I'm giving this place two stars a I would give it 1 if it wasn't for some of the friendly staff members. I got my nose pierced at this place just a regular nose piercing $40. I don't remember the guy's name but he was pretty chill throughout the process and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. My problem is with the way my piercing was done and the recommended after care of my piercing. After I waiting a few months I was able to change my piercing. I ended up going to a different shop for jewelry. I had asked the lady to help me put the piercing in because I was unable to take it out my self prior to going to her shop. The had to literally yank the piercing out of nose, and according to her the nose ring that was in was HUGE she even showed me a comparison to the rings at her shop and it was pretty thick. MY MAIN PROBLEM was when she had a hard time putting in the new piece. She sad that the piercer has pierced my nose in the wrong direction. Instead of piercing my nose with the needle pointing downward he pierced it with the needle going upward. I kept the new piece in for a month or two and then decided to let it close. The after care they recommended was to purchase this band aid antibacterial solution and to apply it with a cotton ball 2-3 times a day. Proper care should be recommending a saline solution (I believe it's called) it's just salt and warm water with a lint free pad. Disappointed. Read Less

Got a map of Europe with a compass done from @vexrone aka Carlos. Dude does great work. From what it seemed all the artist there don't think you could go wrong. Clean shop, good music. My wife and I have been using Joe for 10 years now, and won't use anyone else. Don't let his humble demeanor fool you. He is a VERY TALENTED ARTISTS. I have found that to get his best work don't tell him what to do. Bring in 5-6 pictures to him and tell him what you like about each one. He will mix it all up in his brain, pick up a pen and will create a masterpiece that far exceeds your expectations. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. Read Less

Carlos was the artist He changed the price on us and didn't tell us until after completion. He was late for both appointments. Shading was horribly done. I've asked other tattoo artists about what he did and they simply said what he did was a "shady move".This is what my man wanted vs what he got. The horse looks more like a dog or bunny.fail. I feel awful for giving this business 2 stars because the owner seems really cool. My issue was with the artist who tattooed me. He was very arrogant. Customer service was pretty shitty coming from him. He did okay work. But hey... you get what you pay for. I've been going to Rudy at coastal ink who charges over the top but quality of work is very pleasing. If I want something quick and easy.. id go to smaller shops... if I want something with color and specific detail... I'd go to Rudy. I may come back to this shop... but not to the artist. Five stars for Ivan, ZERO for Fabian. Ivan did mine, and it was awesome. He was polite, professional, listened and I ended up with a better tattoo than I had expected when I first figured out the design I wanted. He even gave me a great deal (so I left a bigger tip).My girlfriend on the other hand had an awful experience. We went together, so this is all on the same day. Fabian was dismissive and even rude, interrupting her condescendingly when she tried to explain what she wanted. Nobody mentioned price but he treated her like this was her first time and she had said something like "I only have X amount of money." Not once! He was unnecessarily rough and obviously didn't care about the finished product. The only time he hung around and even made eye contact was when she pulled out her wallet to pay him for the crappiest treatment she'd ever experienced at a tattoo shop.I'd leave one star if it were just for Fabian, but Ivan was SUPER AWESOME and you should still check this place out! I knew Ernesto when he was with Indian Ink with Kenny. Was very comfortable and confident in Ernesto and absolutely loved the tattoo i got and i know that Carlos does great work as well and cant wait to return back for another. Also EJ is their piercer and he is very comfortable to be around and makes u feel that safety is the number one priority and is very knowledgable with his position. He is doing my gauges. I came twice to get my nostrils pierced. It trips me out how they run their shop. Im pretty tattooed and pierced and have been to a handful of shops. So i guess you can say i have a firm grasp on shop etiquette as a client. We got no welcome, everyone just stared like we were bothering them, and it took a soild 15 min before some one acknowledge that we were standing there. I have been to this shop several times but always refused to get any work done because of how rude they are. The front desk is always a mess, i wish they had a front desk person that just delt with customers. I get that not everyone is a people person but at least have someone nice who can do all the paper work and welcome customers before that have to deal with these grumpy artists. All shops that ive been to previously have had a front desk person. I like my piercings but i wish i would of got them done else where. A place i felt more comfortable at and would want to keep giving my business to. Read Less

Awesome work, specifically by Carlos based upon personal experience. I am not a regular customer and I have no tattoo on my body except the brows.  After a nail spa esthectitian botched my brows touched up, I had a permanent facial expression. . Carlos was recommended.  He was kind, honest and cautious.  He took his time to draw prior to ensure alignment.  He was able to fix the work and enhance the brows.  Whew!!!  This is my face, Lord have mercy, and I  just could not imagine looking awkward longterm. I had my ink done by Joe Aspacio and he did an awesome job! I drove all the way down from SF because it's worth it! The shop gives a good impression because it is well lit and looks very clean.My ink healed and started the chafing phase in about 1 week and the result is awesome.
