I hope that nobody has to go through the shit that I am with an infected tattoo from this shop. I am not the only one that got a tattoo that night and is infected. My friend and I went to get tattoos and theyre both infected and the ink is coming out of mine. It is a lot of pain and discomfort and now is scarring. There isnt a negative star rating or else it would be at the bottom plus some! HORRIBLE ASS TATTOO ESTABLISHMENT!   Only because it wont let me post without a star that star is for negative rating. Honestly, I wanted to like this place. I went and told the guy  ( I think he called himself diablo.. whatever) exactly what I wanted.. I even drew it out for him. When we talked about it, he was being pretty controlling telling me to just let him do it and tbat he was the artist blah blah. When I told him what colors I wanted the bird to be he told me I didnt know what I was talking about. He then asked me to come back in a few days because he was going to draw it out so i could see it. Okay cool. I come back somewhat excited in spite of his attitude.. the drawing was NOTHING ... and I mean NOTHING like what I asked for. I was so upset I didnt even fight for my deposit back. Its sad because he is a good artist but has a huge head and wont listen to anyone but himself. Dont go unless u dont care what ur tattoo looks like as long as it looks cool. Read Less

Five stars for simplicity. I got a small tattoo on my left wrist and Danubio was the artist. He was very patient and HILARIOUS. He wanted to make sure that I was satisfied with the final drawing and placement. And of course, RELAX, just relax haha. I went with my two friends and it was just a fun experience because he's a great person to talk too while you're getting tattooed. Compared to Outer Limits Long Beach, it is quite different. IA looks more like a kick back place but still do great shit. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back for more tattoos. Read Less

They say rule#1 is that the customer is always right well not here this is ther world .we just live in it I wanted a tattoo of my grandma on my forearm.i was told not advisable for me to put it on my forearm he needed more canvas and I'm calling it a canvas cuz he did not tattoo me he did art. I cannot speak highly enough of Ink Assassins! Been getting ink here for years, from both Ed (Diablo) and Ian. I have 3 pieces from Ian and 11 from Ed and I am far from done getting ink from them. Extremely professional from everyone I have encountered there, great prices for the quality of work (don't forget people you get what you pay for!) and super friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place you can hang out and shoot the shit with the artists. As for quality of work put it this way, tattoos like my Heath Ledger Joker portrait, I got it done 5 years ago and last night I still get people tripping balls over it, asking where I got it and taking pictures of it. He did a great job, its a year later, and i couldn't be happier with my ink.one thing that i really respected thought, was that he made sure this wasn't a decision i was just rushing into. he made sure i knew this was something i was going to have on me for life. I came in there knowing what i wanted, but it was nice to see that he wasn't just trying to make money off me. that this is a craft he obviously enjoys and respects.i cant wait until i can save up enough cash and come back. Nice hidden tattoo shop. I came here for my first tattoo and it was an okay experience. The tattoo itself is awesome and I love it, but professionalism was lacking a bit. I only say this because the guy who did my tattoo never gave me clear answers to the questions I had. He was a little too much of a joker and I was a nervous wreck the whole time, so the joking would've been okay but not while I'm clearly nervous. He was also flirting a little too much with my friends WHILE he had the needle on my back! Wow.Basically five stars for the tattoo and the shop but minus one for the flirtatious tattoo artist.  :/Overall a nice place, but I think I'll go somewhere else next time. Read Less
