This place is extremely cool! They think about preparation and placement and don't rush you. They accommodate walk ins. All the artists are talented and can do a variety of styles. Theyre freakin nice and don't judge you. They're hilarious. I scheduled with Kim from the go. I just had a feeling she could do what I wanted and I was 100% right. I'm going back in a month for another one with her. She tattooed EXACTLY what I wanted and how we talked about it. No surprises. She helped so much with placement and size too. She's a great artist and has a good soul you can just tell. I'm excited to keep seeing her (in a non creepy way). 2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I saw Lincoln for kind of a last minute tattoo we were both gonna get- freakin comedian that guy. The tattoo we wanted was pretty small and thin and probably annoying for him, but he was very open to it- drew up exactly what we wanted somehow when we arrived it was just perfect. Chantel responded super quickly to all our inquiries. We started scheduling 2 weeks beforehand for 3 people (4 tattoos) and she was incredibly accommodating. When we arrived, Kim greeted us and helped us get started. Kim did one, Ramon did the other 3. The entire process was quick and easy. I got a foot tattoo of a butterfly from Colin and was very pleased with the result! You will be greeted by Natalie who is super nice and sweet and she will help set you up with an artist. Colin is hilarious and talented and I highly recommend him. I also love how they use tegaderm for their tattoos. Much faster and better way to heal than the regular traditional dry healing process. After, they drew up my tattoo in different sizes and price point. Found the one I liked and my tattoo artist Lincoln did an excellent job on my tattoo. At first he did a small line so I know what it will feel like, it didn't hurt much and he was very gentle when tatting me. I walked in on December 1st just to discuss the design and ask about price, but I walked out with a cutely tattoo 40 minutes later. This is my first one so I was pretty nervous of course. Huero was my tattoo artist, he was so kind and patient to help me choosing the font. Since it wasn't crowded on Saturday afternoon, he said I could get it done in only 10 minutes. I have been looking for a tattoo shop in Orange County for about a week now and my choice finally came down with FTW. I emailed the shop the day before I was visiting to see what appointments they have available and received a response from the manager in a timely manner. She was very informative and helpful. Unfortunately, they didn't have any available appointments but they do welcome walk ins. I came in on a Sat an hour before they closed and I was fortunate enough that they were able to fit me in. Everybody at the shop was very welcoming and friendly. Since this was my first tattoo, I started off small.My tattoo artist, Felix, went through the whole process of a tattoo from beginning to after care and even made sure I was comfortable with the design and placement. I found this business on Yelp. Yeah! I LOVE them. I sent an email and received a response, two hours prior to the shop opening, from a friendly and helpful lady. My daughter and I went in the next day and met with Ramon for me and Felix for my daughter. I wanted (needed) a small Winnie The Pooh and a bee on my wrist - my daughter needed a cover-up which is quite intricate. I was able to have my Pooh done within 15 minutes of arrival by Ramon. Felix saw pictures my daughter brought in and started to draft a tat predicated on said photos. She has an appointment 3 days from our visit.Everyone there was incredibly kind. This review is for Dave G!I was looking through Yelp for tattoo parlors near my house. This was going to be my 4th tattoo done and I felt like visiting a new parlor for this one. A parlor near home would be a lot more convenient since all the ones I've been to have been decently far. I stumbled upon Fine Tattoo Work, and I'm really glad I did!I messaged the parlor through Yelp on 10/17 and asked if there were any artists available on 10/22 to tattoo a small watercolor piece on me. I received a reply within an hour from Chantal, the manager, and she told me who should be available, and a lot more information I needed to know. Since I was free on this day, I drove to the parlor for a free consultation. I asked for an artist mentioned in the message, that being Dave G. I talked him through about my idea, tattoo placement, etc. and was able to walk about with an appointment booked! He had two large appointments on 10/22, but was kind enough to book me after one of his long sessions. I appreciated this a lot and was stoked to see him again.Fast foward 5 days, I made it to the appointment. Dave went over the details of my piece with me to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. We made a couple tweaks on the piece, adjusted the size, and not long after, the tattooing process began. I absolutely love how it came out! Obviously, with it being my first, I scoured the internet and social media for my tattoo parlor and artist of choice. Unlike other tattoo parlors who took on a casual messaging style, I felt like I was in good hands with Chantal. Next, I went through their website to find my preferred artist. Ramon Solano's portfolio quickly stood out to me due to his clean lines and precision work. I went in around a week later, ready for my first tattoo. The tattoo I wanted was small and behind my ear, so because of placement, my tiny tattoo cost me $80. Ramon sketched out exactly what I wanted, and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Overall, my experience was great. Yes, I could've found a cheaper tattoo parlor, but because it was my first, I'm glad that I went to Fine Tattoo. I never felt any concern, and I LOVE my tattoo. I came here and Felix Finch did a jellyfish tattoo the length of my arm and it was such a great experience! During the consultation, he was just a chill guy and was super easy going. I've known the owner Lucky for a long time, since before he moved his studio to this location. I have a large koi fish done by him some 15 years ago. Now he is working on my full-body tattoo. Lucky works really fast and has a light touch with the needles. I once fell asleep on the table while he was working on me. The icing on the cake is that Lucky had been trained by and worked with Horiyoshi III whom many consider to be the tattoo God. I walked in with a sketch of a custom design in the afternoon and was able to make an appointment for the same evening with the very talented Ben. It was a tricky design, mostly consisting of perfect circles, which another local shop said would be problematic. Ben assured me that although it would be tough, he could do it, and he didn't let me down. The support crew provides great customer service. I just got my nose pierced at FTW and let me tell you how amazing my piercer was! Angella was super helpful, patient and sweet!!! My boyfriend said that she looks like a doctor. She made me feel totally relaxed and comfortable.The place is extremely clean and friendy. It did not look like one of those dirty tattoo shops. So far I have not had any problems with my piercing but if I do, I know that I have Angella to guide me and help me with any problem. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to FTW for a piercing or a tattoo. After doing extensive research, I decided to get my nose pierced at this location. When I first walked up, Angella, the piercer, has outside and very nicely said hi and asked how she could help me. When I let her know what I wanted done, she took me inside, got the paperwork out of the way and started to set up. She was COMPLETELY sweet, patient and answered all my ""first-timer"" questions. The place was IMPECCAPLE and she guided me through the quick and easy procedure the entire time. She thouroughly explained the cleaning procedures, what I could expect, etc. and made herself available for any further questions I could have down the road. VERY courteous, friendly service!
