Such amazing artists here chuy is my go to because I've known him for 11 years and I've seen such amazing work come from his artistic mind, and it just keeps getting better!! I give him full artistic range and I get blown away by the beautifully detailed master pieces he constantly dishes out! Although he is a little booked out into the year it's WELL worth the wait for such fantastic works of art from this beauticul mind! I have to say that getting a tattoo had been a long time coming and I'm so grateful I waited. I got a referral from a friend to go and see Jaime at Vital Lines. I had wanted to get some Hebrew lettering on my wrist that had some sentimental meaning to me. I went in for a consultation.  Jaime and Ricky made me feel very comfortable with the process; although I did bring a girl friend with me to make sure I actually followed through....haha. Anyway, the process was a lot shorter and much less intense than I thought it would be. Jaime was amazingly professional and had a very calming energy about him. My daughter got a proverbs scripture tattoo in Hebrew writing--quite a difficult task to make sure each symbol/character is drawn perfect... But Jaime did it to perfection. He took his time in helping us select the right color, and he reset the location until my daughter was completely satisfied (it was difficult to get the straight line placed precisely, as it was located on a curvaceous part of her side.) This is truely an art studio with 3 amazing artists who paint the most amazing pictures which are hanging on the walls for our pleasure. They will take what you want tattooed on your body and make it a beautiful piece of art (their specialty). I went for a small tattoo and walked out with a beautiful piece of art forever on my wrist. I had been looking for an artist that seemed ok with me to get my next tattoo. My sister recommended me to Jaime, so I went with my girlfriend. She was looking to get her first tattoo also. We arrived to the shop and met Jaime, he is a real cool guy. My girlfriend told him about what she wanted to get and showed him some pictures. They both went back and forth and we could tell he knew what she was going for. I then showed him what I wanted, it was simple. He the showed me where and how it would look nice. I liked his idea and went with it. A week or two later we returned. He showed my girlfriend some really nice sketches he had done. Once she picked the one she liked, he got to work on her. He took his time on both of our tattoos, he didn't rush it. This was my second tattoo and I love it. My girlfriends tattoo came out perfect and awesome. He is a great artist, and I am differently going back when i have the cash to get more done.    I recommend to anyone looking to get something done to Jaime. Being a collector of tattoos I've seen some of the best artist in the world. After moving to San Diego from LA I really wasn't going to get any work done here. After doing plenty of research and asking around who is good with black and grey in San Diego I kept hearing the name Panch. So I searched for him and ended up at Vital Lines Tattoo in Ocean Beach . After seeing a number of his tattoos on a few of my friends I knew that it was a done deal. I came into the shop and met the artist on my way home from work to take a look at his portfolio. I was blown away. I couldn't believe that such  talented artist were only a few miles away from my house. I booked a appointment for the following week which was when he had his first opening. I came in and he got straight to work. He was asking me questions like where I wanted it and how, and made sure the outline was perfectly placed exactly to where it needed to be. The tattoo came out amazing!!!! No words could describe the talent of this artist. The price was very reasonable I thought there had been a mistake. I had to tip him I was so happy with the work I received. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get a bad ass tattoo that your gonna love forever.The other Artist there are also amazingly talented!!! So I got my first taytoo done here by Panch. It was a very simple tattoo, "". I arrived around 2pm, was a walk-in. I hadn't eaten anything all day and as Panch went to grab some lunch for himself he went out of his way to grab me a burger and drink from across the street. Who does that?! I been looking all around San Diego, I even went Los Angeles to get my tattoo done at "LA ink"/High Voltage" but they blew me off and said making my tattoo would ruin their image as a tatto artist, that just shows how well their art work is. Chad Whitson has done almost 20 hours of work on me and I keep going back because he's not just an amazing tattoo artist, he's an all around amazing artist.  Just today he redid a tattoo for me that origionally took 4 hours to do by an artist in PB, it took him 2 1/2 hours to outline and completely redo the color, not only is the work a thousand times better but it even cost me less time, money, and pain.  This shop has a great environment, they're down to earth great people.  Chad is my artist and I'll never go to anyone else as long as he's in San Diego.
