I was and still am thrilled to go back to Julio who did an amazing job! The only thing that made me feel just the smallest amount uncomfortable was when I walked in, I felt like nobody that was there really was interested in taking the walk in that I had already spoken to them about it. I went to Simms for my first tattoo and it was a great experience. I came as a walk in and they fit me in and even called me to let me know they had another opening. The lady at the desk was so nice and helpful and really cared about her customers. The tattoo artist, Miles, mixed two of my designs together and made it just what I wanted (photo in the yelp gallery).  Every one was so nice and friendly and the place was huge and clean and made me feel so comfortable. Everyone that works here was so friendly. Me and my hubby both got tattoos for our daughter. She was 12 months when we went and they were totally fine with letting us bring her with. This place is great! I've gotten two of my three tattoos here and I love them both. Juan and Velvet are both great apprentices at Simms and I would highly recommend them. The only negative thing I experienced here was a long wait to get my tattoo even though I had an appointment but, I understood because the reason was the person before was still getting their tattoo done. I needed to have a piercing that was done while I was on vacation in the midwest corrected.  Post was too short and stud was too small and it was getting painful.  April had me in and out in no time flat.  She was very gentle taking out the old stud and had the new one in so fast I didn't even know she'd done it.  Everyone was very nice to me and very helpful.  April was great and has an excellent touch. I really do hate do this but don't ever go here for a piercing. April was very nice but must be inexperienced considering the fact that she gave me the wrong piercing. I went in there to get a Daith piercing in each ear. She gave me a forward helix piercing (the wrong piercing) in one ear. Then proceeded to slice her own finger open she she couldn't do the other ear. I didn't really get a chance to notice that the piercing was wrong in the shop because she cut herself. She was on her way to the hospital it all happened kinda quick. She never had me sign a waiver. I never got aftercare instructions. I regret paying cash I wish I could get my money back. My wife called today to let April know what happened and that she gave me the wrong piercing. She did say the words I'm sorry but she finished by trying to blame me. Then blaming her ear piercing diagram. Either way not someone I would recommend to anyone who wants anything pierced. I will finish by saying I know this shop does amazing tattoo work. The artist are all amazing and have their own styles . I have my guy top scerct info lol they put me  and tattoo on the post card for the shop a few years back!!! I was like that's me! ROCK ON I am sure you can find your gal or guy to ink you here because they have a great pool of artists ! I love love sims . I felt like other shops in the area were Dixs and it's a lot of cash and for life ! SIMs ink treats me with respect and dignity ever time! You can use plastic money that is I nice as well... Got tatted by Urbano... and he's a really coo guy. He's not heavy handed at all and has a dope portfolio. Came in for a simple tat and I must say I'm very pleased with how it came out. Lines were perfectly staright. He added a little white to create more depth... wasn't something I requested but am happy he did. I would definitely recommend his work and will becoming back. I have personally only been tattooed by Blair, but she has completely covered a very large tattoo on my leg as well as other tattoos. I feel welcome here and appreciated. After waiting in their waiting room for 30 minutes to FINALLY tell my friend and I that they wouldn't do our tattoos (for a shop minimum of $100 for a solid red line tattoo), we were sitting in the waiting room waiting for our ride. They kicked us out of the waiting room and threatened to call the police if we didn't leave... All because we didn't want to receive a simple solid line tattoo for $100. The front desk staff was completely rude and unprofessional. They acted totally "cocky" and arrogant after we said $100 was WAY too much for a solid line tattoo. I would go literally ANYWHERE else but here. Being from the Bay Area, you can get the same exact tattoo for maybe $50 or $60 shop minimum. PLEASE spend your money elsewhere. You'll be glad you did. The people working here were beyond rude. Not only were they beyond rude about tattooing for a price, but they had an attitude when we questioned their 120 shop minimum for a basic small finger tattoo.  The place was clean, but the employees acted arrogant - because they are supposedly "among the best in napa". Me and my friends got our tattoos done here! At first it looked weird from the outside because it's a yellow building that looked like a chapel, but when we got in the place was incredibly clean, modern and nice. It is different from all the tattoo shops I've been to! The artists were really friendly and awesome! They give you suggestions and are very honest with your ideas. Our tattoos came out really great!
