This really is one of the best places you can go to get a tattoo. The pricing is unbeatable and these guys really do amazing work. I had a great experience! I came in and John helped  me. If you come about 20 minutes before they start, they open the doors early and you can get your foot in a be the first one. I got a turquoise heart with my birth moms name tattooed on my left arm. It took about an hour and everything came out great. I only paid 90 bucks but tipped him 20 because it was great. Late post but I got tatted up from Angel in 2016. He's a awesome tattoo artist. I brought in what I wanted done and he did exactly how wanted. He'll let you know if he can't do which is pretty cool. Him and John are cool guys, make you feel welcome. I've seen Johns work while I was getting my tat, he's really good too (he's been tattooing for decades now and you can tell in his work that he is very experienced). Prices can't be beat. Only word of advice is try to come in before they open cause even if you come in a bout 5 minutes after they open, someone is usually outside waiting and it's first come, first serve. I came to John for my first tattoo when I was 18 years old. John has tattooed every single family member of mine. my twin sister my older brother my mother and my aunts. John tattooed my mother and aunts long before I was born. Not only are they childhood friends but John has been doing this longer than I've been alive (in 26 now, he did The first part of my back when I was 18, added more to it when I was 20 and has been the only artist I've allowed to tattoo me. My tattoo cover my whole back.) The reason why I recommended John is because he is honest and straightforward and will not waste your time. John is a true tattoo artist. I would rather come pick John to tattoo me than anyone in this world because of his experience and knowledge. I got my tattoo here last month. I'm still in love with it. Angel was really considerate when I told him it was my first time getting inked. Parking obviously isn't the best given the location, but I parked a few blocks into the residential area, which wasn't too bad of a walk. It is walk in only and when I came in Angel noticed me and I waited maybe 20-30 minutes before he finished with someone else. I got two, one on my back and another on the side of my thigh. I paid 80 for the two of them. I did use card to pay, but they don't take debit. There is an ATM inside that you can use as well. According to their hours sign, which is posted on their window front, and their answering machine the shop was supposed to stay open until 9P. I arrived a little after 7P. I love this place ! Angel has done all my tattoos and my boyfriend's.  It is walk in only so first come first serve and they book up quick!. We always come in early because we live about an hour away. John is also a great artist, he hasn't done any on us but we have seen his work. These guys are awesome. He (I guess Angel) was very friendly and understood what I expected from the tattoo. He was patient to make sure I liked the design and the font before starting to ink. Unfortunately, I got a small allergic reaction (rash) around the tattoo after 3 weeks. I went to these guys to discuss the remedy for this and they were too kind to suggest me the medications and I was fine in a week. My close friend and I came in here last night for a matching tattoo.  John was the first one to come out and help us.  We told him about what we wanted (coordinates of where we first met) and told us that we needed to find the exact font that we wanted it in.  He was very patient with us while we spent at least 35 minutes trying to find the perfect one.  After finding it, he was easily able to print up a stencil at the perfect size that we wanted.  The actual tattooing process was a breeze and John makes you feel comfortable and at ease (oh and there's tv to watch to distract yourself).  All in all, I can't wait to go back and get more tattoos.  He has such great work for a very affordable price! I would give this a 4.5 stars. My tattoos was done by Angel. He has a very steady hand and very interactive with his customers. He gives you exactly what your looking for. This was my first time getting a tattoo. After my first tattoo, i ended up getting one more. I love both my tattoos. I definitely recommend this place. I've been to quite a few tatoo shops, some in santa clara, berkley, oakland, and southern california, but this one tops them all!! Me and my boyfreind went to get tattoo's of eachothers initials on our ring fingers and angel was awesome!!
