I love this place. I love Roy and his staff. I've watched this place grow and it's truly amazing. All the artist have a lot of experience and there is no amateur hour here. I have been going to Roy “Loy Loy” Leyva at Classic Traditions Art Co. in Pacific Beach to get all my work done for years now. I have also referred several friends and family to him and everyone has left his shop extremely pleased with the quality of work as well as the overall experience. The shop is very clean and it is evident that Loy Loy takes great pride in it. His portrait work is especially impressive. I have 7 portraits done and my husband also has two portraits done all by Loy Loy and they are all amazing. He’s very willing to work with clients to ensure they get exactly what they want and is very particular about the detail in his tattoos. I am always receiving compliments on my tattoos and I have nobody but Loy Loy to thank for that. Whenever I am approached by someone about my tattoos, I make sure to tell them who did it and where exactly his shop is. I always get excited when I head to the shop to get a new piece because I know it will turn out amazing. I've known Roy for years, but little did I know about his gift for Portraits, tattooing, etc. It was a pleasure getting a very sentimental portrait of my Mother after her passing done by Roy. He is a perfectionist and that's the way it should be! The shop is easy to find and gorgeous! Very proud of what he is continuing to accomplish.
