I've come to Channel Street Tattoo for my last few tattoo's and my artist was always Oakie! Oakie would take my ideas for a tattoo and transform them into a super nice design! Oakie has also done coverups for me, add-ons, and fix-ups.The environment is very friendly and chill, and not like a few other shops I've been to where the artist's are a bit snippy and rush you through choosing a design. My wife and I both got tattoos done here yesterday. This shop is now called Channel Street Tattoo as it was previously Ace Of Hearts. It's still owned by the same owner and is the sister shop to AOH. I still like the setup of this shop as it remains unchanged. Clean, awesome staff, and reasonable pricing. I got a dream catcher tattoo from Dylan T. My wife got our daughters birth dates and wedding anniversary by Gabe. Both artists were super professional and can get down with the tattoo gun! Awesome artists!! Two thumbs up for sure. Came in looking to get a tattoo and right off the bat the environment was super inviting and very clean I might add  . A couple of the guys were jamming out singing some funny songs which I thought gave the shop a real at home/fun vibe. I was helped shortly after and the best part is There was no ego or snobby attitude when it came to any questions I had regarding tattoo work so communication was very easy. Aside from what I originally had in mind there was tons of flash on the walls to kinda help me get other ideas and even thoughts on my next tattoo. The prices are very reasonable and I would say it's the GO TO shop in San Pedro if you're  a local and just a GO TO shop in general. Gabe gave me an awesome tiger on my leg. I told him what I wanted and he customized it better than I could have imagined.The shop is very nice and clean. All the tattooers were professional and I had an above average experience. The displayed artwork and portfolios were impressive.I came in, told the artist what I wanted. 20 minutes later I retuned to find a masterpiece. He cleaned and shaved my leg, put the outline on. Just over an hour later he was done. I have been tattooed by many artists and I will say hands down he is one of the elite! The real deal. I came here specifically for alex and let me tell you hes awesome hes friendly and knew exactly the tattoo i wanted he made the picture placement perfect for the size of my arm i loved the placement of were he put it. ALEX HOLIDAY is one of the best if not the best tattoo artists I have ever dealt with. He always gives me great suggestions and has NEVER disappointed me. He never pressures you into anything and he is honest. If he thinks something isn't a good idea he will tell you, unlike other shops that just do whatever just to get some money out of you. Ever since I moved to LA over a year ago I go to him and only him. The shop that he is at is great too. Everyone that works there is a complete professional and very down to earth. Everyone is welcoming and there are no bad vibes. I will keep coming to this shop until I am out of bare skin. HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality tattoo.
