Definitely the place to go if you want a clean, knowledgeable establishment to be responsible for your piercings. I got my second lobe piercings done and an industrial bar. I was intimidated at first that it wasn't going to be done with a gun but after Jeremy explained reasoning for every step he took, it made my whole experience comfortable and worth while. I had to wait about an hour and a half due to a large group ahead of me but I'm sure glad I didn't go anywhere else because it was worth the wait no doubt. I am so glad I chose Sin Cal to get my daith piercing at, I was so nervous because I have never gotten a piercing that couldn't be done with a gun (quick and easy right?) lol well Jeremy proved that he is way better than a gun piercing because it was quick, painless and perfect placement (not to mention my daith didn't bleed at all! While doing my many YouTube searches it seemed like the daith piercing was a blood drawer). I found Sin Cal here on Yelp. I live in San Diego and was researching the area since it's crazy expensive down here and I was visiting friends nearby. I called a few days prior to inquire about walking in on the weekend. The gentleman I spoke with (don't recall his name) was very professional and had great energy. I called the day before walking in to check availability and made an appointment with Justin because this tattoo was happening.Justin was very professional and easy to work with. We spoke about the non-negotiables of that tattoo. I gave him freedom to do what he wanted with the rest of it. I was mostly happy with it when he revealed his artwork. There was nothing wrong with the work on his end, it just wasn't ideal for me to put on my body at that point...I'm picky. I asked him to make a few specific tweaks to it and he delivered EXACTLY what I requested right then and there. All in all, super clean spot, friendly people working there, and Justin was super efficient and full of answers to all my questions. I've gotten several piercings at Sin Cal Industries. (upper lobe, industrial and helix). I was always very happy with the service and professionalism. They ask you questions about how you want it done and make sure that you are satisfied with the result. I had a piercing done there and it was totally crooked. I asked for a re-pierce and the guy proceeded to make fun of my nose which was scarred up because of an abusive situation. I was mortified. It would have taken a few minutes for a re-pierce and it would have been done, but he had to insult me and bring up painful trauma. We are a Christian family with no tattoos until January 2018, my son's 18th birthday.I'd researched for at least a year to find someone local who's art I liked, and told my son about Carl Storts.  Son agreed he liked Carl's work.  I called Carl.  Carl got us in.The business is clean, visually artistic, and super cool.  Each staff member was friendly and helpful.My daughter and I were allowed to watch the process.  Carl was calm, friendly, and explained what he was doing before he did it, while also explaining what son should do as a newby.The tattoo, while probably boring for such a great artist, was a Bible verse son likes, and Carl did an excellent job on it that son is extremely happy with.  He made good suggestions for it to turn out well, and it did!Carl has a great personality!  He for sure has different beliefs than us, but respected us and earned our respect at the same time.  He's really a wonderful man!His snakes are pretty fun to know more about, and his wife's work on the wall is pretty impressive too.We'll be back! My first piercing (nipples/male)! Jeremy was awesome and I got lines drawn on me first so I knew exactly what I was getting before I got it. He spent a lot of time going back and forth making sure the guidelines were perfect and, in the end, he placed the piercing exactly where I wanted! The pain wasn't bad at all. The price was half what I was expecting (so I made sure to tip well and you should too!). Also, I came in fairly late but I wasn't being rushed out the door; in fact, quite the opposite. One star for the customer service. I have been here a couple times for my own piercing and a friends piercing with no hassle. However, I had a rude experience my last time I visited. Please note: For a simple change of piercing I had to wait 2 hours to even see a piercer as well as other patients too with only 2 girls as a pair ahead of all of us holding everyone back 2 hours which seemed a bit much of wait time. Upon asking the front desk lady nicely how much longer a random man with long hair who looks like he is in a biker gang who I usually see chilling outside smoking rudely interrupted and said "its first come first serve what don't you get about that." As he is saying this he is staring me down and pumping up his chest and then the lady just disappears and I reply back with "I wasn't talking to you (shaking my head)," and then my piercer came out of nowhere and took me in. The experience was not pleasant and not customer friendly. I went back 2 weeks later the same man was outside and he stared me down till I walked in and then i overheard him speaking to another man talking bad about me, I feel uncomfortable coming into this place especially if that man is present. I don't mind so much the waiting even though 2 hours was too long but, the customer service needs a looking at. Customers should not feel uncomfortable and challenged rudely like that. Read Less

I went here yesterday and I was suuuuuper scared. This was my first piercing (besides my ears) that I got done and everyone who knows me knows how much I HATE needles!!!! Once I actually got there he Jeremy calmed me down by educating me on the whole process. He’s incredibly smart and super real!!! He’ll make sure he aligns the markings perfectly before actually piercing you. He’s very dedicated! Decided to get my Tragus pierced after thinking about it for a month...Sin Cal is across from my office and I thought let'sGo! Reviews are damn good!!Walked in and told em what I wanted done and Anthony the piercer gave me some details and went to work! The employees are friendly & tend to you right away. Several of my friends have had positive experiences here with both tattoos and piercings. I myself have gotten two piercings here on separate occasions. My friend and I got our Daiths pierced for migraines on our right ears. I had a positive experience and so did she. I came back two days later to get my left side done as well. I have not experienced any migraines or infection at all. The piercing room looks like a surgical room! Everything is neat and clean in that manner as well. Everything was sterile as it should be and I had every confidence in the fact that he knew exactly what he was doing and did the piercing procedure in the proper order while maintaining cleanliness which as you can tell is important to me as it should be to anyone. I have been wanting to get my belly button pierced and I did as much research on places as I could. I was directed here through a friend. So, I made sure to look them up on yelp and read the reviews very thoroughly. I was PLEASED by what I read. The moment I walked in and started talking about what I wanted, I was so IMPRESSED by the great customer service and reassurance to ease my nerves. Awesome shop!  Clean, well-lit and all the staff is very professional.  I was able to get in for a large piece with James Hanna.  He's an award winning artist that has a wait list.  Get over it.  I waited over a year and I'm glad I did.  Are the artists cheap here?  Nope.  Get over it.  I wouldn't want a low-budget tattoo on me the rest of my life anyway.  You will see paintings and drawings hanging on the walls done by the artists that work there.  You will see they are truly talented, creative artists and not just copy machines.I felt so comfortable with Sin Cal, I sent my wife and daughter there for their nose piercings.  They loved the experience even though they hate needles.  The piercer was so professional and calm, neither one had any fear.  Keep up the incredible work Sin Cal! I went here to have my 1 yr old granddaughters ears pierced today. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Though of course at the piercing point my granddaughter she'd some tears it was short lived and she was happy and flirty to the guys when all was said and done. Lost a dermal top from my forehead surface bar and needed a replacement. Place was hidden in a small plaza, was clean and the staff were professional. These guys did an amazing job piercing my 1 year old's ears. First off, everyone was extremely courteous and professional. Secondly, it was VERY clean. The piercing room smelled strongly of disinfectant (not in a bad way), and you can tell that everything gets sanitized after each client. Thirdly, it took 2 people to pierce as they didn't want to put her through the trauma twice so they did it at the same time which was very considerate. You can tell these guys have kids too because they were really good with her even though she had a brief meltdown. She has had the earrings in for the past month now with absolutely no issues. I was originally going to No Limit when my friend suggested we go try this place out. Best decision ever. 3 of us were getting our nipples pierced and so nervous. Jeremy and his wife both educated us and made us feel comfortable about getting the piercings. I then ended up going back and getting my back dimples pierced. All my piercings healed amazing and are still great. I know some people have a lot of problems with dermals but I've had not a single problem. They haven't even had to be tightened after a full year.
