I've searching for the right place for a long time and the moment I walked in and talked to the guy i knew that I was gonna get it there. There's something about the place that made me feel at home. I came in to get tattoos with my friends it was super last minute and we looked on yelp and found this place. The reviews seemed legit and we were getting our first tattoos so we trusted the reviews. We walked in and nobody asked to see our id or anything which should've been a sign to go somewhere else but we didn't think about that at the time then one of the artists Ryan was going on and on about how he's new and not experienced with shading and all the fancy stuff which was fine with us because we were coming in to get simple pieces anyways. All I wanted was a little heart outline about the size of a nickel and he drew up the outline and it all looked good but when he finished tattooing I had noticed he made the heart completely lopsided and i was pissed, all my friends noticed too so we said something and he had the audacity to try and flip it around on me when he had clearly messed up. My friends were complaining as well and that's when Alex intervened looked at my tattoo and he was like "oh I thought you wanted a crooked heart" like wtf obviously not. After that Alex took Ryan to the back and you could hear them yelling and Alex came back out and said he'd try and fix it so he was drawing out a new pattern and it definitely looked better but he said something during the tattoo that was unbelievable. He specifically said that he knew Ryan was new and he DIDNT THINK HE WAS CAPABLE OF TATTOOING. So I'm sitting there beyond pissed because this dude knew someone wasn't ready but then still allowed this whole situation to happen what kind of person are you. Then as if this wasn't bad enough other friend who got a tattoo got her done by Alex too and apparently he was flirting with her the whole time and he made her feel so uncomfortable about tipping she waited in the car until I was done in the shop. Although I appreciate Alex doing his best to fix my tattoo he never should've let Ryan pick up that tattoo gun until he felt fully confident I will never go back and I'll make sure to tell all of my friends to stay away. Asked for a small septum done. I needed one I was able to tuck in at my job. I made it clear as long as it was small enough to tuck in I was fine with the size. He put a huge piece of jewelry in that hung right on the top of my lip. His response was "well it was perfect for the other guy that just came in..." I'm a tiny 5 foot girl. That guy was a full grown man. Of course sizes would be different. Again I told him I needed one that I can tuck in for work. He had to re-pierce my nose again just to put in another piece of jewelry only slightly smaller and again I couldn't tuck in. Hung right above my lip still. I just left it at that point. He obviously didn't have smaller pieces of jewelry which he could have just told me from the beginning. And he did my piercing way too low. Had to take the Jewelry out and u can clearly see the hole all the way at the bottom of my nose. Went to two other shops to get opinions and they all thought the jewelry was way too huge for me and that my piercing should have been done higher. Please next time if you are having trouble or don't have the sizes people are asking for in let the person know. And don't compare a full grown mans face to a tiny petite face. This is a very disappointing experience, especially after seeing great reviews about the shop and Alex. First of all, no paperwork was signed. They did not even ask for an ID. I communicated with him over texts. We scheduled for 7. I waited for a little more than a hr, which is fine because I thought he really paid attention to his clients. I saw the two tattoos before me; those were great. I brought  my drawing and said he could make whatever changes to make it look better as a tattoo. He said all was good to go. He was chill and seemed cool. Everything was fine until the end (I don't micro-manage, so I didn't ask him to stop tattooing to check on his work in the middle of the session. Also, I actually do think trust is very important, and sadly this time it did me wrong). First he missed several parts of the design, then I had to point out those missing parts to him. I went back to get my helmet and saw empty beer bottles on his work station--my heart sunk. I knew the tattoo would turn out to be a shoddy work. I went home, looked closely, and realized that there were so many parts of the tattoo that showed a careless work. He said he had been tattooing for 9 years, but I cannot understand why he couldn't tell the differences in shapes, line angles, gaze, etc. The more disappointing part was the lack of basic tattooing skills (setting the ink in, line work, etc.). Pictures speak for a thousand words. I found another artist to tattoo it (for the second time, I changed the font of the words--my drawing progression is shown in attached photos) again on my left arm, and again pictures tell more truths than words. I actually tipped Alex 20 percent. It is cash only, so well; what can I do? The new artist is going to help me  do a cover-up tattoo. To be fair, I would say, I had a good artist during a bad hour when he seemed not caring about tattooing during my session. If bad tattoos and rude management is what you like, I highly suggest this place. After talking my brother out of a tattoo that seemed improperly drawn, the "manager" rudely intervened and spoke to my mother in an unprofessional manner, he showed his poorly done tattoos expecting a change of heart. Pinky is a pure soul and an amazing piercer, I went in looking to distract myself from a bad day so I wanted to pierce my Medusa. I immediately became anxious and afraid and had a small panic attack, but Pinky found a way to ease my mind by repiercing my bellybutton for free to get me used to the feeling. Like many people posting these reviews, I too decided to get my first tattoo here. It was a spur of the moment thing for my sister's birthday and she wanted to get sibling tattoos with me and my brother. When we got there we decided to get a simple quarter shaped heart tattoo, which ended up costing  $60 a pop for a tattoo that took under 2 minutes to complete. The other thing that I found offensive was how dirty the bathroom was there was ants crawling on the walls alongside a dirty ass mop bucket, and an outdated porn calendar, which I found offensive because it wasn't up to date. The one last thing that bothered me was the amount of sexists tattoos on the walls, i.e the ones that most rapey guys get of a demon or women with tits out. The last thing that upset me was that my sister accidentally over tipped the guy by about $20, when she meant to give him a 10. The guy was chill with our tattoos, but he looked he seemed like a very greasy and shady guy. I liked how the tattoo came out, but because it was so simple I can't say it would've required much skill to put on. I can't say I'd get my next tattoo here. Read Less

My friend and I wanted to get our first tattoos, We were going to go to another location but read really bad reviews, So we decided to give this tattoo shop a try and were very much so satisfied with the service, the tattoo artists were very patient and were really friendly. My friend had the owner do her tattoo and My tattoo was done by Alex, He was very patient and paid a lot to detail So I really felt comfortable and at ease knowing he was careful. Overall the end result was well worth it, paid a decent price and tipped them because they really deserved it.After two weeks of what i feel was decent and proper care, as followed from the business cards that they provided with care information, the tattoo looks almost completely healed.
