I decided to get some ink done as an early Christmas gift, so I went in and checked out their shop. Everyone there was really friendly and welcoming. I talked to Bobby and made an appointment with him. I went in a week later to get my tattoos done. From the moment I walked into the shop, he was very nice and explained the whole procedure to me. I can't be more ecstatic and lucky to have found Elizabeth Street Tattoo and get tattooed by Zach Peacock. This was my first tattoo and so I had a range of emotions but Zach put all my doubts to rest and his professionalism and expertise assured me that I was in good hands. First off, Zach is surely a brilliant artist with great creativity and ideas. I came in with a general idea of a simple tattoo and he transformed it into a masterpiece that totally caught me off guard because I was not expecting such a great idea of a tattoo. He knew exactly how to make the Roman numerals connect with the specific flower I wanted so it didn't just look like 2 separate entities. Pricing: on point because you are paying for something permanent on your body and you shouldn't mind paying your tattoo artist what they deserve (I tipped 33% because he is the sh*t and went above and beyond)Process:1. $100 deposit first, in person, then Zach took notes and measurements of design and placement and set a date2. Day of the tattoo, showed me the design. I was prepared to nitpick and ensure that the design was what I wanted but was so blown away on how perfect it was I did not have to ask for any changes. However, Zach is totally open to making changes if you are not okay with the design and he will take the time to make sure you're good before he puts it on you. 2 1/2. Ink into skin: the whole process was as great as it gets lol. If Zach wasn't a tattoo artist he should be a comedian cause he is funny as hell and made getting a tattoo fun and kept your mind off the pain. Although it was hard not to laugh so I could keep from moving haha. I brought 2 friends and he was more than welcome to accommodate them in his office. ALRIGHT YELPERS. I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with this place and the people that work here. I knew I wanted a tattoo, and I was actually referenced here by a friend who got her tattoos by Bobby. So I visited a couple times and emailed him, each time he was very kind and patient. I also love how the place is set up! It's very clean, and each artist has their own space with all their art in the room. It's really awesome and the seperate rooms (That have windows) help calm the nerves for a first tattoo. Anyways,  I got my first tattoo after months of planning, research, and a few visits. I didn't think I would actually do it, but Bobby helped make me feel comfortable. And I am SUPER happy with the design:) he helped me design the turtle and it turned out beautiful,  symmetrical, and exactly what I was hoping for!  He checked in on me throughout the process, and (something I am really thankful for) he was very light handed! I think that really helped me bear the pain (since I got it on my foot). Because of that, I  barely felt pain, and what I did feel was super managable. I'm going back for 2 more in about a week. It's been about 2 weeks since I got this turtle, and it's been healing great! No after pain, no irritation,  no infection :). Went here for a cover-up tattoo. A lot of tattoo artists don't want to get into that for various reasons. I get it, there's a lot of work involved and it's not easy. Everyone in this shop (even the clients) make you feel comfortable here. The atmosphere is very clean and welcoming. It was definitely good for soothing my nervousness. I got my first mid-sized tattoo done here yesterday (also my first tattoo at all). Prior to that, I checked to see if my artist Zach Peacock was free. Zach specializes in black work designs. We met in the shop and talked about how I wanted my design done. He was very professional and was understanding of my frequent questions. As I was giving specifications, he jotted down notes and even sketched something out (which already looked good!). He gave me a very fair price quote and we were able to schedule the tattoo appointment for the next day. The whole tattooing process was very clean. Zach is very friendly and good at holding a conversation and made the time fly. He's proud of his work, as you can see some of it on his wall and in his portfolio book. Mike McAskill is one of the nicest people, who also happens to be a talented artist. Leading up to the day of my tattoo, he answered all of my MANY questions without giving me any attitude. He showed me and my wife nothing but kindness and respect. Mike is not heavy handed and I could have easily sat for the fourish hours without taking a break. He also made sure we made it to our vehicles safely when I was done. My tattoo is so beautiful and the positive experience makes me love it even more. Sarai gave me a GORGEOUS tattoo! I will never go to another artist again. This was my 5th tattoo and it's by far my favorite tattoo and it was my best experience with an artist. I drove 1.5 hours and set the appointment up 3 months out and it was 10000% worth it. Her work is so beautiful, and she is so kind and welcoming. I was a bit nervous because I have panic disorder, and it had been a while since I got tatted. But Sarai was so nice and made me feel so comfortable, all my anxiety went out the window. My friend came with and we all had a good time just talking and laughing, which took my mind off the pain. I gave her references for what I wanted but Sarai blew my expectations out of the water. She did a super cute tattoo of my dog who passed away sitting in a sailboat, sailing into the sunset with stars and moon coming in. I wasn't expecting it to look like my dog, but it is a spitting image of him. I'm blown away at how much it looks like him and every time I look at my arm, it's like I'm looking at a photograph. I have been visiting Tommy Towne for my piercings for some time now. I was recommended to him through a tattoo artist and have been coming to him ever since. After coming to him, I can honestly say that I will never visit with anyone else. Not only is he professional, but he is the cleanest piercer I've gone to. Tommy has not done all of my piercings, but the piercings he has done have never given me issues. I have never experienced infections and have always had a smooth transition when it comes to healing. My best friend had introduced me to Sarai and her work and I fell in love. I am more than happy with what Sarai has done so far to my arm. She is an incredibly talented artist who's also extremely sweet and makes me feel like we've been friends for years. I always feel so welcomed and comfortable around her. I got TWO tattoos in ONE 6-7 hour session; one pokemon sundae tattoo and one Final Fantasy 8 inspired one. That's a lot of tattooing for me, and this was the longest I've ever sat for a tattoo so I was definitely nervous. But Sarai was *amazing*. She was so friendly and wonderful to be around, and the entire experience was a breeze. I was in a different stall than her usual, so I couldn't see the wonderful magical-girl decor that normally adorns her space, but it was still very clean and comforting to be in. Her artwork is also top notch and she has such amazing skill with colors. The lines came out clean, nothing was blotchy, and it was one of my more painless tattoo experiences.
