Went in w/ an infected belly piercing.. asked the piercer guy (big bald white guy) to put in a longer piercing so it can be more comfortable. He was not gentle or nice at all, no compassion whatsoever. He was aware it was already painful & was still so rough & harsh on my already bruised & swollen belly. He tried sooo hard whole time im in pain & at the end, he couldn't even get off the piercing. He put me thru all that unnecessary pain for nothing. He then came out w/ a pair of scissors he was gonna use???? I told him No! And he said to get out. Victor was a lifesaver! I was here out of town and had surgery scheduled the next day and the dr said i had to take my piercings out. I was having trouble trying to get my septum piercing out on my own so i went to 3 different piercers in town and none of them knew what the hell they were doing and wasted a lot of my precious time (time is money). My friend and I went here this past weekend to get small tattoos to remember our trip to California. Were very pleased with the tattoos and great service. My tattoo artist also made sure to point out he was using a clean, sterile needle which I appreciated. However, my friend received a tattoo on her chest/sternum. Her tattoo experience (with the artist) went very well and she was very pleased But through out her tattoo one of the other artist came in to peak at was going on and while my friend had her shirt off was making sexual gestures with his mouth and being very vile towards her. This not only happened once but twice. As far are the tattoos go they’re worth what we paid and the artists who worked on us we’re very pleased with. Okay, I purposely waited 4 months to write this review to make sure everything was fine. I came here in January 2017 to get a septum piercing. Vic is the one who pierced it. When I got there, he picked out the jewelry he thought would work with my nose, and I got the horseshoe one (for work purposes and bc even tho I was 26 years old, my parents would have killed me.) to be able to flip it up. I was super nervous bc I knew it was gonna hurt like a biotch, but I also knew it would look dope and I really wanted it so... here we go. I laid on the table and awaited my fate. Vic prepared everything he needed to stab me and I just waited anxiously for it to just be over already. Like I said, I was nervous. He told me to inhale and as I did, he went through my septum with a needle. Let me tell you that pain is not something I want to feel ever again! But it wasn't over like I thought. He then had to feed the ring through that freshly made wound. Yeaaahhhhh that felt awesome haha. Once that was over, he screwed on the horseshoe ball and I was good to go! I was nervous about the aftercare bc I've had a piercing twice before  and both times it got infected so I just assumed my body hated metal. However, this aftercare process seemed simple. After I left, I tried to flip up my septum piercing only to discover I couldn't!! It was too high to flip upwards, and I couldn't figure out how else to flip it and started freaking out. I went back into the shop and Vic suggested I try downward or sideways. Thankfully, pulling down my upper lip helped me in flipping my septum into my nose from the bottom. I was terrified and didn't wanna touch it again! Haha. Cleaning it kinda hurt, not gonna lie. Despite what the internet says, crusts do not always mean infection! I, of course, freaked out during my healing process bc I had yellow little crusts around the piercing on my nose. But q-tips are lifesavers and when I was in pain I just did a sea salt soak and put some tea tree oil on it. Not in the beginning tho! I waited a couple weeks to do that. If you're like me, it's gonna take like 3 to 4 months for your nose not to hurt when you touch it! There were some times I accidentally hit it and I wanted to scream...but I love it now that it doesn't hurt anymore and is looking like it's fully healed! Thanks, Vic. I got the industrial piercing and it wasn't painful whatsoever. Vic did an amazing job. I originally went in to get a dermal between my chest but he explained to me the cons about it and I took his advice. The process was fairly quick and painless. Very nice people here, very fair & reasonable prices...Big Joe is very patient, communicative, he explains each evolution of the inking process--and he'll keep you verbally updated upon what he is doing and at what stage your procedure is at. He is both quite detailed and thorough in his work, and his creations are imaginative and he's an artist of the first magnitude--I noted they have a good curtained-off areas if anyone is thinking of getting a tattoo in a more discreet body area. First of all, right when i walked in the shop there was some dude eyeballing me like crazy, i didn't really think much of it, but my friend noticed. Then i met the piercer, who seemed pretty cool, although i noticed he was sweating a whole lot for it being so cold outside, meanwhile the crazy eyeballing dude takes down all my information. i go in the little room area about to get it pierced and they didnt let my friend go in there and watch me, yet the crazy eyeballing dude waltzes right in to watch me get it pierced, which i felt was extremely was uncomfortable. i mean i dont know this guy ,he's been starring at me the whole time, he is not even piercing me , why was he in there??!!, watching me drool everywhere while the other guy held my tongue ?? what the hell!!? and to top it off my piercer starts talking to me and i look at his eyes and realize why the hell he is so sweaty. he is tweeked out!! yes on one obviously! his eyes were so dialated it was ridiculous, anyway as he is piercing me im watching his face and he makes this terrible face as if something went wrong then all i saw was blood everywhere and i went in to shock , not only did he pop a vein he pierced me completely slanted and wrong, ive gotten two other opinions about it, and both have said that he clearly pierced me wrong, and to top off my bad piercing at that good for nothing shop , the guy who was starring at me the whole time , he texted me!!! yess texted me, that creep got my number off the information sheet i filled out and texted me saying he was too shy to talk to me but he thinks im sooo cute, what the hell!! talk about unprofessional. i will never go there again Read Less
