My wife and I go to Ray for all of our tattoos, and he does an amazing job. The shop is always clean and kept up nicely. When you come in for a quote he is always quick to tell you how much it will be, and always sticks to it. He is very inexpensive and the quality of his work is very good! I have severe scar tissue on my arms, and he is the only tattoo artist that agreed to work on me. Because of the nature of the scar tissue there are touch ups that need to be done, but he is always more than okay with doing the touch ups at no cost to me. He puts movies on and has interesting conversation every time we go in, so it's not just about getting tattooed, it's more so hanging out with a friend when we are there. We usually go see him about once every month or so and are more than pleased with the results. Go see Ray! You wont regret it! :)
Also, do not listen to the girl that commented below a few reviews. There were customers coming in when I was getting my chest tattoos and I was not even bothered by it. You are in a tattoo shop, if you want privacy, go somewhere else. People are going to want to be onlookers to the work you're getting done, it's a fact. Ray is more than accommodating when you bring him a sketch. Any time I bring in a picture, he makes a copy, traces it, and gives me exactly what I want. He does talk to customers when they come in, but he ALWAYS changes gloves in between, and he NEVER loses track of what he is doing. My wife has gone to him for 2 years and her tattoos are still pretty. If you're in the sun, and depending on the type of your skin, you will need touch ups. But unlike most tattooers, Ray will tell you, "Hey, come in and get a touch up". Don't let one bad review stop you from dropping by! Read Less
