I got my first tattoo here in February. I wanted script and so I called the shop and Angel answered and told me I could come in that same day and get tattooed by @elfara_ink on Instagram. He was so accommodating to what I wanted and stenciled the letters himself to make them look evenly spaced out. In total, my tattoo took 2 hours to stencil and 2 hours to tattoo. I'm so satisfied with it and it came out the exact way I wanted it to look. I'd definitely recommend this shop because not only is it nice on the inside but the artist here know what they're doing and do it well.

Angel was the absolute best. I had gotten a small tattoo from another tattoo artist back in March and she did the shittiest job ever. (You can find my yelp review on my page) it honestly discouraged me to go to anywhere else afraid I might get the same attitude and service. I finally decided to message Angel on Instagram and he told me his rates and I told him I'd stop by one of these days. I built up the courage on my day off to check Angel out at Puzzle Piece, I was definitely nervous but I walked in and he was tattooing someone else (honestly he could've finished w her and I would've been okay waiting but he asked her nicely if he could talk to me for a couple minutes) I showed him my tattoo and a couple of my pictures and ideas on how I want mine to be fixed. He gave me his inputs, a reasonable rate & offer and tried to see if he could squeeze me in a couple days but I couldn't bc I had work. He looked over his schedule and said he could take me in the day of around 3:30p you know I was stocked!! He was so welcoming and understanding. When I came back around 3:30 he was ready to fix me up. He took the time to talk to me about what I wanted to do with my flower and he also told me what he thought would look right but also making sure I was okay with everything he was saying as well as taking in what I wanted added. It was great, the back and forth of throwing ideas was such a great experience. He even asked his colleague for his input too and he was nice about it. He always made sure I was sure of what I wanted! Angel was great and my tattoo came out so much better I wish I went to him before going to anyone else.. he does really good small tattoos too, pays attention to detail! Thanks Angel, definitely coming back here again and again and I'm glad its so close to home.

I checked out his work on Instagram and decided to work with him. The day of my appointment, he drew up EXACTLY what I wanted and finished my piece in 3 hours just as he estimated! Not only was Angel kind, professional, and honest, but so was Uriel, the other artist at the shop! He was conversing and joking with me to distract from the pain and even drew up a piece he was going to work on a client! Thanks to social media and yelp, Β now I can take my time, look around, and talk to artists about my visions. That is how I found Angel at Puzzle Piece Tattoo. I called and made an appointment for a consulation. At the day of, I walked into a very clean, decorated shop greeted by Angel. I had printed a few puzzle pieces (pictures) to share my vision for my full sleeve. He was very genuine and down to earth. He worked with me and met at my spending budget that I couldn't refuse. He was willing to come in early to work with my busy schedule. After 2 sessions, my tattoo came out phenomenal. Its the best one out of all my tattoos. I will definitely come back for my future tattoos and refer anyone asking

I feel like one of the only people who had a less-than-fantastic experience at Puzzle Piece--which is fine, but I feel like I should throw my two cents in. About 8 months ago my two friends and I were looking for a place to get matching tattoos. One of them mentioned having a rapport with the guys at Puzzle Piece, so we headed over for a walk-in after hours.I really appreciate them working on us after the shop closed but as this was a new shop for me and a first time tattoo for one of us, I hoped that we were putting faith in the right spot. Both Uriel and Angel worked on us for simple linework of the Golden Gate Bridge inside a triangle. I quote Cher Horowitz by saying, "It's like a Monet. It looks pretty from a distance but once you get up close it's just one big 'ol mess." I got a blurred black bridge with an inconsistently lined triangle, and my first timer of a friend got what she called a "Dorito" shaped tattoo and told me she would never get another tattoo again. Even the friend who took us there admitted months later that the decision to go was bad. All in all, always look through an artist's book before asking them to work on you, and make sure they have enough artwork on themselves before you go in.

This is super overdue but I've been to Joey Hill for 2 of my most recent tattoos & he is awesome!!! I was looking for someone who can do smaller tattoos with delicate lines but still keeping detail in mind. Joey was super conscious of what I had in mind or any little changes I wanted to make, which I really appreciated. He also takes a while setting up (also appreciate this) to make sure everything is clean/wrapped etc. Joey has a really light hand so the tattoos with him were far less painful than my past experience. He's also just a really nice guy... the whole experience (both times) were really great. I really appreciate Joey's work and the way he handles everything. Follow him on Instagram!! @joeyhilll

When we got there he greeted us and was super polite. He showed us his planner and we were all shocked as in how he had time to give us tattoos. Tattoos came out great. He didn't rush us even though he had a client waiting. My sister and I really appreciate his professionalism.

I called early In their hours and was able to get An appointment the same day. Joey Hill was the one to do my tattoo...I wanted a simple script and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I showed him a picture of the typography of the word I wanted, and he was able to replicate it just like the picture but even better! Would highly recommend 10/10

Absolutely love this place. Each time I've been here has been such a great experience. Angel is super professional and very friendly. I've encountered some pretty rude artists and Angel is nothing like that. He genuinely cares about his clients and takes his work very seriously. He pauses and makes sure you're ok throughout the session offering water or breaks. This was my 3rd tattoo by Angel and needless to say I won't be going to anyone else anymore. Not to mention I can't stop looking at my new tattoo a tribute to my all time favorite horror flick A Nightmare on Elm Street. Thanks again Angel!!

I'm an experienced client. Been tattooed by a lot of artist in a decent amount of shops and I gotta say, I felt right at home at puzzle piece tattoo. All the artists were kind and professional and very welcoming. But it's the tattoo I walked out with that I wanna talk about. It was perfect. I got to have the privilege of being Sean's client tonight and he just knocked it out of the park! Such amazing clean and crisp lines and added to that so light handed, to the point there was almost no pain. Needless to say, I'll be going back to puzzle piece tattoo fairly soon for some more ink. They delivered on all aspects of my visit and made me feel like one of the crew. Two thumbs way up for Sean and the whole bunch at puzzle piece tattoo, you guys rule!

Lucky for him, Angel was able to squeeze him into his busy schedule.When we got there, my BF didn't have a sketch of what he wanted but Angel was patient and helped visualize what he wanted. Since we forgot an important part that we want incorporated into the tattoo, Angel was totally cool with having us come back another day to finish the piece.Angel is very professional, funny, and an amazing artist. Let's just start by saying that I would give this place 20 stars if I could.I found Puzzle Piece Tattoo on Instagram (@Angel415Tatt) about a half-a-year ago and I chose him out of all of the others because his work was consistently good. Since then, My fiancΓ© and I have communicated via text messaging to schedule our appointments and Angel (the owner) has always been responsive and very accommodating to us. The shop is newly remodeled, clean, and well designed. I feel completely comfortable while there and never rushed. He has taken his time on every tattoo that we've had done there (focusing primarily on quality) and has always been transparent about upholding a clean and safe working area by keeping his hands sanitized at all times - even prior to putting on gloves (which he made sure to change whenever his hand touched anything but your skin and his tattooing tool). Furthermore, he prices his tattoos EXTREMELY well and does not try to suck your pockets dry for his work - which I must say is extraordinarily good and clean - unlike other tattoo artists I've dealt with in the past. On top of the clean environment and GREAT tattooing skills, Angel is a very cool, laid back, and friendly guy. My fiancΓ© and I absolutely love this place and as a result, we plan to have any future tattoos done here as well. I wish this shop much success - because that's what great people/service/businesses deserves.In all - GO!!!!!

One of the cleanest tattoo parlors ever. I got my tattoo done by Angel. Cleanest tattoo artist ever. Made sure everything was sanitary before each person gets onto that chair. He was very patient with my friend and I. We had a difficult time deciding how big we wanted it and everything so Angel kept helping us alter the size change the way we wanted the wordings to be written and everything. He made us feel very comfortable while we had our session and kept us from thinking about the pain most of the time. I'll definitely come back ;)P.S they check for IDs and you do sign papers before getting on that chair!

I got my first tattoo here in February. I wanted script and so I called the shop and Angel answered and told me I could come in that same day and get tattooed by @elfara_ink on Instagram. He was so accommodating to what I wanted and stenciled the letters himself to make them look evenly spaced out. In total, my tattoo took 2 hours to stencil and 2 hours to tattoo. I'm so satisfied with it and it came out the exact way I wanted it to look. I'd definitely recommend this shop because not only is it nice on the inside but the artist here know what they're doing and do it well.

Angel was the absolute best. I had gotten a small tattoo from another tattoo artist back in March and she did the shittiest job ever. (You can find my yelp review on my page) it honestly discouraged me to go to anywhere else afraid I might get the same attitude and service. I finally decided to message Angel on Instagram and he told me his rates and I told him I'd stop by one of these days. I built up the courage on my day off to check Angel out at Puzzle Piece, I was definitely nervous but I walked in and he was tattooing someone else (honestly he could've finished w her and I would've been okay waiting but he asked her nicely if he could talk to me for a couple minutes) I showed him my tattoo and a couple of my pictures and ideas on how I want mine to be fixed. He gave me his inputs, a reasonable rate & offer and tried to see if he could squeeze me in a couple days but I couldn't bc I had work. He looked over his schedule and said he could take me in the day of around 3:30p you know I was stocked!! He was so welcoming and understanding. When I came back around 3:30 he was ready to fix me up. He took the time to talk to me about what I wanted to do with my flower and he also told me what he thought would look right but also making sure I was okay with everything he was saying as well as taking in what I wanted added. It was great, the back and forth of throwing ideas was such a great experience. He even asked his colleague for his input too and he was nice about it. He always made sure I was sure of what I wanted! Angel was great and my tattoo came out so much better I wish I went to him before going to anyone else.. he does really good small tattoos too, pays attention to detail! Thanks Angel, definitely coming back here again and again and I'm glad its so close to home.

Not only was Angel kind, professional, and honest, but so was Uriel, the other artist at the shop! He was conversing and joking with me to distract from the pain and even drew up a piece he was going to work on a client! Tattoos sure are addictive. Had my previous tattoos all done by different artists during my younger days. Thanks to social media and yelp, Β now I can take my time, look around, and talk to artists about my visions. That is how I found Angel at Puzzle Piece Tattoo. I called and made an appointment for a consulation. At the day of, I walked into a very clean, decorated shop greeted by Angel. I had printed a few puzzle pieces (pictures) to share my vision for my full sleeve. He was very genuine and down to earth. He worked with me and met at my spending budget that I couldn't refuse. He was willing to come in early to work with my busy schedule. After 2 sessions, my tattoo came out phenomenal. Its the best one out of all my tattoos. I will definitely come back for my future tattoos and refer anyone asking

I feel like one of the only people who had a less-than-fantastic experience at Puzzle Piece--which is fine, but I feel like I should throw my two cents in. About 8 months ago my two friends and I were looking for a place to get matching tattoos. One of them mentioned having a rapport with the guys at Puzzle Piece, so we headed over for a walk-in after hours.I really appreciate them working on us after the shop closed but as this was a new shop for me and a first time tattoo for one of us, I hoped that we were putting faith in the right spot. Both Uriel and Angel worked on us for simple linework of the Golden Gate Bridge inside a triangle. I quote Cher Horowitz by saying, "It's like a Monet. It looks pretty from a distance but once you get up close it's just one big 'ol mess." I got a blurred black bridge with an inconsistently lined triangle, and my first timer of a friend got what she called a "Dorito" shaped tattoo and told me she would never get another tattoo again. Even the friend who took us there admitted months later that the decision to go was bad. All in all, always look through an artist's book before asking them to work on you, and make sure they have enough artwork on themselves before you go in.

This is super overdue but I've been to Joey Hill for 2 of my most recent tattoos & he is awesome!!! I was looking for someone who can do smaller tattoos with delicate lines but still keeping detail in mind. Joey was super conscious of what I had in mind or any little changes I wanted to make, which I really appreciated. He also takes a while setting up (also appreciate this) to make sure everything is clean/wrapped etc. Joey has a really light hand so the tattoos with him were far less painful than my past experience. He's also just a really nice guy... the whole experience (both times) were really great. I really appreciate Joey's work and the way he handles everything. Follow him on Instagram!! @joeyhilll

Angel is awesome! I called last minute to see if he can give my sister and I a tattoo the next day. He told us that he was pretty booked but he was willing to squeeze us in the next morning. When we got there he greeted us and was super polite. He showed us his planner and we were all shocked as in how he had time to give us tattoos. Tattoos came out great. He didn't rush us even though he had a client waiting. My sister and I really appreciate his professionalism.

I've been wanting to get a tattoo for a while and came across this shop (recommended by word around the block and the internet). I called early In their hours and was able to get An appointment the same day. Joey Hill was the one to do my tattoo...I wanted a simple script and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! I showed him a picture of the typography of the word I wanted, and he was able to replicate it just like the picture but even better! Would highly recommend 10/10

Absolutely love this place. Each time I've been here has been such a great experience. Angel is super professional and very friendly. I've encountered some pretty rude artists and Angel is nothing like that. He genuinely cares about his clients and takes his work very seriously. He pauses and makes sure you're ok throughout the session offering water or breaks. This was my 3rd tattoo by Angel and needless to say I won't be going to anyone else anymore. Not to mention I can't stop looking at my new tattoo a tribute to my all time favorite horror flick A Nightmare on Elm Street. Thanks again Angel!!

I'm an experienced client. Been tattooed by a lot of artist in a decent amount of shops and I gotta say, I felt right at home at puzzle piece tattoo. All the artists were kind and professional and very welcoming. But it's the tattoo I walked out with that I wanna talk about. It was perfect. I got to have the privilege of being Sean's client tonight and he just knocked it out of the park! Such amazing clean and crisp lines and added to that so light handed, to the point there was almost no pain. Needless to say, I'll be going back to puzzle piece tattoo fairly soon for some more ink. They delivered on all aspects of my visit and made me feel like one of the crew. Two thumbs way up for Sean and the whole bunch at puzzle piece tattoo, you guys rule!

Lucky for him, Angel was able to squeeze him into his busy schedule.When we got there, my BF didn't have a sketch of what he wanted but Angel was patient and helped visualize what he wanted. Since we forgot an important part that we want incorporated into the tattoo, Angel was totally cool with having us come back another day to finish the piece.Angel is very professional, funny, and an amazing artist. Let's just start by saying that I would give this place 20 stars if I could.I found Puzzle Piece Tattoo on Instagram (@Angel415Tatt) about a half-a-year ago and I chose him out of all of the others because his work was consistently good. Since then, My fiancΓ© and I have communicated via text messaging to schedule our appointments and Angel (the owner) has always been responsive and very accommodating to us. The shop is newly remodeled, clean, and well designed. I feel completely comfortable while there and never rushed. He has taken his time on every tattoo that we've had done there (focusing primarily on quality) and has always been transparent about upholding a clean and safe working area by keeping his hands sanitized at all times - even prior to putting on gloves (which he made sure to change whenever his hand touched anything but your skin and his tattooing tool). Furthermore, he prices his tattoos EXTREMELY well and does not try to suck your pockets dry for his work - which I must say is extraordinarily good and clean - unlike other tattoo artists I've dealt with in the past. On top of the clean environment and GREAT tattooing skills, Angel is a very cool, laid back, and friendly guy. My fiancΓ© and I absolutely love this place and as a result, we plan to have any future tattoos done here as well. I wish this shop much success - because that's what great people/service/businesses deserves.In all - GO!!!!!

One of the cleanest tattoo parlors ever. I got my tattoo done by Angel. Cleanest tattoo artist ever. Made sure everything was sanitary before each person gets onto that chair. He was very patient with my friend and I. We had a difficult time deciding how big we wanted it and everything so Angel kept helping us alter the size change the way we wanted the wordings to be written and everything. He made us feel very comfortable while we had our session and kept us from thinking about the pain most of the time. I'll definitely come back ;)P.S they check for IDs and you do sign papers before getting on that chair!
