Took my wife in about a month ago to get her nose pierced. Called in and was told they were open till 9pm and had someone available. Based on some reviews I've read I thought we would have a long wait time, well that wasn't the case for me. We waited about 5 mins from the time we got there to get taken I.. This shop is a huge disappointment. I have been in the industry for 9 years now. I recently moved to Riverside after having my son and made a HUGE mistake walking into this shop today. If I even had a chance to look the the books of these pretentious artists I wouldn't. My friend and I needed a new nose ring and tongue ring. They charged us $30 for the 2 pieces of jewelry. If anyone has ever had a nose ring knows its damn near impossible to put it in yourself with no piercing experience we had to go into the shop 2 times to ask them  to help us because my friend was crying while I tried to push it in. What kind of peircer shrugs his shoulder grossed out? I have been in over 300 shops from California to Texas to Florida. Shameful. Read Less

I was a walk in and got my cartilage piercing on one ear. They attended me really quickly and even though it was a bit packed it went by really fast and it was a really easy process. Was recommended to this place for my baby's ear piercing and specifically Zeita. The shop was clean, receptionist was friendly. I can't say enough about how good Zeita was. I was so nervous about piercing my baby but she was so professional and nice and understanding and did an excellent job putting me at ease. I will definitely be coming back when I decide to get another piercing. I got my cartilage/helix done here which is the first piercing I've gotten since I was a baby and got my lobes done. Zeita made it quick and did show me where she was gonna place it first for my approval. I did have a little breakdown regarding my piercing because they do pierce it with a bar thing (not a butterfly back) and it stuck out on me so much because I'm tiny. But after talking to the store owner Martha, she comforted me and explained why they use that piercing so it can heal more safely and not get swollen. I got my tragus done by Zeita a week ago. She's professional, kind, and sanitary, my only complaint is that my piercing is crooked. It doesn't look bad from the outside, but when I clean it I can feel how the back of the bar doesn't rest flat inside. I been here numerous times. Now a lot of reasons why I hate this shop, I should of went to other tattoo places but I didn't. So I live close to this place so why not. I always got one guy his name is (Vaughn) he's the most rudest and worst tattoo artist you can go to. The staff is also super trash and rude I remember like two different times and no hello or anything just rude! All the people that do tattoos are super rude as heck no class, besides from this all the place sucks it's so small, chairs are horrible, waiting room is bad. Everything! Now about Vaughn man this guy is so trash he will take breaks and breaks when he's not even tattooing you for a while, he even smokes weed! Wth?! And tattoos you yes he does. He rips you off, doesn't put more details or anything he will try to charge you more, just I argued with this douche bag multiple times I just got tired and did my last tattoo from him. I finally found my tattoo home. All of the artists do great work but I found Sam. He is absolutely amazing at what he does. I will be having all my work done by him from now on. He is a true artist. In all my tattoo experiences I have cried, passed out, had some areas scab up really really bad, and just been miserable. Sam makes my experience fun and much more comfortable. I sat through 5 hours of shading which normally I would have felt like passing out at the end or broke down from the pain. Not with him as he is not too heavy handed. He also offers a covering called Saniderm which is like a second skin for larger pieces. As I said before my tattoos have never healed very well. The only ones that have, have been his. He is funny and talkative and plays great music. Not only will your tattoo come out amazing if you see him, but you will have a great time as well. I've been wanting a small diamond pierce on my nose for 40 years. I finally worked up the courage to walk in. I got a diamond piercing from Zeita and she was so gentle! Javie is amazing. I came in earlier today pretty upset about the conch piercing I got yesterday and how the girl at a different parlor didn't really listen to what I wanted, and put a stud that was huge in it, and Javie also informed me that the guage was too small and the piercing wasn't really in the right spot to eventually wear a hoop in the conch piercing. He gave me so much information about what to do so that I can get it changed out in 4 weeks, as well as what jewelery to buy for it since it's not the regular conch piercing guage (it's 18 guage, which is the same as a regular lobe piercing). He talked me off a ledge of taking it out and putting a different piercing in it myself, haha. I'll definitely be back in 4 weeks to have him swap my earring out! Read Less

Update: I've had extensive work done by Mike (@michaeljohnson_94) and I am always pleased when he's done. He did a half sleeve-half chest Japanese cover up piece (pictures) and I absolutely love it. He knocked it out in a couple sessions while being priced extremely reasonably. Funny guy to talk to during the session as well. Highly recommend him. This is easily one of the best shops in the area. With numerous artists and piercers, any style tattoo or piercing you could want, they will do a good job with it. Went for Friday the 13th tattoos with my boyfriend and best friend. Waited for almost 4 hours for one tat but I'm not mad about that at all.  A single tattoo was 20 bucks.  Only thing that had me alil disappointed was the selection of tattoos. Here you could only get one and only black period. I went to dreams in ink after and i was able to get add many tattoos as i wanted for 20 bucks each and with the option of color for free. I will be going too dreams in ink for every Friday the 13th for now on. But on the bright side they did have a very nice shop. Very big and they have had alot of artists that work there. The double helix went ok and I felt very little pain. Then, when she began to pierce my tragus, I felt the worst pain of my life. It took her about 5 minutes to get the bar through the hole!! I've never been to this place before and I saw that they close at 9pm. I arrived at round 8:10. The open sign was flashing but the doors were locked. I called and knocked a few good times and got ignored. As I left I turned around and saw someone come to the counter and walked away. I went right back and knocked and called and still got ignored. Wouldn't know if they accepted walk ins or not if they answered the phone. All I wanted was a piercing which would only take 10minutes. Never coming back here. I've gotten my nose pierced there twice, (because I took the first one out for a MRI and it closed), also got my nipple piercings done there and it's awesome there. I got both of my daith's pierced by Javie last week. It was very fast and he made me feel very comfortable. I was terrified but he talked me through it. I cried when I got the basic ear piercings done (very low pain tolerance lol), but these just made me flinch! I got them done to help with migraines, and it's definitely working!I don't really get tattoos and piercings like some people do, but I will definitely be coming back here if I decide to. It was quick (no appointment, but was taken in right away). He explained everything and I left without any questions. He also gave me his number to text him if anything were to happen. Came in with my friend for walk in tattoos and Sam messed both of our tattoos up. I asked for a cross on my back and it came out crooked and smaller than my pinky. My friend wanted a flamingo in pink ink and Sam disregarded his request and did it in black ink anyways. When I went back to get it fixed, because I was told it would be fixed for free, I was told he couldn't make it much bigger because then it wouldn't look like a cross. He said he'd charge me another $60 to make it just a little bit bigger or free to "touch it up". Why would I want a shitty tattoo redone exactly the same way. I took the minute drive to go to Evolve Tattoo instead and have them fix it instead. $50 later and I love it. Only come here if you're willing to pay more money to get a shitty tattoo covered up later on. Read Less

I went in for a daith piercing for migraine relief. Other than getting my ears pierced as a kid and double pierced as a teen, I don't have any experience with piercings or tattoos (so, I don't have any experience!).I went to Mission Tattoo based on the reviews and I was not disappointed.I immediately felt comfortable when I walked in the door. I was greeted in a friendly and kind manner. We talked about what I wanted and what I could expect. I was a little worried of feeling silly walking in as naive as I am and as old as I am (I'm 43). I didn't really know what questions I should ask. Nick sensed that, I think, and just answered the questions I should've asked. He is obviously very knowledgeable and takes pride in what he does. Any thoughts I had of feeling awkward quickly went away.When I was brought into the room for the actual piercing, it was exceptionally clean and orderly. I never had a moment's worry about  instruments being sanitary and sterile. Nick made me as comfortable as I could be by explaining what he was doing in just enough, but not too much, detail.I was given clear instructions for home care and the added assurance that I could contact him with any questions or concerns.I went back in 4 weeks and received the same great care when Nick changed my jewelry. He remembered me and asked about my migraines.I'm happy to report that even now, 3 months later, it seems the daith piercing has really helped with my headaches. I got my tragus pierced a month ago at this spot with my friend. The guy who pierced us knew what he was doing and made sure we were happy with the location of the piercing before he did it. My friend went first and was freaking out, lol, but I'm good with needles in my body so the process went very smoothly for me.After the piercing, he made sure to tell us the aftercare and cleaning process. Now a month later, my piercing is kind of acting up, but he lets you text him so I texted him a picture and a description of my problem and he got back to me right away. He alleviated my concerns and told me further instructions of how to take care of it properly.Now that I've gotten my tragus pierced here, and it didn't hurt at all, I'm definitely going to be coming back to this place again to get more ear piercings.
