I love this place! The shop looks amazing and the vibe you feel when you step foot inside is awesome. The staff are very welcoming which is cool especially if you're kinda shy like me haha The whole experience from the moment you put your foot in the door till the moment you step out is beyond words. I just got my nose pierced today! Wonderful experience. I found this shop on Yelp as I haven't been pierced since college (up North). She was able to pierce over my old piercing (closed hole). Lots great! Loved the shop's atmosphere. Definitely recommend! Read Less

This joint rocks. I had a pretty horrible tattoo that Garrett fixed for me. He was recommended by another artist and he did one hell of a job. This tattoo place is probably the best one in San Diego, Everyone here was warm and welcoming, j walked in soaking wet from the rain and we all laughed together before they brought me something to dry off with, they were closing early but Ashley the artist who did my tattoo stayed later to do my piece. They even gave me a free shirt because mine was so wet. In regards to laser removal Disney is so awesome. He has amazing customer service. Makes you feel at ease with his demeanor. The place is very clean and is a high quality shop. I've had two laser tattoo removals here and both times, I was in and out. Disney is very friendly and welcoming. I love that he uses a machine that blows cold air to help with the pain because tattoo removals are very painful! He even checked up on me afterwards to see how my tattoo removal was healing!! This is the worsest place ever , i got my small tattoo here 3 months ago and it s very bad. Colour is not even and not acute. The bàd guy who did my tattoo is mr A or J i guess. He had a long beard he wasnt pay attention on me because i coudnt speak E well . I thought i should to cme this place to do complaining but my husband said i should to go the orther place to fix it. I paid a lot of money for small tattoo . If they re perfect im ok but not. Wow this place! They are super friendly and patient. We had Daniello, doesn't speak much English but he's learning. Everyone from the time we walked in and got our tattoo every single person was nice. We were greeted quickly, Dan let us scroll through like a 100 different fonts before we found the one. Second, our uncle had just passed and we called him B and they did exactly how and what we wanted and in a timely manner. Definitely a great place. Don't believe all these other reviews ! This place may draw you in with it's fancy looks, but it's full of perverts. After waiting over 30 minutes for the artist to draw my design. The headache began. I mean, my tattoo turned out ok for how simple it was, but the artist ( I can't remember his name) seemed more interested in trying to get a date with me than my tattoo. Even after I told him I have a boyfriend, he didn't stop. He also convinced me to change my design & I don't like it at all now. It's too far from my idea. Propaganda tattoo was voted best of the best in San Diego by City Search for their first shop in Point Loma so it was hard to believe they could improve on such a stellar operation. Their El Cajon shop, however, has done just that. Better artists, better service and safer environment than any tattoo shop in San Diego. I WANTED A TATTOO FOR YEARS BUT WAS WORRIED ABOUT SLOPPY WORK AND/OR BAD HYGIENE. I CAME ACROSS 'PROPAGANDA' IN OCEAN BEACH BY CHANCE, LATER BROUGHT IN A LOT OF TATTOOS FROM THE INTERNET TO INDICATE THE STYLE I WANTED. SERGIO, A FELLOW BRAZILIAN, TOOK MY INPUT AND IN TWO DAYS CAME UP WITH AN ORIGINAL TRIBAL DESIGN LIKE NONE I HAD EVER SEEN. AFTER A COUPLE OF TWEEKS TO THE DESIGN I GOT IT DONE, FOUR HOURS OF CONCENTRATED WORK ON MY UPPER LEFT ARM. IT WAS PAINFUL BUT ENDURABLE WITH A COUPLE OF PAIN KILLERS THAT I THOUGHTFULLY BROUGHT ALONG. NOT A DAY GOES BY THAT I DON'T GET COMPLIMENTS ON IT. AND MOST OF ALL, I REALLY LIKE IT.
