My new go to shop for all my tattoos! I have since become friends with the lovely redhead here by the name of Jessica who is an artist I would highly recommend! I've had two of my 13 tattoos done by her and the second one was even better than the first! Like any great tattoo artist Jessica's craft has improved in the short time since our last appointment and now that she knows how my skin reacts (since I'm a darker skin tone) my second piece really stands out and has led to people stopping me to ask who my artist is. I got my belly button pierced here when I was sixteen. First of all, piercing was crooked. Second they gave me too little advise and what they did tell me was wrong and made it so the healing process was felt terrible and was nearly impossible. They said to turn the naval piercing and move it around, but that is like constantly picking a scab and never letting it heal. Good thing I didn't get this advise and a septum piercing because it would of wore down my interior nose skin and really hurt my nose. They also said to use antibacterial soap or saline solution to clean it, saline solution is perfect, but the soap can be way to harsh so a fresh piercing. After having the piercing for 7 months, it was no where near healed and hurt, so I ended up taking it out. It was a HUGE waste of a lot of money. Read Less

Bought a gift certificate for a piercing for my daughter. I took her in with her birth certificate and they turned us away bcus they don't pierce minors under 16. They said it's a "DHS law"Well I'd appreciate you telling me the truth up front. DHS does not have that law. In fact, if that's your policy great! Just don't lie about it and try to make it sound like it's the Health Department rule. I'm giving them 1 Star bcus they lied to my face and told me I can take her in with a birth certificate and then when they found out she was 15 they said DHS required her to be 16. DHS will definitely pay you a visit just to clear things up with you. Read Less

I came to Julie roughly 10 years ago to get my second tattoo. She is amazingly good. I regret not coming to her for my first! I will continue to come here for as long as Julie keeps doing what she does (which is GREAT FREAKING WORK!!). To any that have had a bad experience, I ask this: Why did you have a bad experience? I know it wasn't because of Julie (or any of the great artists here), they are all awesome at what they do and know their stuff. I've been coming here for 15+ years. Got a tat on one trip and piercings on other trips. The piercing guy is light-handed, gentle, down to Earth, and professional. I got 2 tragus piercings last 2 trips and didn't feel either! Pro!Tat Kat, no longer there, was a light-handed pro tattoo artist who was also friendly and down to Earth.Great & fair prices!The downside is jewelry selection. They never have any choices. None. It's either a Barbell or hoop, but are usually out of hoops when I've gone. They could use a nice jewelry case with choices! Please get one because I would love to shop locally for my jewelry without driving 45 minutes away to this other shop that freaks out every time you touch your jewelry who also refuses to touch your jewelry if you didn't buy it from them.Stay cool! :-) Read Less

Came to get my ear pierced it was fast and easy after searching so long for a piercing shop this was the right one their prices are great the shop is nice and clean the staff is friendly I just loved it here! I wish I could give them no stars at all. This was a while back, we went there to get a small tattoo for our friend as a gift. It was a very small tattoo, a little 3 lined triangle. The guy that was consulting us, I unfortunately forgot his name, was a young guy in his mid 20s with dark hair and a hat. I want to be very discriptive of him as he is an absolute CON! He quoted us 50 dollars for the simple triangle which we were fine with. We asked if he could add 2 letters to it and he said that this will cost an extra 20, which we agreed to as well. Once he finished the tattoo, we noticed that he added another triangle without our knowledge. I was shocked, he tattooed our friend and did not asked him if he even wanted that, this tattoo took 5 minutes and was on his ankle, our friend could not see what he was doing, as he was laying on the chair to his side. And he also did not add the letters!!! And then charged us $130 instead of $70 !!!! I asked him why and he said it was much bigger than anticipated and that he added lines to it. Are you kidding me? How can someone be so unethical? So don't go there, horrible dishonest untalented people, they were talking so much smack about other artists too and acted as if they are the coolest people ever, disgusting. To the old hag with the blond hair and her partner, as well as our tattoo "artist" that little Blink182 wannabe, you are a bunch of unethical assholes, I hope you go bankrupt from your dishonest practices! This place is great. Craig, Julie and Shawn are all really nice and talented artists. My husband has gotten several tattoos here and my daughter and I did too this year. Craig did all of ours and he is very professional. I appreciate that he knows what he is doing and is very confident and happy doing his job. I've been coming here for about 5 years now. Craig has covered and fixed all of my at home tattoo shit work. The atmosphere is great. There is only 2 artists Craig and Julie. And its not a hang out spot so it's nice. The quality of work from Craig is amazing. I still have a lot of work to be completed but it's worth every single penny. Cleanliness is a 10/10 comfort is 10/10. All in all I drive the distance to get my work from craig. And my wife also goes to Craig. John A: dude you sound like a disgruntled ex employee. This place has been around forever. I've got work that was done in this shop that's 20 years old and still looks great. I've also got a piece from Julie that is 8 years old and looks awesome. Don't be mad because they were busy and didn't jump through hoops for you. They are actually pretty attentive to their customers. The shop is clean and no ones stoned out of their mind. Try getting anywhere close to this anywhere else within 100 miles.. Good luck!! The joint's clean and the prices are fair. I've been here several times over the years, and they always have good people staffing the place. I got my first ever tattoo here, and when I started to faint they were on the ball - smelling salts handy, water provided, excellent "bedside manner." Their prices seemed fair/competitive, and for tattoos included a touchup two weeks later (though, I got a cold and it swelled back up again, making it a month later for me).They're available over the phone for help & "troubleshooting." Once I stepped in, everyone had some sort of ego attitude like they are the best. snappy, agro responses, snotty replies and lots of profanity.
