Mike is the best!!!! I came to him with an unusual idea, and he knocked it out of the park. He is a true artist, and a genuinely nice guy as well. I called a day ahead to make an appointment and I asked for 12:00 noon. The guy asked if we could come in earlier at 10:00 a.m. and I said we could. I was driving from the high desert about an hour away so we got up early and made it to the shop by 10:00 like we were told. No one was there and no one ever showed up! SERIOUSLY!!! There was one guy there who was an apprentice that tried to get a hold of someone but said that no one was coming until 11:30 or so (maybe). Super unprofessional shop and would never recommend them. He did you a favor by doing roman numerals for you. Its not his fault .You approved of the wrong dates (design) before he tattooed you. I offered to have have it removed for you. You say I treat people different, well obviously you don't know me at all. But we all can't make everyone happy in this world , believe me I tried with you. No matter what I did for you , you were going nit pick it. But you weren't saying anything bad about the tattoo, when You were receiving it for free. I do remember you praising me for a job well done. And I told you I wasn't finished untill we do a second session. Good luck with that now. Please be aware , first time I came in I had simple birth dates on both of my shoulders the artist changed the dates I didn't no he made the mistake and after printing I didn't see , I was confident I was getting what I had verified the first time but boy was I wrong I called owner he immediately treated me as if it was my fault! Had me come in and honestly made it worse adding hearts and,infinity signs too make it ( better ) I told him I didn't like it he said come in when it heals I will retouch but too this day that day never came, he told,me as a compensation he would hook me up with my sleeve so I told him I wanted an angel with blue eyes instead I got an angel that looks black with dark dark eyes His,hands,look so ghetto it's a 3rd fail I have been sending messages like crazy but he refuses too get back too me so now I'm taking his business too small claims no 1 deserves this treatment I'm making a public experience so you can be aware how he deals with these situations they call them selves the best but from what I got that if bs I have pics too prove my statement what i have learned is he works on the homies gives all he's got but if u a perfect stranger u don't get 100% effort he may be a chingon a bad was artist but that's not enough too win people n the way he went about my situation is wrong in so many ways !!!! Wow I can't say enough good things about about this shop and especially Joel. My fiancé and I came in last week to get a consultation on a coverup on his arm that he's been wanting to get done for 6 years. He helped us right away and gave my fiancé an appointment for the next week. Everyone in the shop to the owner, the artists and apprentices were super friendly. Being in the service industry ourselves we always appreciate good customer service. And the shop itself is a very cool environment and is very very clean. Joel worked on my fiancé for 8 hours and man did he do work! From the coverup to the shading, it was all amazing! Well this review will start off with a 1 star; if written after my initial experience. I went here and set an appointment for a Sunday at 11 am. I arrived about 10:30 am. My artist never showed up. He never answered his phone I was livid. I did my part. I left a deposit, set an appointment, arrived and he didn't. Such a bad experience. I was ready to get my deposit back and another artist came. He saved the day. I guess it was Superman without the cape on. TREVOR IS HIS NAME, GETTING IT RIGHT IS HIS GAME! He didn't defend the other artist, didn't try to make up some lame story, he simply said I can help you if you give me the opportunity to do so. He was willing to squeeze me in that day and stay longer if need be. Either way I set the appointment, he added his flavor to the design, and the artwork is flawless. Maybe a tad bit more shading than I wanted but overall great. He showed up a week later on time and took care of me. The owner was there and he is involved in the process. It was a great experience. Me and the girls came to The Madd Tatterz tattoo shop on my daughter's 18th Birthday to get matching tattoo's and Trevor was our artist.  Not only was he friendly and professional but he made our 2 first timers feel not so scared with his charming personality.  In fact, we are all planning out our next tattoo's and bringing some newbies with us.  We gave Trevor an idea of what we wanted and he created something even better and really listened to what we wanted.  The parlor is very clean and in a nice location with plenty of parking. I got my first tattoo yesterday 6/22/17, it was pretty big for my first tattoo (upper half of my back). Joel did it for me and he made my experience perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better day. I was comfortable with everything and everyone was extremely nice. The shop was clean and I was happy with the set up. Being a nurse cleanliness and sanitary practices are important to me. But most importantly I felt that Joel was very caring and made sure throughout the whole day that I was comfortable and doing ok, which I was. I think I want more! I was tattooed by tyler and he was so hard to get a hold of that i almost gave up for the touch up. I have been wanting to get a tattoo done for many years. But, I was def in no rush to get it done until I felt 1000000%  positive about the artist. I have a friend who is beautifully tatted up from head (neck) to toes.  I've always thought his tatts were beyond amazing. Done so right!  One day when I was ready to get tatts done, I asked him where he got his done & the rest was history. He linked me up to Alfred, who is also the owner of Madd Tatterz.Just from communicating w/ him over the phone, I felt confident with having him working on me.I felt ensured he knew what I wanted & it was certain he'd do a great job.After meeting up with him in person, I was that much more certain he was the one who I'd let do my tattoo'ing. The shop was inviting, bright, super clean, spacious, & well designed w/ many unique art pieces he collected from his colleagues.He talked to me patiently, asked questions to get to know me & what I wanted. He threw in helpful ideas as well. I knew I was on good hands.I waited eagerly until the day of my appt.Before starting, I waited at the seating area provided as u enter the shop.I saw him cleaning, disinfecting, wrapping everything. Double checking everything was perfect at the station before I went in.His huge parlor is bright & very well lit throughout the entire two part building. It's all open area, everyone sees everyone/thing ...so it's not creepy at all.He went straight to work using the newest machines & his top of the line "tools(?)". From the moment you walk in til' the moment you walk out, you feel comfortable & confident.I went in for a Religious Tattoo & came out with that tattoo and then some!  He did such nice work, I had to add to it at that same visit!I let Alfred do his thing. I knew he knew best! From sizing, to placement, to style. I could not have been more pleased.There were other ppl getting tattoos done and everyone that walked by totally had an awesome tatt job done.Don't even worry which artist is going to work on you while you're at Madd Tatterz because ALL their skills are way up there! I got my whole tattoo(s) done in one sitting, about 5hrs.I mean ...I did take it like a champ too! This would have taken other artists the same amount of time just for less than 1/2 of what I got done.  Even w/ out having the spectacular details I got.I received many compliments about the details of the piece(s) & I could not be more confident & excited to send them this way.They all put in work quickly, carefully, efficiently, safely, and the best part is that the price is so right!!
