Clay and Ryan are very experienced Artists! Clay is an inspiring, approachable, and helpful teacher at Cuyamaca and Mira Costa colleges His illustrations are finely detailed, complex, and take you to another world. His steady hand translates to his tattoo work. Me and two of my sisters all got a tattoo from him and had an amazing experience! Highly recommend!Also their studio is very earthy, eclectic and a peaceful place to be for a lengthy session

I have had many tattoos by Brandon and my upper arm by Ryan at this shop. This shop is incredible for custom pieces. The overall vibe is so welcoming and their are about a million things too look at if you feel akward waiting around for your artist to set up. There is a bar around the corner if you need a cold shot of tequila as a warm up, just saying.

Great art. Great shop. Great people. Custom work only here no flash and all the work done there is amazing. It's in South Park not golden hill, Next to the whistle stop. 100% recommend this place.

If you want creative, original artwork this is the place to go. I highly recommend looking at their website. They show not only their tattoo work, but fine art pieces as well. For me, this is important because it shows me the artist's style in other mediums, and how that translates to their tattoo work. My first piece was done by Clayton, the second by Chris. Both have unique styles and were great to work with. I recommend them to everyone.

Super cool tattoo from Chad Hartgrave. Sanskrit letting down my spine. He reworked it on paper many times to get it perfect! I love it! The space is very cool... private and subdued.

If you are looking for somewhere to get a piece of artwork done.. then you have found the right place. This isn't the run of the mill tattoo studio. You won't find pages of tattoos lining the walls....
If you are looking for somewhere to get a piece of artwork done.. then you have found the right place. This isn't the run of the mill tattoo studio. You won't find pages of tattoos lining the walls. All of the tattoo work here is original artwork. Clayton is not only an excellent tattooist, he is an art professor. Great group of guys, great experience.
