Went in a few week ago to get tatted on my ribs. I thought it was going to be extremely painful because of the area but it was not whatsoever. Well I was looking for a new tattoo shop recently,  and came across tattoo madness.   So I made an appt and went on and met Sue, who is the one who did my ribcage tattoo.  Awesome, is all I can say.  She was patient and professional and her hand is so light I actually fell asleep while getting tattooed.   I was so pleased with her work, I'm going back tomorrow to get 2 more!  So if your looking for good work go to tattoo madness and ask for sue! Came into town for the day, had some time to kill and really wanted to get a tattoo... called around to a few shops in the area but didn't get an answer. Then I called Tattoo Madness... and was greeted by a pleasant voice on the other end of the line. I asked if anyone had time for a tattoo and was immediately booked by Sue. Upon arrival, I was guided upstairs to meet Sue and she was so friendly and professional. She invited me to sit down and asked me what I would like... I explained that I wanted my Husband's name on my outside lower part of my arm and she gave me some font options from her portfolio. Then she began to draw my future masterpiece. 15 minutes later, she had me seated in her chair and we began... the conversation between her and I flowed nicely and Sue made me completely comfortable. She gave me status all along the way and 2 hours later we were done. Very happy with the final product and she definitely earned what she charged me! What drew me to Sue Galvez at Tattoo Madness was her execution of original works by Chris Schelling, an outstanding artist who's also a mutual friend.  Sue tattooed two of his original drawings on the inside of each of his forearms.  They were his first and second tattoos.  When I saw the quality of Sue's work, I was motivated to finally get my first tattoo.  It's an idea I've thought about for 30 years so at age 54, it was imperative that I find the right tattoo artist that could transfer another artists unique vision while at the same time imbue their own technical expertise and unique artistic expression.  Sue delivered way above and beyond my expectations.  Not only did she do high quality work, her professionalism on how she approaches her craft and the welcoming, relaxed vibe of her space made for a very comfortable experience.  Whether it's your first tat or your body is covered, I would highly recommend to anyone interested in solid tattoo work, check out Sue Galvez at Tattoo Madness. I had a tattoo done by Edward he did a foot long octopus on me and charged me $800 I paid in the first two sessions which was very stupid I see now because my tattoo is now halfway finished and he's refusing to finish or give any money back! And his reason is he didn't like my personality. That should not be a reason for having bad business ethics! And when I tried to work something out with him he interrupted me constantly spoke over me and didn't consider the customer whatsoever. I just lost $400 for an unfinished tattoo I do not recommend Edward. Read Less

I am absolutely mad for Tattoo Madness! I got my first tattoo there on Friday, 2 / 21 / 14 and it was just such an incredible experience. Whether you're thinking about getting your first tattoo or your 23rd tattoo, I definitely recommend coming here and getting ink'd by Fly! He's the best. So lemme tell you more specifically about my experience (: The shop was very professional but at the same time, everyone was sooo friendly and the atmosphere was just very laid back and that really helped calm my nerves. The owner of the shop actually came up and talked to me for a little bit just making friendly conversation, telling me to make sure everything about my tattoo was how I wanted it and that everyone had my back. So yeah, the staff is very kind and sweet. The shop is sick! it's above a motorcycle shop called Motorcycle Madness. It's really clean and there's artwork everywhere, really creative looking. Obviously the tattoo did hurt but what really helped the time go by faster was the conversation between myself and Fly. He's such a funny, chill dude and we were literally just talking about random shit the whole time. I think it's really important to be at ease and not feel judgement from the person you're getting tattooed by. So yeah I completely fell in love with my tattoo the second I laid eyes on it. The detail was crazy and the outlining and colours were perfect. It was even better than the picture I showed him, and just such a beautiful tattoo for a great price. Thinking about representing for the culture with the Filipino tribal?? Not just any Filipino tribal, but that thick, filled in, detailed tribal is what I'm talking about. Talk to Dan!! I originally had another artist from another shop start on my chest piece but was not happy with the service.  Saw Dan's work on youtube and yelp of course and it was a done deal. Went to the shop and told him my situation and just went with the flow and outline. My chest/shoulder piece was completed in two sessions and at unbeatable price. The shop itself is relatively new in San Bruno are and is located on 2nd floor of a motorcycle shop. Although the shop is brand new, I know Dan's been tattooing for 15 years or so, so you know the experience is there. Marcus is the owner of both the tattoo and motorcycle shop which are in the same building was a pleasure to meet and talk to.
