You won't find douchebag hipsters here. The guys here are very friendly and attentive to customers walking in even while they were busy. I had about questions about the Friday the 13th special and they were nice about answering them all . Good vibes here, better than the other shown the street who had whack flashes anyway for Friday the 13th. The guys had music playing to get the day going.I drove to a few shops that day and it seems like everyone had restrictions on where you can and can't place your Friday the 13th tattoo, but low rider didn't have any of those restrictions. My favorite thing about this shop was they allowed the option of a custom small tattoo for Friday the 13th if you didn't see a flash you wanted. I ended up picking a flash and my artist was Noel. He was super professional, chill at offering his expertise and steered me away from my original placement that I wanted because the skin there would not hold very well. Ended up with picking a flash for my rib. I trusted Noel with his placement and suggestions. Thanks !!Would absolutely come back and bring someone if I ever decide to get a tattoo again. Read Less

I Have done some research for months to find a perfect professional type artist, and that's not always easy. As for me, I want the best for a perfect tattoo. Drove 400 miles from the Bay Area to Orange CA to see Gustavo, and let me tell you, Gus is a real professional. I left his shop with a master piece! It's a whole another level of art, he took my idea and made it a million times better. I am honored to have this work done. This place pretty great. I walked in with a picture and walked out with a tattoo in an hour, and it looks fantastic. The man who did mine-Adrian, I believe, was extremely friendly and accommodating, and dealt with my whining and being a chicken the whole way through excellently. The tattoo itself is very well done, the lines are thin and even, and when I jerked my foot and messed up a line he filled it in and its almost impossible to notice. Very nice, good service, worth it, especially for little easy tattoos. However they do only accept cash, and the minimum charge for any tattoo is $80. Read Less

Low rider tattoo has been good to my hubby and me, both getting tattooed by ANGEL and hes so nice and attentive but havent rec'd any piercing there but for the one star just to let you know piercer cant pierce through scar tissue just an FYI.  i should know i  tried piercing my neck 2x and both of them at two different shops denied my service, it was only for my own good the piercer stated.I like low rider tattoo very very talented artist there, but my artist is only a black and grey artist but sick as heck :):) Read Less

I came in here with my husband looking for someone to give me my first tattoo. And we found Danny. He's freaking awesome! He listened to what I wanted he gave me an idea which we mixed in with mine. I ended up loving it. Going in for my first tattoo I thought I was going to be nervous but Danny was chill he talked to both my husband and I. He made me feel comfortable. this review is for Kane Navasard. he is a super sweet and patient person. I was running late for my appointment and when I let him know he said, "as long as you get here safe." he is such a kind man!during our consultation I told him what I wanted and he gave me really useful feedback about the size of my tattoo and the placement. after we settled on that, he got to work on the original script font that I first admired on a tat that caught my eye on this random guy at a bboy battle.  the bboy who was covered in tats told me, "Kane did this for me. he is cool. you should totally go to him. he is good." I was happy to learn that Kane specializes in fine line tattoos bc I'm a elegant lady who needs that type of thang. Kane did not mind me standing over his shoulder and doing what he called "team working" (aka my micromanaging haha) the sketch.  I felt so comfortable when I asked him to change some curves of the letters and add some swirly things.  that is really important to me that the artist is able to take my feedback and adjust the sketch to make me happy. I wasn't sure what size to get so Kane provided me with 3 diff options to try on the area.  I think that's super good customer service!   he then placed the stencil on me 3 diff times because I kept saying I wasn't satisfied with the way it was laying on my skin. Kane was so attentive and obliging. ok so THEN, he brought me into this private room because I got my tat under my breast and he thought I would feel more comfortable there. WHAT A THOUGHTFUL ARTIST, I know.  very respectful of a woman's body. thank you!  he is very gentle w the needle and I had a pleasant experience under his hand. this place is legit with gangster rap and a guy named "spider" who poked his head in to say hello in the middle of everything.the place felt super clean/smelled like antiseptic/ he changed into fresh gloves a bunch of times and he covered my tat w some clear IV bandage thing. so I was good to go. totes lovin my piece.  would post a pic but don't want to show y'all on yelp my boob. thanks again Kane :)****cash only people**** Read Less

Hit up Raymond Bad ass artist been going to him for years, lettering is hit specialty.Recently got two tats from him one was a dope Boston Red Sox logo & negative shade Boston B which completely exceeded my expectations.The second tat was all lettering Blood makes you related, loyalty makes you family the pattern he came up with dope as hell completely blew my mind.Highly recommend him & I will be going back for the rest of my work. I came here to get my ears pierced after being recommended by a friend who got her tongue pierced here. She said she highly recommended me going here because the employees had a great sense of humor and their work was done very skillfully. My piercer was Tony, who was very friendly and gave an opinion on which earrings would look good on me. I originally wanted the ordinary diamond studs, but he said that the special ball one would look fresh. Right when he showed me how it would look in the mirror, I instantly stuck to the choice and prepared to get them done. He wasn't just a ""okay i'm gonna pierce where it looks fine"" but as he was drawing the dots he was very precise to make sure they were at the same place on both ears and asked for second opinions from my sister and another worker (who was very humorous and kept us company). The store itself was in an easy location, with a widescreen TV as you walk in, two couches and a bunch of magazines you can read while you wait your turn. The studio itself was very clean and all the used needles were put into a special waste bin and the gloves were thrown in the trash. Read Less

I walked in and was met by an artist named ""Mr Chino"" we went over what I wanted then he took at least one hour free handing and designing what I wanted true to the ""ol school"" black & gray style. not knowing Mr Chino, his shop artists assured me that his work was ""Bomb"".. they were right and my work came out straight up o'l school and detailed just the way I wanted it., this dude is no joke and he stayed true to his original quote.. his time, effort & work was worth every penny.. I got a tat here and had a pretty uncomfortable experience. The artist was helpful in narrowing down and pinpointing exactly the design I wanted. However, getting it done brought me some trouble.. The tat is located in a private area (for my lover's eyes only) and they don't have a screen/special room, etc, so pretty much you subject yourself to borrowing someone's jacket or bringing your own sheet or something or you risk your goods being out in the open for all to see. It was VERY uncomfortable!! All the while, I could have SWORN I smelled ""smoking herbs"" coming out from the back! But, I'm not 100% sure so don't take my word for it. After it was all over, I wasn't given very precise instructions for care, neither was I bandaged (as I just learned I should have been.) In the end, I paid a pretty decent price for my ink but ""you get what you pay for."" If you want ambiance don't come here. Read Less
