His attention to detail is impeccable, which is evidenced by the amount of time he spent perfecting a drawing of my tattoo beforehand so that he could create a stencil to work with and the perfectly straight lines in my compass. I cannot say enough about Taylor!!!! I went in today for a tattoo of a compass on my back, behind my right shoulder. It looks amazing! It turned out exactly how I wanted. Taylor is warm, friendly, and extremely attentive to detail. Before he started, he explained everything to me--even the needles he was using. He used a stencil to make sure the tattoo was the exact size and shape that I wanted. He has a firm, steady hand and produced perfectly straight lines (which has to be a challenge). My friend went here for a half sleeve on his arm and Taylor did a fantastic job at it! He also did a cute lil heart on my foot. This studio is very small, but very well maintained with a bunch of his artwork on the walls. It's discreetly located inside this blue building---I honestly wouldn't have noticed it if my friend hadn't told me about this place. Taylor and wife are super friendly. My partner and I have been getting work from Taylor for years, he was actually our tattoo artist in New York, so we were THRILLED when he relocated to San Diego just a few months before we relocated to Orange County. Taylor is so professional and has the ability to make anyone feel comfortable and at ease. When working with him, it's clear that YOUR vision is his top priority. There is no artist ego involved. I also really like that he is strong in many different styles. And, of course, his shop is always SPOTLESS, and health, hygiene, and safety are never compromised. Taylor at Taylored Tattoos is the best tattoo artist I've ever seen. He did a piece on my husband, and it is phenomenal. (I'll post a picture once it's healed)We were referred by a friend, and quickly looked him up on Facebook and my husband loved what he saw. He was very quick to respond and has us in within the next couple of day. We brought a few pictures of components he wanted in the piece. Taylor had a sketch drawn up within the next 2!!! days, we went in, and IT WAS PERFECT!! Beyond what we could have ever imagined, and he set up a date. He had drawn up a sketch and tattoo'd, all within a week. VERY timely. VERY professional. The tattoo itself turned out better than we could ever imagine. The first seating was about 7 hours. Taylor was very focused, but he still talked to my husband the whole time. It was a very comfortable atmosphere. He has a great personality. TAYLOR IS SO SANITARY IT'S NOT EVEN FUNNY!! He's constantly cleaning, using clean towels, gloves, washing his hands, etc. His equipment is very clean as well. The location is great! We felt safe the whole time. Parking is pretty good.
