I came here and got tattooed about 2 years ago the tattoo artist doing my rib tattoo was commenting on my nipple piercings and feeling me up during my tattoo. Despite that, I liked the finished product and came back today for another tattoo. I got the same tattoo artist and he was extremely rude from the start. He was smoking weed and clearly high while trying to place my tattoo and when I attempted to ask questions about placing the tattoo he answered with rude and unprofessional responses. My friend who came with me was so displeased that she opted to sit in the car rather than witness his disrespect toward me(the client). Ultimately, I decided to leave without getting the tattoo. He responded with "great," turned to his colleague and said "kicking them out." If this is the customer service you like.. come here. They're great at it.

I know somebody who's short and Fonky! Ha.. Isn't Too Short from Oakland? ANYWAYS, I love Fonk he is such a cool and meticulous artist. I remember when this place had it's grand opening celebration. I hung out with the owner and talk with all the artist. Everybody was real cool and good nature people. Initially I was considering another artist but a year later I went in and actual had some work done. I had 5 drop in's consulting with Fonk if not more. SMDH. A tattoo artist (who I should put on blast) but I can't even remember the name of the place) scarred and damaged my skin. The tattoo was so poorly done it kept me debating, analyzing, and philosophizing on what I was going to do. I met Fonk and he has been in my corner the whole way. (He is low key my therapist in my head.) He answered all my questions, and was receptive to the 5,000 texts I sent him. Smh. I swear this process took another 8 months but Fonk has a memory like a elephant and no matter how much time had passed he remembered me. Maybe, because I am a little unforgettable especially if you bug the hell out of somebody for a year. jeez.. (IJS). This review is well over due but I decided to get a temporary cover up and some writing. Anyways, Fonk is very knowledgeable about the ink he uses for all skin types. He is OCD about his space/materials being sanitary. Yea, he don't play that. My recovery and healing process has been miraculous. We always listen to music and shot the sh!t. The shop itself has a dark entrance but the artist space is big and airy. I recently text Fonk about the healing process of another tattoo I got done some where else. He texted me back and said use your Aquafora 3-4 times a day "you should be fine". He's worth more than his prices and I wont ever lose contact with this guy. He is one of a kind and as genuine as they can come. Ink N Thngz is alright by me. The place is in East Oakland so park with caution. I haven't had no issues though.

Also the place is very clean and I was satisfied with the work they did on me. I would definitely recommend anybody to come and check out this place. Ask for fonk or Morningstar they will take care of all your needs.

I love this place they were great the customer service the attention to detail and great conversation. Fonk is the best he did an awesome job on my tatoo and he is the truth hands down. It healed good and I receive many compliments on such a great jog that he did. I will return soon this place is a good hidden jewel right in the heart of east Oakland. Don't be surprised by the area the work and service truly rock!!!!!

We came across ink n thaygnz, thought the name was cool�, called and spoke with someone at the shop, was told to come check out the place. We got there and was met by Fonk. He made us feel at home right away, great vibe. My friend Loves his tattoo, thank you Fonk, you are awesome!�.

I was informed about the shop from a friend. I was looking for someone to cover up a bullet wound scare. My friend told me LS does great scare cover-ups! (I will admit I was skeptical at first) However, I can honestly say he did a phenomenal job, the scare is non- existence! He exceeded my expectations for what I wanted (basic flower nothing fancy) but he gave me better! My tattoo has depth,precision, and it's my favorite color Pink! I've set up some future appointments to add a few more pieces too it! The staff is very welcoming and funny. I had a ball watching Fonk get his butt kicked in pool by my girl! Great Hospitality!

Heard about the shop through a mutual friend decided to check it out for myself. I walked in with no appointment which was no problem, only waited about 5min for an artist. Fonk was very pleasant, professional made me feel very comfortable and to top it off my tattoo is awesome. I will definitely go back to complete my sleeve.

This was my first tattoo done at this shop and I must say I have never had a tattoo that was as painless as this tattoo. I was really taken back by the fact I didn't have any bleeding and the finishing of my tattoo there was No swelling and very little redness. I have been following on Facebook and had noticed on everything I had seen was a clean finish. Now I ...know why the artist know what he is doing! I wasn't bothered by the noise you usually hear from the tattoo gun that have you like I'll be glad when this is over. This is the place to Go to for a relaxing professional experience it is really Ink Therapy at it's finest! A experience that will keep you wanting more and more work done. I'm definitely going to go back. I highly recommended that you go there for all of your tattoo desires you will be as excited as I am and you will forever be glad that you choose to have your tattoo of a life time done there Period!!! I came here and got tattooed about 2 years ago the tattoo artist doing my rib tattoo was commenting on my nipple piercings and feeling me up during my tattoo. Despite that, I liked the finished product and came back today for another tattoo. I got the same tattoo artist and he was extremely rude from the start. He was smoking weed and clearly high while trying to place my tattoo and when I attempted to ask questions about placing the tattoo he answered with rude and unprofessional responses.
