I came here last summer to get my left helix pierced, and would HIGHLY recommend it. I didn't have to wait long and the entire process was very efficient. Walking in, I had to fill out a liability form and read some info about the piercing. Went to Pierced Out and have them 2 Stars bc they did good on my daith but were super rude. Called to see if I can come back for conch - rude on phone but still decided to go. The ball fell out 10 min after I left so I didn't want to go back there, ended up going  to see Daniel at Body Exotic on San Carlos and he was SO NICE and helpful and he pointed out that my end goals (a tighter hoop around healed conch) would be impossible bc the piercing from Pierced Out was done at a weird angle. Terrible customer service! My daughter & I walked in tonight & the place was empty.  The piercer & a client were in the back room. After a few minutes they both came out.  We were not greeted even though we were the only 2 people there. Several minutes went by as we stood there waiting, still with absolutely NO acknowledgement (we're still the only 2 people in the place by the way), when the piercer (chubby guy, dark hair, glasses), pulls out his phone & proceeds to show the client photos of dogs & whatever else was on his camera roll!  We may as well have not even existed & apparently we didn't! That's when I had it.  You clearly have potential clients waiting, do not acknowledge their existence & then proceed to disrespect them & their time even further by carrying on a personal agenda. I never do reviews, but Daniel is the bestttt! I got my dermal dimples done here almost a year ago. Daniel talked everything over with me and patiently answered my same repeated questions . I have gone recently, two separate occasions, due to accidentally tugging/pulling my dermals that I have had them both redone . I first come to this place in 2007 and throughout the years we've been doing different kinds of piercings and I will not go to anyone else. This guy it's a pro at piercing my daughter and I have never had any problems It's not cheap but this guy it's worth every penny. If you want something done right you have to pay the price $. Second time coming here, first time was just a few days ago! I had my nose pierced in Asia and there were complications with it, so I searched for good piercing places around my area and found this shop. Let me just say that I am soooooo happy I stopped by! Met Daniel, who is the owner of this shop and he is extremely helpful!! He knows about everything, just ask him.Came here yesterday because I decided to have my original nose piercing close up and to have the other side pierced. I was a little nervous about the whole thing, but Daniel made sure that I was comfortable before doing the process. His voice is very reassuring! LOL Anyway, the whole procedure went by really quick, probably took around 5 minutes! Overall, I was super pleased with the service and the amount of times he cleaned my nose. Got my ears pierced here yesterday! The guy was super helpful and walked me through everything. He took his time and made sure the piercings were in the exact location I wanted them to be. I'm not sure how this place is for piercings, but as for buying body jewelry-- I'm very impressed!-1 star for how terrible the parking was. I had to loop around several times to try to find street parking and almost gave up and I was about to decide to leave because of it.I came in here a few days ago with my sister to buy new belly rings. Anywhere else I've shopped for body jewelry had a decent selection, but all their navel rings only came in one size. I was happy to discover that body exotic had variations in the length of the bar on the jewelry, as I was looking for a slightly longer one that showed the bar a little bit. I have more fat/skin around the area that my navel was pierced, so most other generic sizes fit it quite snug, which I didn't want anymore.The pricing was really decent too! Read Less

I came here to change out my nose ring. I made the mistake of going to Body Jewelz (never again!!!) and they put this really cheap ring in my nose which of course my nose rejected. I chose a small gold ring because I wanted something pretty subtle. Immediately you can tell the quality of their jewelry in comparison to whatever was currently in my nose. Daniel is awesome! He talked me through the whole process and was really knowledgeable. He had to really get all up in my nose since the ring I had on was apparently put in incorrectly. Nevertheless it was almost painless and I'm really happy with the results. I was a bit worried about changing jewelry so quickly and further irritating my piercing, but am happy to report that the red bump is slowly shrinking away.
