This is seriously one of the cleanest, nicest shops I've been in. All the guys that work here are really nice and make you feel comfortable, and they do fantastic work. My husband and I have both been here multiple times to get work done by Brian and he's super talented and just a great guy. Unfortunately today I have to give rendition a one star I've had all of my artwork accept for one piece done by Josh, who is might I say amazing, But I was supposed to have a piece done by Robert today and he drew up a sketch that I liked everything about it but the detail of the eyebrows and nose and wanted to see what just slight alterations to it would look like. And he refused. Told me its a complete sketch that he saw nothing wrong with and didn't want to tweak it even a... bit. I'm just a little disappointed with the customer service seeing that since I'm a paying client, paying for a piece of artwork, to be put on my body how I'd like​. I felt it was very unprofessional how Robert wouldn't even attempt to erase an eyebrow to see if could make a difference. Rendition is a clean, well kept shop. The guys are friendly and personable. They are welcoming and patiently answer questions, and I had a few as this is where I came for my first tattoo. They even go above and beyond and do fundraisers to raise money, toys or sports equipment for locals in need. Jake is amazing. I came in knowing how I wanted my tattoo to look like and when I show him the exact font I wanted to be used he told me he could make it look so much nicer. I watched him draw it out and it was perfect. He talked me through the whole pain process and constantly checked up on me while I was getting mine done. I chose to get my first tattoo at Rendition after seeing all the positive Yelp reviews and looking around on their Instagram. This shop is very laidback and welcoming; I had been worried that I would feel out of place or looked down upon for not already having tattoos, but everyone here is friendly and chill. Brian was my tattoo artist, and he does really great work. I was very quiet through the whole appointment but Brian never made me feel awkward or weird. He took my rather vague instructions (pink rose, no leaves) and made it into something far more beautiful than I could have imagined. I'm damn sure I'm a good person and I know I don't have a bad bone in my body. But I will share and post this so it doesn't happen to people that spend a LOT of money into people like Brian Seghers. The tattoo on the LEFT is my tattoo, it's my idea, it's my vision and it's what I paid for. It has meaning behind it! Instead of traditional love birds I wanted something different I wanted it to represent the different type of love my husband and I have. This picture was the first session never went back due to my spouse feelings about the artist and shop, ( no greeting for a returning customer and potential future customer ) which now I'm glad it happend because this fool is not a true artist. It's obvious it's all about the money and fame not the loyalty of a business owner and more about a so-called artist who is trying really hard to swallow the city of Redlands for his own gain. If you look closely to his work 90% of it is the same style on his customers there is no originality. The tattoo on the RIGHT is my vision, my idea on his recent client. Which I don't put no blame or hate against. For the small town that #Redlands is this was a really shitty thing to do. I went in for a simple wrist tattoo (just a cross) and Jake ended up taking a look at an old hip tattoo i got at a different shop when I was eighteen. The design had been terrible (what was supposed to be a moon looked like the letter C). I had long since given up on the tattoo, but Jake had a vision! He was able to reshape and redesign it beautifully. I wish I had before and after photos but I never took photos of my old tattoo because I hated it lol.
