Marcos killed it! After wanting my phoenix for 10 years, Marcos made it come to life. After a few texts and a quick consultation, he designed the main part of the bird and gave me a price range depending on the amount of time it would take to tattoo it. First session came, he did the main part of the bird with the transfer paper and then hand drew all the long tail feathers.  He was able to complete the full outline in one sitting, almost 5 hours.  I was blown away already with how the outline looked and wanted to complete the whole tattoo as soon as possible. Two weeks later, I came back and Marcos completed the rest of the phoenix with its shading, another 4 hours straight. I must say the completed phoenix looks beyond sick! Definitely a masterpiece from Marcos I am happy to have on me the rest of my life. I appreciated that after both sessions, he also covered the entire tattoo with second skin for quick clean healing.  In the end, the price range Marcos gave me in the beginning was pretty accurate and in my opinion very fair for the amount of work and effort put into my tattoo. Overall I was really pleased with my experience at The Studio Tattoos. Not only was Marcos amazing, but all of the artists were friendly and welcoming. Going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable throughout my long appointments.  The actual studio itself was a clean, organized, and had relaxing atmosphere.  I highly recommend if you are looking for an artist and shop to hit up Marcos from The Studio Tattoos. What am amazing experience for my first tattoo!! Jacob is so talented and took the sub par details/wishes I gave him and created something simply beautiful and completely unique to me. He took his time making sure everything was perfect and kindly walked me through the first few minutes of the tattoo so I wouldnt be nervous. This place is amazing! Everyone here is so nice and relaxed. I worked with Jacob, he gave me such a beautiful tattoo of the Dr. Seuss Truffula Tree. I have been wanting this tattoo forever, and he really made it come to life. He added stunning watercolor and tiny scratchy lines just like the original artwork. Took my daughter in for her first piercing. They acknowledged me when I walked in and were friendly. Had an appointment with Jacob. Very informative and kind. Walked her through the piercing and made us feel comfortable. Clean and sterile environment. Will go back and recommend to every one. We had went to DV8 first and had the worst customer service. This is the place to go if you're looking to get your first or next tattoo and I'll tell you why in a moment but just know that you can stop your search here. There are lots of tattoo shops in the area so narrowing down which one I liked the reviews on was hard, but this one seemed the least intimidating so I went ahead and made an appointment. I got my first tattoo, nothing really extravagant just some small black outlines on the inside of my ankle. I made my appointment with Dax, who was super sweet and professional about the whole thing and because this was my first tattoo she walked me through the process of everything which was reassuring to me. I would highly highly recommend her to anyone getting their first tattoo and even to anyone getting a second, third, etc tattoo because she's super talented at what she does. The shop itself was clean and professional and pretty relaxed all around. I planned on going by myself so as a 5'1" female it was important to me to chose a place that wasn't going to be intimidating. They had some incredible artwork from the artists up for sale which I thought was a pretty cool way of advertising a) artwork and b) artists' talent. It was raining the day I went so I'm not sure if that had an impact on how busy it was but the shop wasn't crowded. They had plenty of open floor space too. I'm sure all of the artists are incredibly talented, but Dax is my personal recommendation and I'll definitely be making a second appointment for my second tattoo in the future! Read Less

I held off on reviewing a long time, but after I was asked about my experience, it is time to post. Based upon the first piercing experience I would have given five stars. They did a wonderful job on my piercing and the gentleman was wonderful. My second experience however, my wrist tattoo, would have earned one star. Here's why: I had no idea anything was wrong until the ink was already in process, at which point the tattooist mentions he had been bit that day on his inking ...hand by his dog, and was on someone else's prescription painkillers. I truly regret not telling him to stop half way and demand to see someone in charge. I had noticed a bandage on his hand but did t think anything until then. Not only was this an absolute sanitary concern, but the ink was incredibly unprofessional looking. I have been told since that I have a few years at best of it being legible because the letters are so close together. I would not recommend this place for tattoo work, and am extremely surprised by the unprofessional nature of the artist. See More Read Less

I had Dax do my water color wrist tattoo and it turned out amazing! She was so sweet and patient with me :) It was my first tattoo so I was really nervous, but Dax was so amazing. Ive gotten my 3rd tattoo by Shaina yesterday and its just as gorgeous as ever! Shes great at seeing the ideas in my head and putting it on paper, or better yet, on skin. I'm sorry this review didn't come until over a year after my experience, but better late than never! I had a sun/moon pair put one my shoulders by the lovely miss Blue in October of 2015, two weeks before my wedding. I brought some inspiration with me, but I was delighted by the final design she drew me when I let her have artistic license. She was even better when she was actually tattooing me...sweet, caring, informative and a ton of fun! The shop was large, clean and quiet. There was plenty of parking and the staff was great. I love this studio! Very friendly & easy going staff. I've been progressively working with Dax since last April to get a half sleeve/cover-up done and she has been patient & enthusiastic about all of our sessions. She has always been accommodating with scheduling my appointments which means a great deal to me b/c I don't live in the local area any longer & often times, I'm only around for a week or two when I do come back to visit. I went in today for my first piercings (industrial and nose). My piercer was Dax and she was absolutely amazing. She talked me through the whole process and made me feel super comfortable. She also went above and beyond when my moms car wouldn't start when we went to leave. She went to four businesses to figure out whose car was parked next to us to see if they would move so she could park there to jump out car.
