i have been really good friends w the owner and some of the other artists for a little over a year now. it started as professional and over time we grew a friendship. he's done a couple tattoos on me and i really love them. about a month ago i had an appointment with Brandon (the owner) to finish a tattoo he started for me. he canceled on me last minute and didn't hear from him to reschedule for 3-4 weeks. he offered to give me a free tattoo for my birthday about a year ago, of course i took the offer and assured him that if he wanted me to start paying him absolutely would. since he wasn't responding to my text messages, i called his shop multiple times and he was avoiding me. i ended up showing up to his shop because i wasn't hearing from him. he was with a client so i told him to just give me a call when he had the chance. didn't hear from him for another few days till i got a text from him telling me i was "taking advantage of him". which i don't think was the case. i recently got into a relationship and it's strange how all of sudden i'm using someone who i thought was my friend who offered me something. even after i assured him that i would pay him if he wanted me to. i now have an unfinished tattoo from him. this was extremely unprofessional and i was blindsided by him. if my assumptions are wrong, his communication for a grown man is absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. i have referred multiple friends and have talked very highly about him and his business up until this point. go check out guru tattoo. i'm sure the artist there won't offer u free tattoos for "something in return".

*Brandon is not only an incredibly skilled artist that does all of his tattoo designs by hand, he’s a super smart, chill, and kind guy. Brandon made my 6.5 hour sitting as pleasant as possible and was genuinely concerned and supportive getting through the (especially tough) last hour. He constantly checked in with me not only about how I was feeling during the process, but to ensure his work exceeded my expectations at every decision point. I cannot recommend Brandon enough and would only return to him should I ever want more art!
*I met with multiple tattoo artists and saw their proposed designs ahead of time and easily chose Brandon over everyone else.

Ask for Rob. He is professional and does excellent work. He'll work with you to come up with a custom design that meets your specifications. He can do a lot of different styles of tattoos, and he's a great guy. He also is a hardworking single dad, taking care of his awesome son, who I had the privilege of meeting! So not only will you get great tattoo work done, but you'll be helping out two very good people.He's also glad to help out with any fixes/adjustments to make sure you're satisfied. I'm happy with the work he does.

While vacationing in San Diego I decided to stop in and see if I could get a tattoo done that I've been wanting for a while. I came in and Joel right away quoted me and started drawing up a design for me. He was so nice and helpful through out the entire process. I feel bad that I was a little rushed since we were flying out that night. The work he did was amazing and reassured me my piece could be done in the time frame I had before I had to get on the plane. He killed it! I love it so much and would love to go back and see him on my next trip down there! Very clean and professional work environment. Thanks again Joel!

I've had good experiences (multiple sessions) getting my tattoo created and worked on here. Joel created a beautiful custom lotus tattoo on my upper back with water colors. He also did my boyfriend's Calvin and Hobbes tattoo. Joel also guarantees his work. If you want adjustments or minor fixes to the tattoo, he'll make sure you're happy with the results without charging you extra. Another reason why you should considering getting a tattoo done by Joel is that he makes sure you feel comfortable during the session. Nothing is better than having a good and engaging conversation while getting a tattoo done. Win-win situation. They also have a cute fluffy pup that comes around the shop too. I got a tattoo at this shop today and I just want to say I am very unsatisfied and extremely unhappy with the outcome. The environment and the employees were great. However, the process of the tattoo was very rushed. There is blobs of black in certain parts which were supposed to be the waves. The price was way too high for undeatailed work. My tattoo only took about ten minutes to do. It is a good size tattoo. I'm confused on how it only took ten minutes? He even mentioned that he does his tattoos "super fast". My friend went in the shop with me today and also got a tattoo. Her tattoo was more detailed and used a lot more ink. Her tattoo was only $60 and it looks great. I just want to say the guy who did my tattoo rushed and should probably take more time on his work or should not work there at all.

Do NOT put a deposit down unless you know for sure you want work done.We had some unforeseen expenses come up and really needed our cash deposit back.We were not told that 50% would be kept "because the shop takes that".Sorry - that really needs to be told to potential customers up front.We were told nothing other than "I need a cash deposit"...Now with only 50% back we will later go to a different tattoo shop for our work.We would have been back here if not for this - not cool at all :-(

I had already been to two other shops prior and no one showed very much interest in working with me on my ideas for a design. Mike took a tracing of my arm and instantly showed interest in working with me. It was such a relief to finally find a tattoo artist who wants to do nothing but create art and please ...his clients. He worked with me on the drawings and if I wanted something changed or tweeked in any way he had no problem going above and beyond to make it everything I could ask for! The best part is that he actually took the time to listen to me and allow himself to fully understand what it was I wanted. Currently working on my half sleeve with him and I couldn't be happier. I also have friends who have been tattooed by brandon who also does an exceptional job. Everyone at this art studio does amazing work. I have never seen anyone walk out unhappy. This studio is full of skilled tattooers. The entire shop is very well put together. Very sanitary and professional. Everyone in the shop is very talented and welcoming. Every Time I have walked into the shop everyone always has a smile on their face and its very clear they love what they do. Garrett was was also professional and very patient with my pain tolerance. This art studio is the cleanest in PB. My fourth tattoo is a full knee to ankle underwater scene. In short, this very large tattoo is literary MIND-BLOWING! It is awesome! It truly is beyond my expectations! I highly recommend going to see Garrett for your next tattoo.

Me and my friend decided to get tattoos one evening and thought what better place than PB. With so many tattoo studios in PB it can be hard to choose but we chose Dimora since we heard good things from a friend we know who got a couple tattoos done here. Joel helped me with my ouroboros snake Celtic knot tattoo and the experience couldn't have been any more simple and seamless. I'm glad I went with the slightly bigger size he recommended. My tattoo looks great and healed beautifully. Thanks for the forever art on my forearm, Joel! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for friendly artists that really know what they're doing and look out for their customers. :)

PB is the land of bars, smoke shops and tattoo parlors. How do you choose a shop among the dozens that are available? Well we just happened to stumble into this one and we definitely weren't disappointed! We have previously walked into other shops along Garnet and felt ignored, grossed out or they were too busy to really talk to us. This place was definitely the opposite. The staff was incredibly friendly. They took the time to find out what we all wanted and got it exactly right. 3 of us got tattoos last night. The price was perfect. Joel did my tattoo and he did an awesome job! He took his time with it and got it just right. I wasn't looking for anything fancy or super detailed, but if I decide to in the future, I would definitely go back to him for my next one!! I love my flower and am so glad I got it done!! The other two in my group also love their tattoos (though I'm not sure the names of their artists). I definitely recommend Dimora and we will be back for more ink in the future!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! the people are so rude. I walked in and there wasn't any portfolios of proof of work anywhere and when i walked up to the receptionist she basically rolled her eyes at me and threw some black books at me. After choosing the artist I wanted to talk to, he told me he needed to go run to the store and would be back in 5 mins. I sat there for 15 mins while he went and got a burrito and smoked outside. The whole time I was there, the "artists" were all just sitting around saying offensive things about the women walking outside. When I finally sat down to get my tattoo they seemed to finally have all their stuff together but after a few minutes got up to have another smoke and proceeded to blast really horrible rap music based on their likes. They did not take any consideration on my wants, the customer and didn't ask if I was comfortable. Lastly, this girl came in to get a tattoo and claimed to have an appointment but the artist completely denied it. Once she hastily left unhappy all the artist including the one that was tattooing started talking mad trash about her. Right in front of me!! Who does that?! Overall these people are really unprofessional. My tattoo was subpar and disappointing. Based on actual research my next time around, when shopping around for tattoo shops I decided to go to Guru and was in no way disappointed. I left with the most amazing and my favorite tattoo yet. I would definitely recommend Guru, though it is a bit more expensive it is worth the price since a tattoo is something that will be with you for the rest of your life.

Just got my first ink ever done by Baker. It was an awesome experience to say the least.First off, this place is called an art studio, and the interior decor is a testament to this moniker as it is very crafty, clean and well-organized. If you're a person that is scared of getting inked due to the fact that many tattoo shops have a grungy look to them, you needn't worry when coming here as it looks more like a health clinic (minus the sick people of course). This cleanliness is very appealing and naturally shows the sterile and safe environment you will be getting your tattoo at.Secondly, the pricing, speed and precision of the artists here is top-notch. I shopped around for a year before choosing a place (if you know PB, you know the choices are limitless) and I got quoted almost triple the price at another shop for a less intricate piece whereas here I was in and out in an hour with two pieces done masterfully and without breaking the bank.So if you're ready to get under the needle hit this place up, ask for Baker, he's young but he's got talent and makes it enjoyable, so much so that I'm itching (no pun intended) to go back ASAP.Cheers!

I've walked past this place at least 50 times and thought about how clean and professional it looked. So when I decided to get my latest piercing, I went to Dimora. Garrett said he's been there since the shop opened and that he learned to pierce after the owner, who was the primary piercer, up and left the studio. Garrett was a nice guy.However, he pierced my septum--my 14th piercing--reeeally crookedly. When I called to talk to him about it, he wouldn't talk to me, but instead told the receptionist to tell me that he would not refund it, only re-pierce it. Uh... what makes you think I want to let you try again--on my body--after you failed the first time? No thanks, dude. The best thing I could have gotten out of this was my money back, but greed overrides professionalism here. I won't come here again nor will I ever recommend it.

i have been really good friends w the owner and some of the other artists for a little over a year now. it started as professional and over time we grew a friendship. he's done a couple tattoos on me and i really love them. about a month ago i had an appointment with Brandon (the owner) to finish a tattoo he started for me. he canceled on me last minute and didn't hear from him to reschedule for 3-4 weeks. he offered to give me a free tattoo for my birthday about a year ago, of course i took the offer and assured him that if he wanted me to start paying him absolutely would. since he wasn't responding to my text messages, i called his shop multiple times and he was avoiding me. i ended up showing up to his shop because i wasn't hearing from him. he was with a client so i told him to just give me a call when he had the chance. didn't hear from him for another few days till i got a text from him telling me i was "taking advantage of him". which i don't think was the case. i recently got into a relationship and it's strange how all of sudden i'm using someone who i thought was my friend who offered me something. even after i assured him that i would pay him if he wanted me to. i now have an unfinished tattoo from him. this was extremely unprofessional and i was blindsided by him. if my assumptions are wrong, his communication for a grown man is absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. i have referred multiple friends and have talked very highly about him and his business up until this point. go check out guru tattoo. i'm sure the artist there won't offer u free tattoos for "something in return".

*Brandon is not only an incredibly skilled artist that does all of his tattoo designs by hand, he’s a super smart, chill, and kind guy. Brandon made my 6.5 hour sitting as pleasant as possible and was genuinely concerned and supportive getting through the (especially tough) last hour. He constantly checked in with me not only about how I was feeling during the process, but to ensure his work exceeded my expectations at every decision point. I cannot recommend Brandon enough and would only return to him should I ever want more art!
*I met with multiple tattoo artists and saw their proposed designs ahead of time and easily chose Brandon over everyone else.

I came in and Joel right away quoted me and started drawing up a design for me. He was so nice and helpful through out the entire process. I feel bad that I was a little rushed since we were flying out that night. The work he did was amazing and reassured me my piece could be done in the time frame I had before I had to get on the plane. He killed it! He also did my boyfriend's Calvin and Hobbes tattoo. Joel also guarantees his work. If you want adjustments or minor fixes to the tattoo, he'll make sure you're happy with the results without charging you extra. Another reason why you should considering getting a tattoo done by Joel is that he makes sure you feel comfortable during the session. I got a tattoo at this shop today and I just want to say I am very unsatisfied and extremely unhappy with the outcome. The environment and the employees were great. However, the process of the tattoo was very rushed. There is blobs of black in certain parts which were supposed to be the waves. The price was way too high for undeatailed work. My tattoo only took about ten minutes to do. It is a good size tattoo. I'm confused on how it only took ten minutes? He even mentioned that he does his tattoos "super fast". My friend went in the shop with me today and also got a tattoo. Her tattoo was more detailed and used a lot more ink. Her tattoo was only $60 and it looks great. I just want to say the guy who did my tattoo rushed and should probably take more time on his work or should not work there at all.

Do NOT put a deposit down unless you know for sure you want work done.We had some unforeseen expenses come up and really needed our cash deposit back.We were not told that 50% would be kept "because the shop takes that".Sorry - that really needs to be told to potential customers up front.We were told nothing other than "I need a cash deposit"...Now with only 50% back we will later go to a different tattoo shop for our work.We would have been back here if not for this - not cool at all :-(

I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted. Not being artistic in the slightest way I explained my Ideas to Mike (who owns the shop) and told him everything I had in mind. I had already been to two other shops prior and no one showed very much interest in working with me on my ideas for a design. Mike took a tracing of my arm and instantly showed interest in working with me. It was such a relief to finally find a tattoo artist who wants to do nothing but create art and please ...his clients. He worked with me on the drawings and if I wanted something changed or tweeked in any way he had no problem going above and beyond to make it everything I could ask for! The best part is that he actually took the time to listen to me and allow himself to fully understand what it was I wanted. Currently working on my half sleeve with him and I couldn't be happier. I also have friends who have been tattooed by brandon who also does an exceptional job. Everyone at this art studio does amazing work. I have never seen anyone walk out unhappy. This studio is full of skilled tattooers. The entire shop is very well put together. Very sanitary and professional. Everyone in the shop is very talented and welcoming. Garrett was was also professional and very patient with my pain tolerance. This art studio is the cleanest in PB. My fourth tattoo is a full knee to ankle underwater scene. In short, this very large tattoo is literary MIND-BLOWING! It is awesome! It truly is beyond my expectations! I highly recommend going to see Garrett for your next tattoo.

Me and my friend decided to get tattoos one evening and thought what better place than PB. With so many tattoo studios in PB it can be hard to choose but we chose Dimora since we heard good things from a friend we know who got a couple tattoos done here. Joel helped me with my ouroboros snake Celtic knot tattoo and the experience couldn't have been any more simple and seamless. I'm glad I went with the slightly bigger size he recommended. My tattoo looks great and healed beautifully. Thanks for the forever art on my forearm, Joel! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for friendly artists that really know what they're doing and look out for their customers. :)

PB is the land of bars, smoke shops and tattoo parlors. How do you choose a shop among the dozens that are available? Well we just happened to stumble into this one and we definitely weren't disappointed! We have previously walked into other shops along Garnet and felt ignored, grossed out or they were too busy to really talk to us. This place was definitely the opposite. The staff was incredibly friendly. They took the time to find out what we all wanted and got it exactly right. 3 of us got tattoos last night. The price was perfect. Joel did my tattoo and he did an awesome job! He took his time with it and got it just right. I wasn't looking for anything fancy or super detailed, but if I decide to in the future, I would definitely go back to him for my next one!! I love my flower and am so glad I got it done!! The other two in my group also love their tattoos (though I'm not sure the names of their artists). I definitely recommend Dimora and we will be back for more ink in the future!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! the people are so rude. I walked in and there wasn't any portfolios of proof of work anywhere and when i walked up to the receptionist she basically rolled her eyes at me and threw some black books at me. After choosing the artist I wanted to talk to, he told me he needed to go run to the store and would be back in 5 mins. I sat there for 15 mins while he went and got a burrito and smoked outside. The whole time I was there, the "artists" were all just sitting around saying offensive things about the women walking outside. When I finally sat down to get my tattoo they seemed to finally have all their stuff together but after a few minutes got up to have another smoke and proceeded to blast really horrible rap music based on their likes. They did not take any consideration on my wants, the customer and didn't ask if I was comfortable. Lastly, this girl came in to get a tattoo and claimed to have an appointment but the artist completely denied it. Once she hastily left unhappy all the artist including the one that was tattooing started talking mad trash about her. Right in front of me!! Who does that?! Overall these people are really unprofessional. My tattoo was subpar and disappointing. Based on actual research my next time around, when shopping around for tattoo shops I decided to go to Guru and was in no way disappointed. I left with the most amazing and my favorite tattoo yet. I would definitely recommend Guru, though it is a bit more expensive it is worth the price since a tattoo is something that will be with you for the rest of your life.

It was an awesome experience to say the least.First off, this place is called an art studio, and the interior decor is a testament to this moniker as it is very crafty, clean and well-organized. If you're a person that is scared of getting inked due to the fact that many tattoo shops have a grungy look to them, you needn't worry when coming here as it looks more like a health clinic (minus the sick people of course). This cleanliness is very appealing and naturally shows the sterile and safe environment you will be getting your tattoo at.Secondly, the pricing, speed and precision of the artists here is top-notch. I shopped around for a year before choosing a place (if you know PB, you know the choices are limitless) and I got quoted almost triple the price at another shop for a less intricate piece whereas here I was in and out in an hour with two pieces done masterfully and without breaking the bank.So if you're ready to get under the needle hit this place up, ask for Baker, he's young but he's got talent and makes it enjoyable, so much so that I'm itching (no pun intended) to go back ASAP.Cheers!

I've walked past this place at least 50 times and thought about how clean and professional it looked. So when I decided to get my latest piercing, I went to Dimora. Garrett said he's been there since the shop opened and that he learned to pierce after the owner, who was the primary piercer, up and left the studio. Garrett was a nice guy.However, he pierced my septum--my 14th piercing--reeeally crookedly. When I called to talk to him about it, he wouldn't talk to me, but instead told the receptionist to tell me that he would not refund it, only re-pierce it. Uh... what makes you think I want to let you try again--on my body--after you failed the first time? No thanks, dude. The best thing I could have gotten out of this was my money back, but greed overrides professionalism here. I won't come here again nor will I ever recommend it.
