NEVER AGAIN! My tragus piercing  got infected and I called another piercer from a different shop to check it out . Turns out the piercer grabbed too much skin and the jewelry was too short. Shane is an absolute professional. I saw him to get a cancer ribbon on my wrist, and he was more than happy to oblige. He was thorough with getting my medical history to be sure I wouldn't have healing issues, and discussed design and placement with me to make sure I was able to achieve my expectations. Although I have been tattooed before, this would be my first visible (to everyone) tat, so I was a bit picky, and he was patient and worked with me to get it perfect. Took my daughter in for a naval piercing. The environment was clean, welcoming and super professional. We were in and out very quickly. The body piercer was very nice and thoroughly gave my daughter how to care for her new piercing. Would definitely go there again should the need arise. Read Less

My sister in law and her friend went by there recently to get a tattoo done. The staff was very rude and disrespectful not only to them but the piece they wanted to get done as well. I guess this place must not be hurting for money if they are so quick to turn business away. Congratulations.......you get zero stars in my book and no future business. My wife usually gets her work done in Manteca, but we were out of town at the time. Shane did her tattoo, it looked swollen as soon as he finished. Maybe its because Shane decided it was ok to stop half way though her tattoo for a half hour, to do a couple piercings, and pull out a dermal for other people, while her arm swelled and started to get tender. Spent nearly 4 hours in the shop on a small tattoo. We go home, she washes it 4x a day w/ antibacterial soap, and use Aquaphor, she knows the drill. Long story short, the tattoo isn't healing,  and her arm blows up the size of an orange, and she heads to the ER (no insurance) to find out she has a staff infection from unsterilized equipment, doctors words not mine.  Shane claims its my wifes fault for not taking care of it, and wont refund her because he says "It happens, thats why I had you fill out the paper work." BULLSHIT, shes got quite a bit of work on her and  not once has she ever gotten staff infection from them...UNTIL NOW! Thanks Shane your amazing. Read Less

Horrible. The piercer is so not nice. He's totally looking to get things over with and take the money. Total rip off by the way because I got my septum pierced and the guy pierced it crooked. He didn't answer any questions I had with respect, he answered just because. He pierced it twice crookedly and blamed it on me because I "moved" my head. I was still as a leaf. He charged my mom 40$ for the piercing and it was crooked and pierced way too far back. Please don't go here to get pierced. I think their specialty is tattoos.. It's supposed to rest against your upper lip and mine stuck straight out. Some piercers can get away without using a clamp but he can't lmao Read Less

Love love love Shane at anchors away.... Between my boyfriend and myself we have gotten 3 tattoos and have apts set for more to come.... He is always super nice and creative..... Both tattoos I have gotten I just told him the "idea" of what I wanted and he came up with amazing drawings both times.... I like that all of his work is perfectly detailed and you can see all the pride in all of his work.... Both of my tattoos have taken over 5hrs and he was always understanding anytime I needed to stop and take a break... He did an amazing cover up on my boyfriend too.... I just got my first tattoo there about 2 weeks ago by Daniel, and I love it. The guy is hot, and also does really great work. What more could you ask for? The atmosphere at the shop is the most laid back out of the 4 I scouted out. I felt so comfortable there. They are priced for quality work. My friend and I came here today to fix a very old and unfinished tattoo. The owner greeted us and immediately made us feel at ease (as I was very nervous, silly, I know). I told him what I wanted and he flawlessly and quickly sketched what I wanted, exactly how I described what I wanted. The shop is very clean and very well designed.
