Jason Martin is the man. He has done all my work (a softball-sized design over my heart as well as my entire back from shoulders to tailbone) so I've spent plenty of time there and will always give them my body (not in that way, get your mind out of the gutter ;) Great people and a nice place (much bigger than their last shop). My daughter's brought us to this shop because my 19 yr old had gotten work done by JDogg previously. She's been extremely happy, so we knew what we wanted and all 3 of us were getting the same tattoo, a shamrock with each of our initials in a leaf, because the kids are moving on so I will always have them close this way! I got my very first tattoo here! It's on the inside of my ring finger, so I walked in fearing the worst pain. The shop was super clean and the staff made me feel really comfortable. The tattoo didn't hurt nearly even close to as bad as I was anticipating, just light pricks for a few minutes and I was done! There was plenty of parking and it was super easy to find. One thing I wish I had knew ahead of time is that they strongly prefer cash. While they do have an ATM in-store, I would have preferred to know beforehand and avoid the extra ATM fee. I was so nervous that my hand was shaking nearly the whole process. This is why I'm not super upset that it's not perfect, because it's kind of my own fault, but I think I might go in to get the right part of the cross touched up as it doesn't look the best right now.I picked this parlour because a friend who got two tattoos there previously recommended it to me and I'm so happy I went here!! Lefty' s tattoo is the absolute best shop in OC. I've come here for two different tattoos and have been more than happy with the work done on both occasions. The artists are all very friendly and are great at easing any nerves about getting tattooed. They take the time to answer all your questions and work with you to get an understanding of what you are looking for in your tattoo. Chris did my side piece here over the weekend and was amazing. He worked with me to get the positioning of the stencil just right on my smaller stature, and was very understanding of the pain I was experiencing getting tattooed on my rib cage allowing me to take two breaks during what would have otherwise been a short session. 100% would recommend and return to him for future tattoos. Went into leftys today and got a hip piece done by Chris Burger. I have been thinking about this tattoo for over 2 years and Chris made it come to life for me!! I am so happy with his work and he was so fast that it didn't hurt as much as my other tattoos. It is currently 9:10 and after talking to someone on the phone about walking in to have 3 small words tattooed on my chest I was turned away. The guy who was sweeping told me he was getting ready to take off. They have on the yelp and the shop front the hours "12 pm to 10pm". Since they moved to the new larger location, it is cleaner and not so crowded.  I go to Jason (J-Dogg) have nothing but good things to say about him and the place.  He is an old school tattooist which is what I wanted.  They are always busy!  Always.  I have only been there once where everyone was not working, and it didn't take long for a walk in to show up and they were all once again working.  To me that says something about the place and the quality of the artists.  The artist here are top notch.Have had both arms done by J-Dogg and plan on using him again for my back piece! I have only gone to this parlor twice for the same tattoo but both experiences were awesome. The artists are friendly and it's a positive vibe all through out the shop. Prices are super reasonable as well!For my first session, my artist ryan was super understanding about me needing to take a break here and there during my 4 hours of getting tattooed. My second session was only around an hour but I was still just as comfortable as the first time around.Like I said Ryan did my tattoo, and he's amazing at what he does. Just had two tattoos done in the last month by J-DOGG and I couldn't be happier with them. His work is amazing. I came in with what I thought was a pretty complicated piece, but he nailed it. He worked with me to get it exactly the way I wanted it, gave me suggestions on how to make it stand out more, and then knocked it out in one quick sitting. My second tattoo done by him? Same story. I'll post some pictures. You can read all the reviews you want about a tattoo shop or artist, but until you see the work they do, it's pretty hard to convince anyone. And I need to apologize to the other tattoo shops I've reviewed. They were good and I'm happy with my tattoos I got there when I got them, but J-Dogg is the only one I'll ever go back to! Read Less

The rose is for my daughter Sarah who has drawn some beautiful pictures for me of roses. The thorns are for my daughter Jacque who's battleling drugs.
