I wanted to get a tattoo on my vacation and this was the first shop I tried. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the smell. It was musty and just didn't smell clean. Then I was ignored for 10 minutes, because I'm not rude enough to just tell out and announce my presence. Then, when I showed the design that I was thinking about, the gentleman just looked me as though he didn't understand what I was asking. Needless to say, I did not get tattooed at this establishment. I visited Hollywood from another state and honestly was going to give up my search for a quality AND affordable tattoo shop in LA. The energy here made me walk in and the owner's easy going attitude and super fair prices made me stay! The art work on the wall was clear, simple and well done. I got 3 roses on my left arm (starting a sleeve) and I am in loveeeeeee. Clean, simple, and Quality. Love this place and the people. They are very good people with good hearts. They have been doing tattoos here for 40 years in this location. Good vibes. I'm feeling very blessed and lucky for them. I had got an anchor tattoo there 5 years ago and gave them a bad review. It turned out to be my Favrite tattoo it always will be. I got a lighting bolt tattoo the other day it was beound perfect. went in for a very simple, small teacup. the guy did a terrible job even after I had him print out a picture of what i wanted and stencil it onto my skin. the whole thing is uneven and droopy and lines arent straight. people keep asking me what it is. dont go here. Read Less

My tattoo was a fairly simple flower. The artist took way longer than needed due to constant stops so she could go smoke. Months later my tattoo is blurry and dull. I cringe at the thought of going back for it to be touched up. I'll find someone else to do it. Read Less

Getting tattoos --especially down the spine -- can turn out horribly. Whether the worries pertain to uneven alignment with your back, the aesthetics, or the constant anxiety about the pain, it's difficult to go into it without any nerves! This is my second tattoo with Jay and I am so thankful to have been recommended to him a few years ago. He's experienced, professional, clean, and quick! I trust his judgments and advice as he really does only have your best interest in mind. My tattoo is of a quote that is very important to me, and it turned out even better than what I had imagined.
