If 0 Stars were possible I'd pick the 0 stars  got my tattoo on the inside of my lips! It's was nice for the first and second day but by the 3 day I woke up and it was nearly gone! I talked to the artist  on the phone and  he said he'll touch it up once it was  healed. Today it being the 29th I called they said "yea come in." Once I arrived to the shop the lady from when I got my tattoo initially was there.She then insisted that it is normal for a tattoo in the inside of your lips to be gone by the third day. Lip tattoos are supposed to last 1-5 years so how is 3 day worth 50$! He then said to retouch it up would be 50$ so 3 Small X's is worth 100$ Read Less

My girlfriend and I recently came here and I payed for her 2 small, simple tattoos that came out to $100. Let me tell you guys, for simple tattoos they came out extremely bad. Guy offered to redo the tattoos but my girlfriend said she does not want to go back. I was a little nervous,  and shy about getting my nipples pierced, but as soon as I walked in I was greeted with friendly faces. They were so welcoming, and the shop is EXTREMELY clean. My piercer was Lisa, and she made me feel very comfortable. She explained  the whole process to me, and talked me through step by step. I really liked how she didn't rush me, and warned me prior to pushing the needle through.  She went  over after care several times, and even double checked to make sure I had the shop number... just in case I had any questions. I had Lisa add to a tattoo on my forearm I already had as a head start to my half sleeve and I absolutely love it. Very detail oriented and beautifully shaded!!! I needed a tattoo and when searching I stumbled onto this place! This was my first tattoo as well!When I first went in for the tattoo, I asked the artist where I should put it, but that I wanted it on my arm. My artist told me that my idea was, "Really Deep," and that he loved my phrase. He told me that the size would eventually spread and that I need to go a little bigger in order to keep the beauty of the meaning. It's pretty cool that I got to go in for my first tattoo and get someone who would actually care about what they're putting on your skin forever!     To the artist I want to consult for my first serious tattoo:     "My first tattoo may have been just another day in your first 13 years of being an amazing artist, but to me you gave me the best 'first tattoo' experience! if i could i would not even give it one star! i heard good things about this place decided to give it a shot, been wanting a portrait of my daughter messaged them on facebook they gave me a price, got there paid in full, he did not finish it that day, was told to come back did so i waited about a hour and a half, he then wanted to charge me 20$ more because he had to use another needle, another client walked in so he then told me (he needs to make money) I'm a understanding person and of course didnt think anything of it. so let him do this other person WHILE i waited. after he had COMPLETED that person, he came back to me did not work on my piece not even 20 mins said it was getting late, was told to call him back to check when he could "work" me in again. took a while before i got a response, came back in waited AGAIN and he wanted to charge me another new needle fee! AND still my tattoo was not completed till this day i am walking around with a half ass'd portrait of my daughter! I should have made this review along time ago, but was not aware of how useful this is!Update 11/2/17 My Message/Response Thank you for responding Chris, and glad you remember me being that this was 3yrs ago! I myself have never tapped out or never asked to stop. I don't mind waiting, but not wait almost two hours on each time I had returned. Y'all would give me the day/time to come back; and being that i had already paid in full there should be no need to give another deposit. again you would give me the day/ time to come back so there for, should have worked the "walk in's" around me, so that you could complete my piece. I understand that you are still running a business. But each time I went back, 1. Was never acknowledge and felt like I was the one bugging to have my tattoo completed 2. I was worked on each time no more than 15-20 mins after waiting almost 2hrs. Just to be told to make another appointment and get yet another needle fee. The cost of the tattoo was a grate price yes, but I think I would have rather paid what you thought was right for my piece from the get and get it completed. No one should feel like they are a nuisance, especially since I had paid in full on day one. I apologize to have written this review because I hate to be one to bash, but I really felt offended and belittled as if my money/time wasn't just as important. Took my 17 year old today for nose piercing and this place was sketchy. Being a nurse, I don't think they cleaned the area well enough. Chris who did the piercing did not even introduce himself or really give us a choice of jewelry. He also snapped at me several times in a row that they do not allow recordings or pictures. Yeesh. I just wanted to take one picture of her sitting in the chair, I didn't need to be treated so harshly. Also no thank you for coming in, no follow up recommendations. Very bad customer service. Please don't go here. I got pierced here and a friend of mine also shared a story with me about an awful tattoo she got here. I got my tragus and my cartilage pierced, and nearly right after they both got super infected even though I cleaned them with saline twice a day. I went to my normal piercer in Huntington Beach and she told me that the helix ring wasn't even all the way through my ear! It was just squished against it. So here I am still battling terrible infections. My helix is doing a bit better but my tragus is so swollen and filled with pus. I DO NOT recommend this place, even when I was there they were gruff and rude and unapproachable. I didn't get a choice in my jewelry and the first stud they chose for my tragus was so small it burrowed into my ear. Read Less

We ended up getting placed with different artist then attended, but it worked out great! My sister was placed with Gary who was seriously the nicest guy! I had such a horrible experience at this place! I've had my tongue double pierced when I was 18 then after removing them I double pierced them again in my early 20's. Nothing was wrong with them, I just got over them. I wanted to double pierce my tongue again (10 years later) and was referred to this place from a friend who gets tats here.I originally wanted it pierced side by side but with the two main arteries of your tongue some people can't do it and both piercers there were uncomfortable doing it so I decided up and down was fine. When the guy clamped my tongue he clamped it from the side instead of from the piercing spot to the front top of the tongue. He put the needle through and I squirt blood on my shirt, on the chair, on the floor and it kept bleeding. The piercer looked scared and I started to worry. He asked if I have a blood before and I told him no. He made me gargle to help stop the bleeding and put pressure on my tongue. Once I stop bleeding, he moved on and pierce the second with no problem. He then told me I was free to leave then he walked out the front door. That was a Wednesday. That night and Thursday morning my tongue was swollen and bruised purple and blue from where he clamped my tongue (never happened to me before). I bled for 10 minutes from the back bar when I tried to eat Thursday and the blood was coagulating in my mouth. Friday afternoon I bled 20 minutes just laying on the couch. Sunday at 3am I bled 20 minutes non stop again. Something was seriously wrong. I was at work closing out to leave and I started bleeding again non stop for a half hour in the trash can. My friend took me to Kaiser emergency and I bled in the car and when I got there I bled for over a half hour after the bar was removed. It was pierced through an artery. I spent Mother's Day at the emergency instead of with my kids.I went back the following Wednesday not to get upset or ask for my money back, but to just talk to the guy and let him know he pierced my tongue wrong and through an artery. He got really defensive and angry with me and said it was pierced in the exact spot it was pierced before and where I wanted it cuz I okayed it. I told him he clamped my tongue wrong and that's where he lost it. He started taking his voice telling me he's been piercing for 16 years and I don't know what I'm talking about and how dare I tell him how to do his job. I didn't raise my voice and asked if he's been piercing for 16 years then why did he pierce me through an artery and why was the other piercing crooked? He kept huffing and puffing then asked what I was doing there if I didn't go to get my money back. I told him I just wanted to let him know he messed up and that I didn't want someone else to go through what I went through. He got angry still saying it was my fault and I was wrong and when some walked in I didn't want to make a sene so I just said thanks anyway and left.I don't know if they're good at tattoos cuz I didn't get a tattoo, I don't know if they're good at ear piercing cuz I didn't get my ear pierced, all I know is that he does not know what he's doing when it comes to tongue piercing and I strongly recommend you go somewhere else!!! Gerard Grey did an outstanding job on a cover up for me. He does excellent work, was very gentle. I've never had anyone be so conscientious about cleaning along the way as I've been tattooed. I had set up an appointment with the boss man himself, Chris (CEO), a week ahead for a session in the afternoon when they opened. I confirmed with him a few hours ahead to make sure that the day was still a good day to come in. I arrived 5 min before the scheduled time to make sure I wasn't late and they were open. I walked in and told the lady in the shop I had a session scheduled with Chris but he was not there. I waited 1 hour before the lady said she'll find out where he is. Apparently he had something come up and he told her to tell me he'll be 15 min. Great! ANOTHER HOUR GOES BY... still no word, no appearance, and no apology or reschedule. I have been to 3 different shops in the valley and I see how they all work differently. Bloodline 1 on cook is the best place to go. They do such great work I would be stupid to go anywhere else. John Prado did an amazing job on my bicep tattoo. I tend to get extremely nervous before getting a tattoo, but I was totally confident in him, after getting my stencil placed, and after he hand drew some more details to get it to fit perfectly on my arm. My tattoo turned out spectacular!! It's so detailed. He definitely doesn't cut any corners. The shop is very sterile, and you can tell they take pride it that. Not very professional. My tattoo experience was decent but my sister's was awful. The "owner" tattooed her. Not only did he commandeer her as a client (she was originally working with a different tattoo artist), but he got up, mid-tattoo, on 2 different occasions to answer a long phone call and then to smoke. My sister's tattoos were tiny and should have taken maybe 20 mins each tops. Instead, it's a long ordeal and she was left sitting there two times - forgotten about. Here's an idea, if you can't make the time to run a shop and tattoo, then just focus on one. And keep some cologne handy after you smoke in the back of the building. Grow up. Read Less

Had a sudden urge to get some new ink whilst hanging out in Palm Desert for a few days and after reading good reviews on Yelp thought I'd give Bloodline a go....  Sombz did the honors and he was awesome...I knew what I wanted, but, after a brief conversation, he suggested an added touch, and the end result was amazing. Hurt like a mother fucker--but, duh... tattoo on my wrist, so go figure.
