Laughing Crow Tattoo is the best in town. We have used Graham, and Jake for many years. Both if them put out quality work that lasts a lifetime. Every time we've been in, the shop is always exceptionally clean and there is a ton of knowledge shared between the artists. On our last visit, Graham did an awesome job for us on a memorial tattoo a bunch of us wanted done. He cranked out 9 quality pieces of art in just over 8 hours. Very CLEAN and PROFESSIONAL shop!I'm always hesitant about getting a piercing or tattoo in Placerville. Just because the shops looks so grungy and dirty inside. Jake has done three of my piercings my most recent one was my nipples. Talk about awkward having someone other then your spouse seeing you topless. Jake has done both of my tattoos and both times I've been super impressed. He's thorough and takes the time to add as much detail as possible which I personally really appreciate. My first tattoo took around 6 hours and I'll never regret getting something so big for my first one because Jake did such an incredible job. My second tattoo (here's a fun story) was an experience. My fiancé and I went in together to get our second tattoos. He went first, took about four hours, and ...the tattoo was phenomenal. I went next and just a few minutes in the power went out. Unable to get it back on, Jake started looking through his desk. I looked up the outage and found that the cause was unknown and it was pretty wide spread. Jake took a battery and used some wire to make the gun work (at about half the speed) and finished the line work with my fiancé's phone as the light. Totally amazing. I'll never go to anyone else and I recommend him and Graham to all of my friends and family. I obviously have not been tattooed by Graham but he's always super friendly when I go in which is something I really appreciate because some other tattoo parlors in town made me feel a little unwelcome.
