Had my ears pierced today! Luckily when I walked in it was empty so I was taken care of right away. Rob was there and he was super polite. Very very knowledgeable about piercings and what looks good and what is more suitable. So I ended up doing 2 extra piercings on each ear lobe. And the process was smooth. He dotted them to make sure I was satisfied with the placement, then I kept going back in forth in regards to whether I wanted the smaller earring in front of the larger one. So he would display them for me! He talked to me throughout the piercings to keep my mind off of it and would pierce at the point of your exhale so that was cool that he keeps that mind If you want a honest. Trustworthy. I feel so bad that I have driven McHenry numerous times and never realized this piercing shop was RIGHT THERE! I went here on a whim last week when I left a different shop unhappy. Rob was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel very comfortable. I got my Daith pierced (for mostly migraine reasons) and was originally going to do both ears. What person would talk me out of both? I mean, that's more money in the piercer's pocket right? Well, Rob puts his morals above his wallet and talked me into just doing one for now so that it will heal better and because often times one is all it takes to hit that pressure point. Super random stop in while a friend and I were in Modesto over the weekend.  We had time to kill before our Saturday night plans and I looked on Yelp to find a place to buy piece of jewelry for my tragus piercing that had fallen out and was lost.  I had also been wanting to get my rook pierced for a while down in SJ where im from but never got around to it.  Yelpers led us to Mystical Body and when we pulled up you can just tell by the outside how clean and organized this place was.  Well lit, spacious and luckily for me.. we were the only ones there.  Rob greeted us and helped me pick the jewelry I needed for my ear and listened to me contemplate for a while about whether or not I should go through with the other piercing I wanted.  Im sure my back and forth was a little irritating - but Im also sure he was well entertained just by the fact we were there. Anyway.. I finally decided to go through with my piercing and he also put in my tragus hoop for me too. I loooooooove my piercing and I love both pieces of jewelry I got too.  Rob was fun, and professional. Mystical Body is my go to place for piercings. Rob is the most educated piercer in Modesto. He tells you the pros and cons of a piercing and tells you if it is suited for your body. He isn't interested in your money, he is interested in your safety. He wants what is the safest for your body. I trust him with all of my piercings. I've gotten a total of 11 piercings from him and he does amazing every time. The jewelry is high quality and not that bull shit you buy off e-bay for $3. His prices are high but I'd rather pay good money for a good, safe and clean piercing then $15 for something that is unsanitary and pierced by someone who has little to no education about body anatomy/piercings. I heard about Rob at Mystical body from my sister & my niece. I get migraines & he offers the Daith piercing that can help relieve migraines. My niece has had several piercings done by Rob & she totally trusts him. Considering she is usually scared to death of needles (worse than me), I decided to give it a try. He was very knowledgeable & professional, walked me through the process & made me feel very comfortable. I was surprised that it was so quick & didn't hurt too bad.
