I wanted to have a note from my father tattooed into my forearm.  I had never had gotten a tattoo and I was pretty nervous.  Nick was great.  He explained the process to me, put me at ease and never made me feel pressured to proceed.  He encouraged me to relax and enjoy getting my tattoo.  I tried different placements of the stencil and he was very patient.  I had assumed that as a newbie I would feel out of place but I didn't.  the surrounding were very eclectic and interesting.  Nick took his time and made sure that I was happy with the results.  I love my tattoo.  I would recommend his work and the general atmosphere to anyone looking for a good tattoo artist and a relaxing process. Matt Miller is a cool dude. I got a matching tattoo with my mom on valentine's day, it was small and took 5 minutes if anything. My mom was squirming during her tattoo but luckily he had patience lol. The shop itself is very neat and clean, with some very cool artwork and decor on the walls. I cannot tell you how happy I am with both the service and quality of work I received today by Matt. I ended up at Final Sin for two reasons 1) my tat guy I have used for years moved out of state and 2) I heard great things about Final Sin. Well there is a third reason also. I tried going back to the shop that my regular tat guy was located at. Needless to say I was NOT happy with the service nor my tattoo. I looked for a year to find an artist that I could establish a relationship with as I am not the type to jump from artist to artist. Long story short.... I came in to Final Sin, met Matt for the first time and explained to him that before I add onto any more pieces that I would like to get some less than par work fixed. We scheduled an appt and today I had that appt. I cannot tell you HOW HAPPY I am with my tattoo/s. Yes, Matt fixed multiple tattoos that needed work. I believe I have found a new home and artist and look forward to adding onto my arm piece. So I would HIGHLY recommend giving Matt and/or Final Sin a shot. I went to final sin yesterday as a walk in just looking for information on getting the tattoo I wanted, I was not at all planning on getting my tattoo done yesterday. I have a few other tattoos from a few other shops and never ever wanted to go back to any of them, they were all horrible experiences so I read reviews and asked around about different places this time around. The tattoos I want are very very important to me, more so than any other tattoo I have. Anyways, I had planned on going to also check out one other shop yesterday before deciding, and even possibly keep looking this week into other shops. I went into the shop and met Chad. I explained to him the idea I had and the placement I needed. I went in thinking it was going to be a more difficult thing to do and Chad reassured me that it would be easy, and we talked a bit about the design. It was very comfortable talking to him and I felt like he understood exactly what I wanted and I decided to schedule an appt. with him later that day. My last tattoo was 7 years ago and I definitely handled pain a lot better before but he made getting that tattoo such an enjoyable experience even when I was in pain. I've been going here for 2 years off and on. Matt Miller is the man when it comes to shading and creating. Ive had both arms, back and legs done by him and it's great to see the art as it evolves. I hate to give this place a bad review, but I have to in this situation. As a whole, this tattoo shop is wonderful and I have gotten a lot of my pieces done here. However my friend and I got matching tattoos by a guy that I had never seen there. His name was Matt Miller, and he was the most disengaged artists I have ever been tatted by. He not only managed to give us crooked lines, but he did not seem to care at all. When asking about placement of the tattoos, the man literally said I do not really care where you put it. This shop is awesome! All the artists are fantastic, talented, professional, and know what they're doing. This particular review is for my go-to artist Matt Miller. His artwork is incredible; I've gotten quite a few now from him, and have never been disappointed. He's a little quiet at first (just stating because this might throw some people off)-but would you rather have a great tattoo or someone who talks a lot? Anyways, I highly recommend Matt! Matt miller is a horrible tattoo artist. His attitude is garbage. My tottoo is healed now and I'm looking closely at my skin and it is scarred. Crossing my fingers that within the next six months it doesn't blow out!!!! I asked him for waves and he just blacked out the area and called it waves. To be a little more clear about the situation, I had several existing tattoos on my leg and wanted to fill everything in with waves. Now that I think about it I should've stopped him while he was doing the tattoo but something inside of me told me I'm sure he knows what he's doing, Just trust this guy, and what do I get for trusting him? A screwed up leg. I guess that's what I get for not stopping him you live and you learn right? Now that I look back at when he did the tattoo and I'm more educated now he rushed through my tattoo and slanted his needle at an angle pulled on my skin and created blowouts and several areas, he doesn't give a crap about you or your tattoo or at least act like he does, or give you any advice for your tattoo he just wants his money clearly. Sorry I don't mean to sound so nasty but this is the truth . He told me he was tattooing for 10 years which is a total lie if you've been tattooing Matt for 10 years then you would be concerned about your clients tattoos and have at least one idea. If you step foot into this shop ask for Chad he's the best one there. Do not get your tattoo done by Matt Miller Ink double thumbs down! I'm so upset and this is the only way I can take my anger out about this horrible tattoo!! I wouldn't recommend. I went here today to get a tattoo (I have one previous from here and experience was ok..). Today was awful! The guy had no personality. He made me feel so uncomfortable I left. He didn't want to talk with me about ideas I was so surprised! Plus he was sort of rude too! All of my tattoos came from people with upbeat personalities and lots of opinions. This guy was a blob. Came in as a walk in and was greeted by PJ.  I came in wanting a simple tattoo on my wrist with the words Strong Enough written.  Showed him something i saw online and said id like it somewhat like this and he came up with his own spin on it.  I loved it!  The whole process was quick and moderately painless lol.  I love my new tattoo and will be back to get some older tats vamped up!  Thanks PJ! My right arm was tattooed here at Final Sin by Nervio and Terry Ribiera. I decided to come back since my experience was great. I came in to get a tattoo of wings that ran from my left wrist up to my elbow. Chad and I discussed the design and he drew a couple of examples for me to choose from.Once I decided on the design he then made sure that I liked the placement of the tattoo. He made adjustments to make the original design larger to match what I had in mind. Chad did an amazing job with my tattoo and he did It quick! Nice thick straight lines and clean shading. He explained to me what he was doing with the shading on spots that were having difficulty taking ink. The large tattoo was finished in just a little over an hour! Once again amazing experience, clean shop! very professional and welcoming. You can always tell if the place is clean by the detail and cleanliness of the bathroom. Here you will find magazines well organized, well stocked and pristine! I highly recommend Chad and his team at Final Sin. I'm committed to giving him both my arms to display his art. Wow! I came here without an appointment - slightly due to my impulsive decision. And when I called I spoke with Chad, and asked if they could do a touch up and and a small tattoo and he said yes and to ask for him when I arrived. When I arrived, I immediately felt at home. This place is super cool inside. They have vintage pin up posters, Star Wars art hanging, taxidermy on display and cool music memorabilia decorated throughout the shop. I especially like the old candelabra fixtures and red plush velvet couch because it adds an even darker/vampire vibe to the alternative/modern vibe inside. The shop is amazingly clean and organized which is key if I'm going to have some needle poke and burn my skin for the sake of body art. Chad was attentive to what I wanted and helped me figure out the best placement for my new tattoo. He provided some feedback and suggestions on my current tattoo that desperately needed a touch up and made sure it tied into my new piece well. Chad made sure I was comfortable and was very conscious of body placement because this tattoo required me to take off my bra and shirt. So I really appreciated him going out of his way to make sure I was covered no matter what. He also told me it was okay to let him know if I needed a break or if the pressure was too much. You don't get that anywhere else - in fact my first tattoo artist almost quit half way through because I was so scared - good thing I've grown up since then!Anyways, I really enjoyed the entire experience from the vibe I got when I walked in to the conversations we had during the process of getting my tattoo.
