No stars for flakes. pathetic. About 2 months ago I attended a Spaghetti fundraiser where I won a silent auction. The item I bid on was a $60 gift certificate for Art 4 Art Sake Tattoo. Awesome right?! WRONG.!! I don't live in the immediate area so I called and spoke to the shop owner, Rich. I told him I would be in the following day to go over the tattoo and placement. I showed up the following day to find the shop closed. When I called him he said he had an emergency with his kid and had to take him to the hospital. Okay, I understand, that's your kid and if he needs medical attention then u gotta handle your business. So I forgave him and set up another time and day for the appointment. Again, that day rolls around, I get out of work early and drive across town to get a tattoo. NOT! I get there and find the shop closed AGAIN... even though I have an appointment. ????? I call Rich AGAIN, this time he tells me he literally just got back to town and needs to reschedule me..... wtf?!?! The way I see it. You wasted my time not once but TWICE. If you didn't want to do a free $60 tattoo... you never should have given that gift certificate to a fundraiser. The ONLY reason I didn't demand my money back was because it was for a good cause. To make this RIGHT I feel RICH should make the same $60 contribution that I did to those kids because HE FLAKED OUT. You're just wrong on so many levels. Rich got skills! Super awesome and perfectly UNprofessional . My tat is AMAZING and I couldn't ask for better job. I just told him what I wanted and he came up with something dope as hell. I don't have that kind of imagination and needed someone who does. I initially was going to flake on Rich because I have another tat guy who is like half the price Rich charges, but I just trusted Rich to ink me up and I don't have that kind of trust with the other guy. It's not easy to find someone you can trust to permanently mark up your body but I found that in him. It honestly comes down to what you value more, quality or a price tag? For something permanently marked on your body I think quality should be the obvious choice! I'll be back for more work and if you're smart you'll give Rich a try too. Read Less

Any place where the owner carelessly leaves  marijuana sitting out on the counter in a tattoo shop... just fucking trashy. His portfolio is full of scratcher work. Heard him talking to another client about how he buys jewelry for 12 cents a piece, then sells them for $35-40 each. He is never at the shop during business hours. Glad I didn't go. Beware of this place. Any man that doesn't know how to run a business doesn't deserve one. Read Less

This shop is great - going to be a regular here fursure. Rich did my tattoo and was amazing. Really chill/laid back guy, great conversation, great personality; John at the front desk brought great atmosphere/great personality as well. Just good people! You don't always find that at tattoo parlors. & I'm very much so in love with my tattoo, better than I pictured for myself. The picture I posted doesn't even do it justice. They allow walk ins which is great! My friend got her tattoo right after me.I personally feel like his pricing is generous, especially considering the time he puts in with conversation and the tattoo. Sweet guy!Not to mention they allow kids! I have 2 little ones and idk what other tattoo shop would throw on paw patrol but they did, lol. Much appreciated. Came in today for Piercing Day and had a great experience. Richard did a awesome job with both my nose and daith piercings. His shop is clean and well organized. I will definitely be coming back for any future piercings and tattoos! Read Less

My tattoo turned out so well. This place is the bomb, this is my third tattoo from this shop. Will be heading for another after this one heal, He even help redo a tattoo I had got way earlier from somewhere else and made it 10 times better. This is the BEST PLACE TO GO,!! Thank you Richard.!! I have gotten several tattoos here..all of them awesome. Rich is truly a great Tattto artist and comes up with great designs. He is also a really good, down to earth person. I had been looking for a tatto shop to call home and I found it. Shop is clean, all artists There are really good and nice. Shop is clean and prices are reasonable! Great place! Read Less

I give them 5 stars for their charity work and for the amazing work on their page. They agreed to donate for our silent auction for missing children and gave us $100 just out of the goodness of their heart. I've had my share of bad tattoos, I'll be coming here from now on. I'm impressed with the level of talent I see here and I'll be sharing their name with everyone who asks me where to get tattoos or piercings. Read Less

Rich is awesome! I love his attitude and he always makes people laugh and feel comfortable. He has done two of my tattoos one being apart of a healing process for me and Rich was so supportive through it all and I will always be grateful for that. He Rocks! Richard is a bad ass artist, with a great sense of humour who is great at what he does. He tattooed my hand which I was a little leery about, but he did it quick and clean, and it looks fantastic. He did two tattoos, one for me and my roommate for a great price and they both look awesome. We had a blast the entire time and we highly recommend his shop. I'll be going back to have him finish an old piece I started two years ago, which for the longest time I couldn't find an artist to touch. Thank you Art for Arts sake!!!! Read Less
