I had always drove past this place and decided to stop in and check it out. I just wanted my wife's name put on my chest, on my right side, I already have my daughters name over my heart. This review is a long time coming, as the work was done 2 years ago. The main man Venjamin was busy laying down some ink on someone, so he introduced me to this younger guy who looked like a kid, and now I have totally forgotten his name. After I reviewed all the patterns left behind by people who didn't want to take their patterns when leaving, I was amazed, shocked and blown away by the sheer range of styles he had done. I was just looking for a name in cursive, so he started drawing up the name --- trying his best to match the same style cursive letters as my daughters name. After a while he came up with his rendering, we went trough a couple of rounds of adjustments, then I decided -- that one looks good, slap it on. He geared up, put the rubber gloves on, set up his tat gun, while I got comfortable on the chair/table. The worst part of the whole experience was when we shaved my right chest side! It didn't take long, results were stellar. I'm thinking of coming here and getting a cover-up to go over some old ink I tattoo'd on myself! I would recommend this place. Read Less

Found out about this place from a friend so I saw the instagram page and I really liked Joey's work so I emailed him and he took me in the next day. My review is for Joey GI admit, the first thing I said to him was "Don't take this the wrong way, but how old are you?" Don't let his youthful face fool you, he's a serious artist with years of experience!  He gave me exactly what I wanted, where & how I wanted it. The manager paired us up because I wanted specific (& bright) colors, and he said Joey is his go-to artist for that kind of work. I'm 57, this was my first tattoo, the shop was clean & friendly, the overall experience was wonderful, and the final "product" is perfect. No regrets and a smooth healing process. Thanks, Joey! Strong Tattoo is such a great shop with fun vibes and  an amazing crew of tattoo artists. Each artist is talented and will work with what ever ideas you may have. I got my first tattoo (ever!) from Joey and he did a spectacular job tattooing a rose on me. It came out so nice; he certainly goes by the motto on his business card- bright, bold and neat.
