I was a walk in and Michelle was more then happy to get my tattoo done for me. She was absolutely amazing and so patient with me. I changed a lot of things in the tattoo and the placement on my back multiple times and she never got frustrated and was more then happy to make my tattoo exactly how I pictured it. Just had a tattoo done by John here on Saturday, the inside is clean and everyone that works there is really friendly. The environment was relaxing with great music playing and everyone working made me feel great about my tattoo choice. John, my tattoo artist did an excellent job, I had brought in a picture I had liked and he made it unique. The finished tattoo was exactly what I wanted! And he kept up great conversation thru out the whole process. Ive gotten 2 tattoos from voodoo, and both were outstanding, virtually pain free (my neck tat i was falling asleep i was so comfortable!) i plan to get a tongue piercing sometime in february and i know where imma go! the ink they use leaves almost no redness (on me atleast) someone actually thought my neck tat was not real 2 hours after it was done because there was no swelling or redness. Excellent tattoo/piercing place, I can't speak for the tattoo work, but I know that their shop is very clean and professional, and up to date on piercing/tattooing procedures/methods as far as regulations go, and then some.Chris, who did a helix piercing, was very patient and professional with me (I was a little nervous) and walked me through each step of the process. I came here for my second tattoo and of course i chose to have it put on my foot. It hurt SOOOO bad but so very worth it in the end. I went here after I had gotten my first tattoo at another shop when I was 18 and had to get it cover up. The cover up was done by the owner of the shop. He did an awesome job at it and it's now been 3 years and I still love it. He really helped me out and gave me a good deal and I sat in his chair for hours! The shop is always clean and the staff are all really nice. If I still lived in oroville this is the only shop I would go to. Read Less

Voodoo tattoo is a great shop with a good location. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere as well as the clean environment. My personal experience has been great. All my tattoos are good quality and I always leave happy. The shop has been my tattoo home for a year and it will remain that as long as they are around. :) They have very reasonable rates and good customer service.
