I had my eyebrows microbladed by someone else nearly a year ago and had their work corrected by Dani at Battle Royale. I don't want to bash too much on my first microblading experience, but my appointment with Dani was so incredibly positive in comparison. Dani addressed my concerns and was extremely attentive and understanding. She explained what she was doing and how it was going to correct the previous microblading. I felt absolutely nothing (better numbing experience than last time, too), and could honestly not be happier. Most relaxed and comfortable tattoo experience! I got my eyebrows micro bladed here by a wonderful lady . Dani is the biggest sweat heart and so professional. She constantly was asking my opinion on shape or darkness and how I was feeling . When I went in for the touch up she took a different approach to ensure proper results and it came out wonderful. I have been flying to San Diego for a few years now just to see Dominic. He is everything you want to look for when looking for a tattoo artist. For one, he is an amazing artist. Second, he is a great person (easy going, positive energy and no ego). He goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy with what you want in your artwork. His shop is very clean. Got my first tattoo today by Dominic Vasquez and I am over-the-moon happy with it! The atmosphere at Battle Royale has a good energy (not at all intimidating like I once imagined tattoo parlors to be) within a comfortable space. I'm pretty sure Dominic was the best artist I could have had for a first tattoo, he has a fantastic energy about him. He spent a great deal of time answering all our questions, he gave me the rundown on everything from placement to the orientation of the tattoo ('selfish' tattoo that only I could read versus 'statement' tattoo that's positioned for the world's viewing pleasure) telling me the advantages and drawbacks of each. I had lettering done and the end result was sharper and cleaner than I imagined it could be; every line is pin straight and each curve is perfect (the instant I saw the finished piece in the mirror, I fell in a kind of love I never thought possible, just beautiful!) Cost was a tiny bit more than I had anticipated but I think it was more than fair for the great customer service and the beauty I walked away with. Highly recommend this cute location nestled in South Park. It's a homey little shop with pictures and designs of traditional full body pieces from the artists portfolio. Our artist Dominic Vasquez was patient with us as we honed in on our design. We decided on pretty simple bands symbolizing our family.
