If you want any realism work, this is hands down the best place to go to in the Bay Area!!! Brian gave me the best tattoo experience possible this summer. He took me in, and cleared a whole day to do a major cover up. The work is excellent and the price is great as well. The shop is super clean, and he was knowledgeable about everything I asked him. To make a long story short, I was young and dumb once upon a time. Ended up getting a name tattooed and we all know how that goes. Ended up trying to cover it once and really should have been more patient and smart but I rushed just to avoid seeing the name, safe to say it didn't really cover anything up. Fast forward to now, I finally told myself I'm finding me a good tattoo artist and no matter the price, I'm paying so I can be happy! You definitely get what you pay for and I learned the hard way, but I'm so glad to have yelped and found Brian. I had different artists in mind, but Brian was local and since day 1 was always super responsive via email and answering all my questions. Ended up finally meeting with him after back and forth emails, there's a parking garage right next door and I paid $7 from 11:30am to 3pm on a Saturday. Anyways we agreed on a cover up and date. I could not be any happier with the outcome! He really made gold out of the garbage I had. By the way the inside of the shop is amazing! I love the decor, it's clean and makes you feel so comfortable. Brian is so humble and honest, you can tell he takes great pride in his work, he really took his time with my cover up and even mid way through the session I questioned myself how good of a job he does for the price. In a world where there are a lot of wannabes sitting behind tattoo machines creating horrible work on people, Brian is nothing short of a master craftsman. Met him on Instagram and became an instant fan of his work especially the Heisenberg piece seeing how I am a huge Breaking Bad fan. The day of my 30th birthday back in March, out of the spur of the moment, I decided to get my 3rd tattoo. I've been studying Buddhism for quite sometime so to show my love and appreciation for my newfound way of life, I decided I wanted a tattoo of Siddhartha. I hit Brian up and I believe he had a cancellation that day which was perfect for me. I went into the shop and approached him with what started as a basic idea but ended up a true masterpiece. Brian decided to go with a portrait of Siddhartha with cracked stone texture to it. I didn't even hesitate. Almost 7 hours later (I took one 3 minute break to pee and that was it) Brian had created a true work of art on my arm. I was blown away by it and so was my girlfriend. The next several days afterwards, I was damn near stopped in the middle of the street everywhere I went while people (including other Buddhists) stopped and admired my tattoo. I will be forever grateful for this brother and as long as he still has a shop in San Francisco, I'll forever be a customer until I run out of space for new tattoos. **sidenote** Cleanest studio I've ever been in. One chair, one artist, just you and the man you're trusting with your body.
