I have spent the past hour nursing my ear after a wild night with this horrendous piercing experience. I pierced my ear on December 2nd with Marv who sounded very knowledgable with piercings. He said he knew exactly where the best place on my ear should be and he chose the "best" jewelry to fit in my ear.After 3 months I started feeling pain tonight and I looked at my ear and I could not find my piercing. The jewelry was STUCK IN MY EAR. There was skin growing over the place where the jewelry was placed. The piece of jewelry was so small that it got pushed into the ear. I have never felt so much pain trying to break the skin so the jewelry can be outside of my ear again. I finally took out the piercing altogether and the tiny thing was soaked in blood as was my ear. The cartilage is puffed up cause of all the coagulated blood and my ear is literallly throbbing. I was so SO excited to pierce my ear and I finally got the chance to do it and now I am traumatized. I am sure Marv was very experienced and he made me feel so at ease in December but I really think he blew it on choosing that specific ear pierce for me as it was way too small. Now I have to wait for my ear to heal and find the courage to get another piercing. I am still in shock with my experience. Read Less

Ideally Marvin is the best piercer in the valley but was so bummed out that he doesn't take care of his returning clients well. Been trying to get a hold of him since December but no follow through. Got 5 piercings done at the time. My appointment was at 1, waited an extra 20mins or so for the floor to be "dry" and for him to arrive. Right before starting the procedure, the owner asks him if he ready to go to lunch.... knowing he just started with a client. It went smoothly until I need to contact him AFTER with questions and regarding changing the piercings. I barely changing my daith and tragus and it was the worse feeling not being able to remove the previous piercings. One of them had to be open to just remove out of my ear. The first time I went to this shop was actually to get my navel pierced back in 2015, following Marv when he started at Needle Pushers. Its a really cool place and each artist and piercer have their own little room which can make you feel a little more comfortable, as you dont have other people around watching you. I've been going to Marv to get all my piercings since about 2012/13. He's such a genuine, funny and caring guy. I was dying to get my second cartilage piercing so I went on yelp and called a few different places. Most places charged a ridiculous amount for a simple piercing so that's when I called needle pushers and their pricing was just right. My boyfriend and I came in and we were greeted by Marv. He was super chill and really funny. After filling out some paperwork he took us to the back to get started. First of all he's very informative, you can tell he knows everything there is about piercings from pre and post care. I have many piercings and let me tell you that I have never had a better experience. He made sure to align the piecing just right and it literally took him a second to pierce and put in the jewelry. Marv pierced my nipples and did an amazing job! They're not too expensive - $70 for both including jewelry and he is just the nicest guy and so good at what he does! I've been here 3x now, the first time was when I was 18 and got my belly button pierced, the second time was maybe three years ago when I got my second lobe piercing and I just got my third lobe piercing done there today, and this last visit was by far the best experience. The most recent piercing I've added to my body was a double nose piercing, which is the one on each side, and I'm completely satisfied with how it turned out!! Got my very first tattoo here and it was an awesome experience. Everyone is sooooo nice! Anthony was really sweet and knowledgeable and helped me decide which tattoo I wanted and the placement. This place is awesome all the staff makes you feel super welcome and do an amazing job at accommodating  you. My tattoo artist was Teresa and I can not tell you enough how amazing she is! She's so down to earth and explained everything and answered all my questions. I felt comfortable right away with her. She ended up doing a cover-up tattoo on me, which I knew was going to be very difficult in the first place. However I did not realize she would do such an amazing job at covering everything up. This girl is fantastic you need to see her! She only works Sundays which I wish she worked more days but I understand. She is going to be my one and only tattoo artist from now on. This shop is so cool! It's such a fun place to be in which is kind of ironic because it's kind of the 'house of pain,' being that it's a tattoo and piercing shop. I loved the music playing; Deftones! Once you walk inside, you can see that every study has their own small private room for clients. I think it's cool that they have privacy rooms just in case you're getting a tattoo in a spot where you might have to reveal more skin in front of people than you'd like to. We were treated by Marv. Than God I did!Marv is very honest about his work and will go through everything step by step. I wanted my nose pierced so I was a walk-in on a Saturday early afternoon and Marv took care of business right away. There were people waiting for tattoos but by the time I signed my waiver, etc - he was ready and already set up for me. He explained everything and was super friendly and fun. I have had my ears pierced in the mall (and a dr's office when I was a kid) - but never a needle piercing so I was a little nervous. I was looking for the best tattoo artist to work on my first tattoo, I came across with some one who claims to be the "world famous tattoo artist" and I was very disappointed with the tattoo I got from him, many blank spaces needed to be touched up and it was missing many details and he never retuned my calls. Best piercing experience ever! I've been wanting to get my Industrial Piercing done since the first time I saw it, so I started asking around for good suggestions on where to get my piercing done and one of my former co-workers highly recommended I come to Needle Pushers if I wanted my piercing to be done right! So I came in on Thursday afternoon and everyone was so attentive and nice! Marv did my piercing and I'm not gonna lie I was so nervous to get it done lol but Marv made me feel at ease and comfortable, which was great! The piercing itself wasn't really painful, the only part that did hurt was when he stuck the bar in. Went here to get a tattoo done and was greeted by the shop owner and already felt completely comfortable. I didn't have an appointment but the guy worked around the schedule and let me get my work done. Which was awesomeI met this guy George who completely worked out the tattoo idea that I've been wanting for years out on me perfectly. He found a better placement  for it that complements the existing tattoos on my arm.If you want perfect steady hands and crisp fine lines you're going to want to find George!!!! I have a full sleeve and this is favorite tattoo already. I got a tattoo the other day that was completely fucked up and I cannot wait for it to heal to see what this guy can do with his magic. Honestly best piercing experience here. Now I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to needles, and let me tell you that Marv has some Angel hands. Let me tell you why you need to come here, I've called up many other tattoo/piercing shops and requested that if they can do a nose hoop piercing as my first and they all said no. When I called needle pushers a gentleman named Marv was quick to say yes!! Gave me different options on which nose piercing I wanted to start with and I was just amazed about what you can start with. Other places just give you "the Stud" man fuck the stud I want a damn nose hoop. Showed up to the location, and was full of friendly and funny people. Marv attended me and was giving me more information on why I will bleed a lot since I've had a stud before that fell out(scar tissue). The process was super fast and PAINLESS. Marv cleaned up and took care of me, making me laugh the whole process. At the end Marv was cool and gave me tips on what todo to keep it healthy, and things to avoid so it can heal up faster.Honestly It was worth coming here than going to some swaptmeet that just wants your money. Wow! Unfortunately I'm only able to give Needle Pushers 5 stars as they deserve 10, Easily!Aside from the professionalism they are complete  artists and great at what they do. I had just stepped foot in the door and was welcomed instantly! There isn't a language in which I can describe Zekes work. After my bf and I looked at his Instagram stuff ( FYI @zekewolf) he decided to book him. Boy are we glad we did!
