I wanted to get a belly-button piercing, so I called and made an appointment. They answered immediately and we set up a time. When I got there I signed the liability form and laid down in the chair. She clamped my belly-button (it took her a few tries) and then when she stuck the needle in, it wasn't just a quick poke like it's supposed to be. This woman slowly poked the needle through my skin and it was one of the most painful experiences.  And it turned out crooked! My sister got her nipples pieced here and she did the same thing! She slowly stuck the needle in (she went through the skin outside of the nipples) and caused her so much pain too. I'm never going back here again. Read Less

This was hands down the best experience I've had at a tattoo shop. There were 3 of us there to get inked and James and Milton had no problems working with us. Everyone here is so friendly and makes you feel at home, but even better, they make you feel like you can say "do you think we can do this or that instead" without belittling you like some artists do. Tatoo looks beautiful!  The tatoo artist Milton was completely unprofessional. Was making very inappropriate remarks to my daughter and made her very uncomfortable. Very good experience getting my lebret piercing here... Almost passed out, but the piercer girl knew exactly what to do and saved me from embarrassing myself! I called 1/8 in the afternoon asking if they openings this day. They did. So I drove right over and got placed with Art (oz). I got 2 tattoos done. Art explained everything and helped me design my idea. He is very detail oriented, great with his lines. I love my tattoos so much! They are still healing but looking great! First tattoo done here by milton . he worked with me for hours b4 even starting on custom design . we could not get anything to work so he drew it out by hand. Pretty unhappy with the work and even more frustrated with the absolutely ABYSMAL follow up they've provided. My girlfriend and I went in on August 14th and had tattoos done by Chris Benson on a walk in appointment. The session itself was good, and they all said if we had any issues to please call them for a follow up in case any extra work needed to be done. About a week into the healing process I noticed that some of the ink on my tattoo hadn't held properly and it was definitely going to need a touch up at some point in the future. There are a few large spots where the ink didn't hold and it really distorts the look of the tattoo. My girlfriend is as well pretty unhappy with the shading work done on her design. I called Chris' cell phone and left more than one message to no avail. I've also called the shop FOUR times. I've left two messages and have two separate people take my information down saying they would have an artist call me. I've yet to receive a single call back. On the last call I made we were notified that Chris is no longer an employee of Black Widow (In the course of less than a month! That comes across as SUPER shady) but that they would call us back very soon with options on what we can do to get our tattoos touched up. We both decided to give it at least four days before leaving a review, but now I feel like I'm kind of forced to because we still haven't received even the smallest bit of follow up. I really don't like leaving bad reviews on businesses but they've left me no choice. Their service has been absolutely unprofessional, and this whole situation comes across as MASSIVELY shady. Now my girlfriend and I have tattoos that aren't up to the standards that they seemingly pride themselves on and have been doing nothing short of dodging us on a follow up call. I don't even want a refund on the work or anything. I just want them to fix the mess that's been made so I'm not stuck with a sub par looking tattoo. Read Less

After getting an appointment for 7/18,  I walked in and was greeted by both the lady at the desk, as well as Art. After consulting with what I wanted, and receiving several helpful tips on size and position, It was time to start tattooing. Being my first time getting a tattoo, I was a little nervous, however he calmed my nerves by making sure that I was comfortable at all times, as well as making sure that the template was at the right spot and angle.  Lines were perfect, as well as the script I got on my ribs. Was researching tattoo shops in the area near my house and came across the amazing reviews for Black Widow. I had driven by several times but never stopped in. I went by to get an idea about a quote for a portrait of my dog and was instantly quoted 300! I thought it would be way more so when I am ready for that one I am for sure going back. But while I was there I had James finish my Fleur De Lis New Orleans Saints logo that another artist had started somewhere else but never had finished. He was awesome listened to how i wanted it had me look over it to see if I wanted more ink added. So professional and a great artist and nice dude overall. I was referred here by my sister and I'm so happy I finally found a great artist. My go to guy is Art, he does great work and takes any idea I have and makes it 10x better than I expected. I had a very faded tattoo on my foot that I just hated and I couldn't stand to look at it anymore so I came and had it redone and it looks great now.
