Amazing work skills of the artist, but that's where it stops. I walked in and was looked at by two different artist as though I were Trump in a room fullof hookers, disgusted and only looking to make a dollar.   After the initial first impression, I talked to one artist - he'll remain unnamed, mainly because he was cool and his work was great, nothing personal - and the prices for a small not too detailed piece of work the size of a dollar folded in half was astronomical to say the least.  Great work but way expensive. Went in on Friday for their Flash Sale and the vibe was amazing. Even though it got busy quickly Jag, Trent, Kenny, Victor, Carlos, and another artist(sorry I didn’t catch his name) never looked stressed or annoyed. Came here for a consult with jag for a cover up. We waited for a while. He was fashionably late. But who isn't 😉🤣 Jag was nice and friendly. He answered all my questions and dumb questions. Lol considering I was nervous. I was a little bummed to not get my idea for my cover up. But jag gave me other options I could work with. He is the professional so I trust his opinions and suggestions. The other few staff that were there were nice and friendly too. I got my first tattoo in December of last year. I'd been thinking about it for a while but just did not know what to expect and perhaps a little apprehensive too. Met with Kenny first and he told me about the process and the different styles for the artists, made me feel more comfortable and told me to start thinking of what kind I wanted. I spent the next few weeks/months thinking and forming my mind around what I wanted. Finally went to Trent (recommended by Kenny) and what a great experience. I had an idea for a sleeve that I searched months around for before finding Jag on yelp randomly. I really liked his work and the reviews that people put out so I contacted him about my ideas and he was able get everything done. I really appreciate his honesty and how he provided feedback with color vs black and white, and do last minute changes to get exactly what I wanted in my sleeve design. He is super diligent in his work and makes sure his designs come out exactly how you want. There were days where I went in at 6pm and finished at 12am. Sometimes I had to ask him if he even sleeps because he wanted to keep going. His rates are on par with what you would expect for a great tattoo and for the work he puts in, it is definitely worth it.On the bonus side, he has a huge movie collection that I was able to catch up on all the movies I missed. I'm a huge fan of tattoos. All inked up myself. I had a long standing appt with my regular tattoo artist for 3 months. He had to cancel the appt the day of due to back issues. I called around some local shops to try to get squeezed in to get a tattoo. I pulled Unlimited Ink from Yelp and gave them a call. Jag answered the phone and I told him the situation I was in. He was booked for the day, but encouraged me to check out the other artists' work in the shop on their website. After looking at their website, I immediately fell in love with Trent's work. I called Unlimited Ink back and Trent answered the phone. He was so kind and accommodating, switching his personal schedule to fit me in that evening. On top of that, I was looking to do a graffiti art tattoo, and he specializes in that art form. The shop is very clean and all of the staff made me feel very welcomed. Trent exceeded my expectations with my tattoo, both in design and color. I was there for 3 hours and he was a pleasure to work with. I sent a Yelp message to request an appointment and received a super quick reply saying they could see me today. First impression upon walking in was how clean the shop is. The atmosphere was very welcoming and seriously one of the friendliest staffs I have ever seen. There was an artist who offered to share some of his food with me while I was waiting. (wish I would have gotten his name). If you are getting your first tattoo I would highly recommend coming here because you won't feel uncomfortable. *I would also highly recommend coming to Unlimited Ink if this wasn't your first tattoo as well! I saw multiple repeat customers and I understand why.I wasn't getting anything crazy, just my son's initials w/ a small banner. I was happy with how Trent blended it with my existing tattoo, which he also cleaned/touched up (it actually pops out now!). He told me some ideas if I was ever interested in expanding it out in the future. It's been years since I have had any work done and he took the time to catch me up on aftercare. Jag is a Magic Man!!! I came to Jag asking for help with an old dolphin tattoo I got back when I was 18 years old. It was old, faded, and blown out. I didn't think anything could be done. I looked online and liked the artwork I was seeing by Jag. I checked out the shop and looked through Jag's portfolio. Unfortunately Jag wasn't there at the time so I checked out the shop. It was very clean and the guy who helped me was super nice. I can't remember his name but he was very patient and answered all my questions.I made an appointment to meet Jag and have a consultation. What can I say about Jag that hasn't already been said? He's absolutely amazing and has the patience of God! I was super nervous and didn't exactly know what I wanted other than fix the dolphin and add some of my Hawaiian heritage. Jag offered some great ideas and we decided to redo the dolphin and add hibiscus and plumeria flowers. I went back and forth on whether to do color or black and white. On the day of my appointment decided to go with black and white!Because I am such a wimp I bought numbing cream but didn't know I had to put it on 45 minutes prior to getting the tattoo done. Jag was very accommodating and allowed me the extra time and put it on for me. I was so nervous and had been having anxiety all week. Jag talked to me and made me feel so comfortable during the session. Total tattoo time was about 2 hours although I think I was there for 3-4 hours prepping which was my fault for not knowing about the 45 minute wait time on the stupid numbing cream. I felt terrible for wasting his time but he was very sweet about it all! There is a large TV and a lot of movies to chose from. I watched Sausage Party and half of Grandma's Boy!Jag went above and beyond for me and I can't speak highly enough about him. He was patient and his work is meticulous and out of this world! I couldn't be happier with the redo he did on the dolphin and the flowers look soft and beautiful. I'm in love with Jag and my new tattoo! He was there for me even after my tattoo was done.
