Great place to get work done. I never thought I'd get myself feeling ink addicted but after getting my 3rd piece done, I've finally found my artist a Mr. Jesse Rooker, also a fellow rotorhead like myself. I believe it was Jeff, the owner, that I also met while we did my shoulder piece and he's a cool dude, makes you feel comfortable and able to BS with while you're under the needle. Everyone is approachable, professional, and just chill. I love the "Shop Rules" sign that specifically states "if you are: pregnant, drunk, stoned, dirty, smelly, ignorant, pain in the ass, or a rebel/resistance scum, please come back when you are not." My husband and i love Darkside. Not only is the place decked out in starwars theme (note the name of the tattoo shop) but the guys are super chill & know what they're doing. Jeff did my chest dermal 2 years ago and it was professionally done healed beautiful. Brandon does our tattoos and we loveeeeee the way they came out! Did not feel welcome. There where Four artist behind the counter and they all stared at me like elephant in the room. Until Tim approached the counter and ask me,how he could help. He was polite, professional. My daughter's got their ears pierced. Price was fair 30 dollars for both ears and included the jewlery. Navel is 20 dollars includes the jewelery as well. They do not carried a wide selection of jewelry. After the piercings Tim gave us instructions on how to take care of them. If it was not for Tim professionalism I would of given this place 1 star. Been here a few times and the guys that work here always make you feel welcomed and make sure you are comfortable. Guy ( cant remember his name but he was awesome) who did my nose ring was very professional and fast! He gave me after care instructions and I'm so happy with it. It healed up nice. Once I'm brave enough I will go back to do my tongue. Maybe haha. My husband and I also get our tattoos done here by Brandon. He has great vision and a light hand. We explained what we wanted and showed a few reference pictures and within a few min he was ready to go. Tattoos had so much detail and were just exquisite. We have gotten so many compliments. Brandon definitely takes his TIME to make sure you are happy with the finished product. Photos do not do his work justice. Going back for a cover up soon. Highly recommend this shop. just walked out of here. came in with my two sisters, we each got ear piercings. a tragus, forward helix, and lobes. tim was our piercer. he was friendly, courteous, and answered all of our questions and reassured us of any worries that we had. overall it was a great experience and we definitely will be back to see him again for any future piercings. I've been wanting to get my nose pierced for the longest time. A friend recommended me this place, explaining that they were quick & greatly priced. Got my nipples pierced there a couple of months ago. Piercer was great and his vibe was totally cool. Made me feel comfortable. I forgot my piercers name , but I walked in 2 hours before closing and got my conch pierced. The Piercer was friendly patient and sterile. I saw him open everything new and fresh and got to pick out my jewelry, which is an internally threaded labret. I also saw him put it in an autoclave. The price was very reasonable and I'll definitely go back. I deducted a star because I had went to the shop previously (before I got my conch) and got my tongue pierced . I had a different piercer and everything was sterile, but he did not ask if I liked the placement or let me see. I had no trouble with healing, just would've liked my tongue piercing placed more forward. Love this shop tho , will continue being a customer :) Read Less

I got my septum done by the piercer there and he did an awesome job. The only reason I'm giving them a 3 star is because it's so ugly in there they have old dirty couches the art on the wall is bad is not comfortable at all. Had an amazing experience here, I've had my belly button pierced 4 times now and although most people would just give up on having the piercing I was determined to get it done one last time. He said it was a little harder since I had so much scar tissue but the pain was completely bearable. The shop was super clean, they sterilize everything right in front of you and let you pick out the jewelry you want. I was prepared to spend $60 cause that's what I was quoted at a bunch of other shops, but here they only charged $20!!! The piercer marked where the piercing would go and let us approve it before he started. Got my belly pierced today and the guy that did it was awesome! I originally went in to get my nose pierced but then changed my mind last min because I was 100% sure if I would like the way it would look. I have gone here for piercings for years. Jeff had done all my piercings. There was a taller guy bald I believe and he did my dermal one day. I was a little scared to get them. He had prepped the tools and all but when it the process I was like I hope the pain isn't so bad. He did the piercing with no notice and said did that hurt? (Sarcastically) I was upset because that's rude. I always had someone give warning when they were going to insert the needle. If so have Jeff do it. He is fast and nice. how much is it for snake bites?? Gonna be going next week for them. I got my cheek piercings done there years ago. I have very fat cheeks and it was quick and easy. The pain was like a 4 out of 10. not bad at all. the piercer was very quiet so it felt kinda weird lol but other than that it was a good experience. by the way this is his big sister on his account. lol! My friends and I called to get our tongues pierced and we told them what time we'd be coming. Everything was fine until we got there, the man I assume the owner, said oh the piercer already left. We drove about 45 mins in terrible winds to get there and the guy was a total jerk. He cussed at me on the phone said "fu*k you" hung up on me when I simply asked if there was anything else he could do for us or if the piercer would be back or if another shop and NOTHING! Such a jerk and I wouldn't refer this place to anyone! Thankfully we found somewhere else with a much nicer and better piercer. Very disappointed. We called ahead of time to know hours because we were about 45 min away. Once we got there they told us the piercer had just left. We got there 50 min before closing. I took my wife to get a new tattoo was greated as soon as we walked in by friendly staff. The shop was clean and looked freshly painted. The artists were very helpful with designing her tattoo.
