Decided to do something spontaneous today w/ my bf (it was his idea of course). He said I wasn't down to get a tattoo and well.. we ended up here. We actually stopped by a couple other shops before finding this gem. Walking in we were immediately greeted by Kris (Kristo). First I asked if they take walk ins (some shops don't) he replies with a "yes". Then I showed him a pic of what my bf and I had decided on and asked him for an estimated quote. He said he'd do each for $60 and obviously we couldn't say no. We told him we were down and he said it'll take about 1 hour and asked if it was okay with us. We said yes and told him we would come back in an hour.We came back maybe 30 mins later (I really didn't keep track but I know it was less than an hour later). Again Kris greeted us and said it would be about 30-40 mins. So we just sat there. Initially I thought Kris was just a receptionist or something, until he went to the back and started tattooing this young lady.. I was amazed because it literally took Kristo like 15 mins to finish a piece on the young lady. I was impressed. Fast forward a bit.. he has us sign some forms and asks for our I.D's. He looked at me and said "you first?" I really wanted to go 2nd but I couldn't back down after he called me out. haha. So I went first and I was super glad I did! It was a bit painful but it was bearable. Kris was super chill and that helped too. He was funny and would go along with my jokes while he also cracked some himself. Before I knew it I was done! My bf was next and he was making faces haha. Thank goodness I went before him haha he would have made me think twice about getting one at all. My bf and I were happy with the end result. Thank you Kris! You're awesome! I'd definitely hit you up for another one! Also had an opportunity to talk to Red and she's chill. Cool girl. I had a chance to look at her book. I went to get a Friday the 13th tattoo and I'm pretty disappointed by how it came out. The artist/owner Red did my tattoo and she took only 10 mins to do it. It came out sloppy and the blood isn't even red it came out dark purple. Sad this has to be on my body forever and the artist rushed this tattoo to hurry up and go onto the next person. Wish she took her time because now I have a crap tattoo. Definitely not going back. I know it was a low priced tattoo special but for something so small and simple it should have come out great, especially being done by the owner, Red. Read Less

This review is long overdue. I have been coming to Just Deadly for awhile now. The staff is amazing. They are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I have been coming to Red for my ink. Let me tell you, she is one hell of an artist. I had piece done of my shears and wow...she knocked it out of the park by adding special touches to what I wanted. I get so many compliments on them because they just pop. She's done a few other custom pieces for me, such as Madame Leota and a jack-o-lantern cutie. I couldn't be happier with them. I was tattooed by Tony (IG tony_lee_ink) it came out amazing. Beyond my expectations. I was also tattooed (IG jaguarknite) who freehanded the whole tattoo. It come out so well despite my reservations about being tattooed with no stencil. The whole vibe of the shop is amazing and from my experience every artist is down to earth and great at what they do. I went to Just Deadly Tattoo Parlor on Friday the 13th to get my first tattoo and it was a nightmare waiting to get my tattoo. They have the worst customer service. The three receptionist ladies are very rude and so is the own of the shop. They will not prioritize you as a customer. They will let their friends go first and make you wait. I tried getting a refund but they said they don't give refunds. They gave me a choice to reschedule but that was not an option for me actually because I have a life and actually planned on getting a tattoo on Friday the 13th not Friday the 20th. Read Less

My friend decided to get her septum pierced so she walked in before 7:30pm. Red was at the front window and greeted us and gave us the form for her piercing. I decided to get a tattoo this past Sunday with my daughter and she suggested for us to go to Just Deadly.  I was like sure why not at least get a price for my tattoo.  Well we arrived to be greeted by tattoo artist Kris.  He looked extremely young but I trusted in this place before so really I was not too concerned.  Kris quoted us a good price and we were on our way to get inked.  I decided on a piece behind my neck so I was worried about the pain.  Well I had none at all.  Such a light light gifted hand that I am sure looking forward to him doing my other tattoos in the future.  He had a  really easy going personality that puts you at ease so that's another plus.  In the end we are really happy with our new ink and memories.  I will be seeing Kris again.  Ty Kris @ Just Deadly!!! Second time visiting and by far best experience I have ever had at any tattoo shop. Red does amazing tattoos. She saved a horrible tattoo I had done in the past and fixed it up completely. One of the best ive been to. I have 2 half sleeves my whole upper back and others through out my body. I came into the shop randomly one day and kept going until I moved. The artist were open to help me create the designs and complete the tattoo beautifully.  Besides that it was always a pleasure to sit and chat with the staff while I waited to get started on my tattoo. This place is so awesome. The staff here are so friendly, and they make this place really welcoming. The shop is very clean, and the staff are very professional as well. I got my nose pierced by Patty a couple of months ago, and she did an AMAZING job! I'm not a fan of needles, but she helped through the piercing process. So this is my second time here and all I got to say is Danny Flores is the best artist here. Yes I was referred and seeing is believing and his work is just amazing or "cute". But I have shared both my tattoos hes done. One was a puzzle piece cause my lil girl is autistic and the second  was a Sunflower my favorite flower and it always makes me smile. Loved itttt! I went in as a walk in today to get pierced and from the outside you could already tell it was super nice and clean ! I got my nipples pierced amd Patty is literally the dopest ! Stay away!!!!! Worst experience ever you go in there expecting to talk to an artist and you can't cause either you get this tall white tweeker looking dude or this old lady trying to dress like a teenager who try to give advice but have no idea what they are talking about since they aren't artist!! I took a card and immediately threw it away do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!! Ended up getting my work done at Latin skulls where I was actually was able to talk to a real artist about what I wanted and got really good ideas on what to add! The shop hasn't been here for Long,  original spot was uptown Whittier.  It's a small spot in your driving and you blink you will miss it.  Inside is clean,  and everybody is helpful.
