I'm so disappointed with my tattoo, I'm too embarrassed to wear shorts until I find someone else to fix it!  I've had all my tattoos done at Clear Vision, and am very pleased with all of them......except THIS one.  I was so excited about getting this one, too!  I DO want to add that the staff is very courteous and polite and the shop is VERY clean!  The young man that did my tattoo was professional and a pleasure to talk to.  I actually went back to him once my tattoo healed and voiced my concerns.  He understood and was agreeable about "fixing" it.  Well, unfortunately, it came out worse the second time around, and I am now looking for someone else to 'patch it up,' if they can!  It's a shame that I won't be going back ~ I really like the artists! I had my septum pierced by Amanda and it was so quick and painless. I ended up going back to get my nipples pierced as well. Then one of my piercings healed over and when I tried to reach out to her about it she left me on read. I ended up going to another place to get it fixed because I didn't feel comfortable going back to the same person who wouldn't respond to me when I asked for help. I genuinely like to believe accidents happen, but the piercer at the other place told me that she used the wrong size bar on my right hand nipple and that's why it healed that way.  He said it was a possibility that she might've run out of the right size and just decided to use a smaller one; if that was the case I would've rather been told I'd have to come another day or make a second appointment than run such high risk of infection and body rejection. Amanda is amazing! she's pierced my belly button and my nipples as well as my friends nipple and boyfriends tongue. piercings with Amanda are definitely the most amazing experiences i've had. you can tell she loves what she is doing and cares about how the piercing will look unlike some piercers who try to get it over with quickly. she is patient and talks you through what is going on as well as answered all the questions you may have. i was nervous to pierce my nipples but she made me feel very comfortable and calm. i would highly recommend her to all my friends and family who are thinking about getting something pierced!! I wish I could give a better rating especially because someone referred me here. Unfortunately I did a walk in and I probably should have made an appointment with Rick because he was the artist that was suggested. The tattoo artist I got was less experienced and my tattoo was pretty simple. All I asked for was a feather with ocean colors. Half way through the tattoo he decides to do water color, which I know nothing about. But I trusted him since he's the "artist". He also started doing colors that I don't like so half way through I try to ask him to correct it. He didn't communicate in how he was going to proceed until it was in the middle of my tattoo. I had to let it go and thought maybe it would turn out ok. He covered it right away and told me to keep it covered for 5 days (which I had never done with previous tattoos). So I couldn't see the outcome until almost a week later. It honestly looked like a kid drew it on me. The colors were terrible and made my skin look bruised. I have other tattoos but I've never been this disappointed. I waited a while and went somewhere else to have it covered up. So I definitely won't be back to Clear Vision tattoo. This is no offense to the owner because his work looks awesome but the less experienced artists should be supervised more. I won't mention his name. I got my first tattoo from Rick here! I was sooo nervous because I hate needles. Rick was so patient. He explained the process to me. Showed me samples of what it will look like. I needed a 10 year old lobe piercing re-pierced that had closed up. I had gotten it when I was 12 with a gun at claire's, and it had always given me trouble. I called in the morning and was told what time the piercer was available. Within 5 minutes of walking in, I was seen by Amanda and she was so incredibly nice! She first tried to get my earring through the closed hole, but ended up needing to pierce it with a needle. She distracted me and made the piercing process way less scary and painful than I thought. Some tattoo/piercing shops can feel intimidating walking into, but not here. They make you feel very comfortable and are happy to answer any questions you may have. I came in with my roommates to get 2 tattoos and 1 belly button piercing between 3 people and even though we came as a walk in Kayden helped each of us out without rush! He and Juan made the atmosphere super chill and very relaxed, especially for my friends being first time piercings and tattoos. I wanted my tattoo to be very small and crisp and Kayden worked with me to get exactly what I wanted in the perfect place! All of us left super happy. And for the tattoos we got a new bandage that helps the healing process happen quicker with less peeling and fading (I don't know 100% what I'm talking about but this is what I was told). Most professional atmosphere you will find, convenient and upscale location, so you can come right in without getting stared down by the local rif-raf out front, which sadly is often the case with other tattoo studios. Rick would not allow any artist with less than the best talent and skills to work in his studio. My wife and I had our wedding bands redone by an artist here, and I also had a chest piece done. I came in on the last Friday the 13th for a tattoo and had such great service not only from the artist but the rest of the staff. They create a comfortable atmosphere in a shop that could easily be intimidating. I had such a great experience that I took my little sister there for ear piercings, and she had a great experience as well. After her piercings had healed, she wasn't able to get the earrings out on her own. We went back into the shop to ask for help to remove the piercings and the woman who was in was not the same one who had pierced my sister's ears but offered to help all the same. I've been wanting to touch-up my tattoo for a while now and the person I usually go to was unfortunately not there today. So I ended up calling Clear Vision Tattoo hoping that they had an availability and the person working there, Chris, told me to come on in. THANK GOD.I entered the store and it was completely empty, which I guess is kind of nice because it gives me a little privacy since my tattoo is located on my lower hip. Chris immediately introduced himself to me and got to work right away. Throughout the procedure, we had really good conversations, which is the best because you're sitting there with a stranger for at least an hour. Last year, my husband and I decided to get almost-matching tattoos for our anniversary. We both got a different style compass rose on our ribs. We got great service from 2 artists (I believe Rene and Richie) and were able to get the tattoos done at the same time. The shop was clean and the guys were very professional. I am an absolute fan. I was looking to get another set of earlobe piercings, and had been striking out finding a shop that was clean and reasonably priced. Clear Vision is both, and everyone there is completely professional. Michael did a great job on my earrings, and kept me totally informed about what he was doing. These were my fifteenth and sixteenth piercings altogether, fifth and sixth earlobe piercings in particular, and I still learned something about how it's done.
