Perfect. I emailed Nick a rough sketch of what I wanted, he wasn't sure if it would fit on my wrist (I chose a fairly thick font) and set up a time with me to come in, chat, and if it worked out get it done then. It worked out great, he had my sketches printed when I came in, I pointed out the little bits I wanted cleaned up, had him extend one line about 1.5mm once the design was on my skin pre-inking, and all of that was great. He even offered input regarding it being "upside down", it's a wrist tattoo, for myself, so I explained why I wanted it that way and he was cool - but he took the time to voice that concern, which I thought was great and really appreciated. (I can see why this would be a great shop for a first tattoo.)The shop itself was clean, well lit and comfortable - and Nick was great, friendly and patient. I have a few tattoos but this was most painful yet, but it was totally tolerable and had it not been, I actually would have been comfortable enough to say "Hey, pause for a sec so I can have a breather" with him.I'm really picky about hygiene; I have some autoimmune issues, so I'm effectively a germaphobe, at least when I am being responsible - Nick was very clean, used hand sanitizer before putting on new gloves, opened the needle in front of me, handled everything with great care, and thoroughly cleaned the area before, during and after.I don't write Yelp reviews often, normally only if I have a really good experience, and this was definitely worth it - very reasonably priced, too. (Their minimum price is $100, and that's what I was charged although I was anticipated more around the $170 range.)You wont regret going here; there's a laid back vibe but you can tell Nick is serious about his work - it's a good combo and put me at ease. :-) Read Less
