I went in last night with the idea of what I wanted to get for my mom. PJ was there, drew it up in 30 minutes and then we were tattooing! PJ is absolutely amazing. Not only was the tattoo perfect, he was truly a joy to spend the time with. Like... I literally want to hang out with him  I'd had a terrible experience for my last tattoo and it took me 8 years to get the guts up to try again. He has completely renewed my faith. I'm normally very socially anxious and awkward so spending that much time with someone I don't know can be challenging haha. Amazing work! We walked in and got amazing service!!! I recommend 100%!!! They were friendly and helpful. I didn't feel good during my session as I don't take pain very well. Been wanting a Ganesh Tattoo..  I have a friend that does tattoos, but he not reliable and take awhile to complete a tattoo... So last year for my bday I decided to get a new tattoo. If I can give 10 stars I would, I mean wow!!! I went to a local shop a few blocks down just cause they were open and that was a big regret! I just got two pieces done from the artist Joel and he showed me what a tattoo is suppose to look like. I am never going anywhere else. Desert rose tattoo is the best place to get tattooed. Matt and Alex are amazing artist and they really care about their clients. He was able to translate what my husband wanted into a beautiful tattoo. His style is very clean and it's obvious he takes great pride in his work. Veronica (currently out of country) did my beautiful floral tattoos, she was amazing and used a rotary machine on me (much quieter and less scary lol). She was very light and her art is impeccable. The other guys are also very talented as I have seen them tattoo other people while we were in there. The crew is hilarious but professional. They are like a big family and it's a very welcoming atmosphere. The shop is very clean, don't judge it by the outside!! Been here 3 times with my wife and I have to say, it's my favorite tattoo shop. Alex and Matt are really talented artists and really down to earth guys. Super chill and needles are never reused and they always change their gloves for cleanliness which I like. They help you design whatever you'd like and their walls are just full of amazing flash designs. They like to have deals on tattoos which are great and I have taken advantage of them and never go wrong. Traditional tattoos are my favorite choice as Alex and Matt have incredible skills in that area. So far, every tattoo I've gotten has been traditional and extremely clean. Awesome shop, super clean. Spent a good 5+ hours in there with one of the artists Sunny, who did great work on my arm. The owner Matt made me and my buddy feel right at home (hospitality isn't something you find too often in a tattoo shop unfortunately). However these two are a great duo, as soon as you walk in you can tell this isn't some scratch box and that they're passionate about the work. Sunny Granados, an absolutely amazing soul and tattoo artist; is currently working out of this parlor and I am ever so grateful to have such a talented artist to be so close and be able to do such great works of art with ease. Not only is the shop a hidden jewel in this desert but the energy put into their masterpieces that we not only get to take home on our bodies is more than breathe taking. I have had my fair share of tattoo artists and shops, but this one is by far the best I have ever been to. Sterile, tidy, very organised, and your eyes are always moving with all the works on the walls. By far the best in the west I'd say.
