What can I say about adornment except EXCELLENT! This  Tattoo Studio, yes Studio, is exactly that. Each artist has their own private studio allowing their clients to have a very personal experience.  The space as a whole, is impeccably clean. The staff is very friendly and make you feel right at home. Dillon Smith did amazing work on both myself and my husband. He was very accommodating.  Price was what you would expect to pay for a quality tattoo, the difference is you are in your own private comfortable space. Went there to have my back dermals removed. Let me just say from the moment o walked in it was an amazing experience. This place is hands down the best shop in the valley. ALL of the staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. Shop is immaculate and the artists are great at what they do. I've had 2 tattoos done recently by Neri, who takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work. You can tell this isn't just a job for him, it's his passion and he's treated both pieces with extreme care and takes his time and attention to detail. As you can see from my reviews, I do not take body art lightly. It's permanent and more importantly: not enough artists or shops take pride in what they do, the craftsmanship and the tools used to create it. This place is completely different than any piercing or tattoo studio I have ever been to. The detail on their jewelry display cases and overall design is quite impressive. In terms of the layout, the whole structure is welcoming and non-intimidating as many places tend to be whether you've had a lot of work before or not. That can push people away; atmosphere is important but the service should be the focus. I called a few hours ahead of time knowing it was a weekend and could be busy. After speaking with Trinity she answered all my questions without hesitation and convinced me of her skill. I had been following them for a while to make sure they had the same consistent service because I've been in situations before where once the piercer is paid they are desensitized and dismiss you assuming they won't have to see your face again.When I showed up with my little sister we were stoked on getting pierced together. It was important for me to bring her here because as many studios won't tell you: young, inexperienced artists will say and do anything to get a hot girl in their chair. This is offensive to me because that is someone's daughter, sister or mom. These girls are vulnerable and know very little about the risks -- after finishing up my Philtrum and septum jewelry replacement, I had Roy check up on some bad work done on my sis. I knew his decades of experience in the industry would ensure safe handling. As suspected, she was improperly pierced at a popular shop in downtown San Diego. I will never let her go there again. Please take the time to research where you get any body piercings, tattoos, scarification, etc done. Don't go to places offering deals because I guarantee you will regret it. Even "professionals" lack vital knowledge that is important to any returning clients. If you know anything about good business: retaining clientele is the majority of how those doors stay open. I paid full price for plenty of work that I regret only because of how poorly they were rushed/handled. Speaking of after care these guys got you! Very knowledgeable staff, APP members. You dont have to be best friends with anyone but let's at least look out for each other in this community. I'd like to be able to recommend more shops like this one. My girlfriend and I took our daughters in (14 & 15) to get their helix pierced. Obviously we were nervous, but the second we walked into Adornment, we were greeted by Trinity who put us at such ease. She was so informative and kind, we decided to get ours pierced too. Roy came out and introduced himself as our piercer. As we walked back to the room, I was so impressed at the layout of this shop. There was private rooms throughout. I love that! I cannot say enough nice things about Roy. This is the most ridiculous place I have EVER been to. Seriously, they're a joke. I'll give them one star for entry cleanliness, beautiful jewelry, and their displays. Other than that I've been here 6 times now with a friend to purchase jewelry and the man in charge seems to always be out. Apparently because he isn't available, they're unable to sell any jewelry for sanitation purposes (they say). I've been told that they're 'working' on bringing on new piercers to be able to sell things and have yet to see anything come of that. Can you just train your reception staff to do this for you? Or is it within the realm of possibility to sanitize and package multiples of what you have on display for sales? I mean really... what's the point otherwise. Adornment has my heart! Although I'm a native to the Desert I had only heard great things about this place. I had finally decided that I wanted to check it out as I'm a stickler for REAL metals for jewelry since it is going to be IN my body and also because I'm allergic to anything with nickel in it. At my first visit I had gotten my nose pierced and that honestly was one of the best experiences - completely professional, extremely hygienic, educational and comfortable. I am very happy with my nose stud and plan on hearing back there soon to get the ring placed. Jose is honestly the best and he knows what he's doing! He has every certification in the book and knows his stuff! You can tell he's extremely passionate about what he does and that means a lot to me personally. My mom came along for the piercing and also got herself a new stud (she pierced hers years ago) and got a beautiful rose gold snake! They do have one of a kind pieces as Jose purchases just one kind of each which really makes your purchase feel unique. Granted the jewelry is more expensive, but worth every penny because it is high quality. The only downside (which is not on Adornment) is the time it takes when you order a piece.. sometimes it takes up to six weeks, but like I said that's the company.. not them. I'm also planning on getting a tattoo soon as I was able to meet with an artist right after my piercing. I am so excited and I HIGHLY recommend any piercing to be done there.. you won't regret it! I am in love my koi fish on my foot, the process was intense for me (didn't expect for it to so much pain) but Neri did an amazing job keeping me calm and pumping me up for the outcome! I'd like to preface this review by saying that I'm not bitter with my experience here, but I am someone who tells it like it is and tries to be honest with my reviews to better help other people reading this decide if it's right for them. Got a tattoo here with an artist (that I won't name) about 3 years ago. Went in and told him that I wanted to start the process of getting a sleeve done with him. All things were set and the tattoo went fabulously. The work was great, the piece healed amazing. But, and this is a huge BUT, when I went to book another session with the same artist I couldn't reach him. I tried facebook messaging, instagram dm, personal phone calls AND texts, and even calling the shop and trying to visit in person to set up an appointment. Nothing. This was very disappointing and reflected negatively HUGELY with me as I respect and appreciate good customer service and artist relationships. After I had already gone to another shop a couple weeks later, I did receive a text back with the excuse that "he was so busy and was managing everything himself alone." Now I am a solo hairstylist with hundreds of regular clients, and having read that I just about lost it. Not sure if he thought I was stupid, crazy, or just plain didn't care about my business, but that seemed like a poor, disrespectful, and embarrassing excuse. I understand popular artists get busy and we all have lives outside of work, but come on, not even a "sorry I'm busy right now. I will check my schedule for you," text? Again, as a client who enjoyed his art style and talent so much, it was plain embarrassing and frankly, disrespectful. I don't care how cool or badass or great your work isthere is no excuse if you have a terrible business sense and lack of care for your clients who are willing to spend $500-$2000 on work with you. Sorry. Bottomline is: (and I can't speak of all the artists there or know if the guy that did mine even still works here) if you are looking to get a ONE time ONE session tattoo, this place is great. Now if you want to get multiple pieces like a sleeve or large piece or even a piece that may need a touchup down the line, I recommend going to another shop and giving them your business instead. There are TONS of shops with badass artists who are kind and genuine people that appreciate the business of eager customers. Read Less

I had the best experience here! I was in town on vacation with my husband and decided that I was ready for my first tattoo! Mind you, a very small outline of a heart. I walked in without an appointment on a Friday afternoon and Dillon was more than happy to meet with me. After looking at his amazing work it was VERY clear that my quarter sized heart on my rib cage was way under his skill set but he was so professional and I could truly tell that he just wanted me to be happy with the experience. I got my dermals done here and originally i was gonna get one on each side but the owner told me i was a little sideways and it would look like one was higher so i ended up getting two on one side. I'm huge on perfection especially when it comes to something on my body. He wasn't just trying to make a quick few bucks off me he took pride in his work and took it seriously. He is very straight forward and doesn't want anything less than an amazing reputation so he'll make sure you get what you want. They never got infected and after a year they started to dull and they let me come back and switched them out for new ones for free. Stephanie at the front was so nice and helpful.Eric was booked until late April but said he would try to work us in. He kept in contact with us throughout the evening regarding a possible opening the next day and we texted back and forward with design ideas. Eric worked us in at noon on Sunday. He is personable, professional, an exceptional listener and very knowledgeable. *NOTE: give this talented artist freedom and you won't be disappointed. The shop was immaculate!
