I am incredibly impressed by Coleton. I came in a day after losing my cat of 17 years and asked him to tattoo her paw print on my arm. He was so professional and caring - every bit of the tattoo was reviewed and he took my wants into consideration. I literally got the EXACT tattoo I wanted. He was even able to capture the grooves in her little paws. I was floored. It is light, airy, smooth, clean AF. The shop was very nice - everything was super clean and I noticed while sitting in the waiting area that they were selling multiple items for charity. All around EXCELLENT experience. My boyfriend made an appointment about a month ago with Chelsey, and sent her everything that she required to sketch up his tattoo. Chelsey nor her assistant never sent him a sketch, and my boyfriend saw it for the first time the morning of the appointment on her instagram story. After letting her know part of it was different then what he wanted, she let him know it was too late to change and he would have to reschedule AND lose his deposit. We went in a few hours early to try and talk about just a color change, but instead got told to "just send it over e-mail". At this point we decided to eat the deposit and go elsewhere, but her assistant then sent an email saying that we shouldn't have gone in, cancelled his appointment and if he still wanted a tattoo to reschedule, yet this time decided to give us back the deposit. Very unprofessional, and unnecessarily confusing as all he wanted was to change the color. Unfortunate as her work seems to be good - that is if you actually get what you want. Read Less

I've been to see Jace twice for a previous tattoo fix (from a different shop in Livermore). Super cool guy, very clean, sterile (yet comfortable shop). All Jace cared about is what exactly what I was looking for and what would make me happy. That was refreshing right from the get-go. I felt Jace was genuine and that meant the world to me. He had to fix a tattoo that had already been worked. Not necessarily and definitely not easy on the skin. He did his very best and my cross turned out beautifully. His prices are phenomenal. Oh my goodness.... I've never felt more at home with Chelsey here. She's by far one of my favorite tattoo artists in California and I can list the reasons why for days. Her art is super fun and colorful. I'm obsessed with the glitter work she does as well. I've gotten 2 from her, one was disney (her specialty) and my 2 friends and I got donut friendship tattoos. Chelsey has such amazing and unique style as well as a heart of gold. I HIGHLY recommend being tattooed by her. Got some work done by Brandon. He is the one to go to for tribal. He freehanded my thigh piece and drew up exactly how I envisioned it to be. He incorporated a mixture of Polynesian and Filipino tribal. I told him that I wanted my tattoo to symbolize family and love, and he made sure to put in the right symbols to capture the meaning of it. He also described what each symbol meant and how it tied into the whole tattoo, which was cool. He made sure I was comfortable since it took about 4.5 hours to get it all done. Brandon was professional and really nice. He was also easy to talk to during the whole process! The whole vibe at the shop is super chill and they play dope music! OC did my wrist tattoo a couple of weeks ago. The appointment was short notice, but he made time o get my tattoo done! He did a phenomenal job! It's absolutely perfect. Definitely a drive for me from SJ, but it was worth it to finish my piece with Brandon! This store is very clean, and bright, the light shines in and it brightens up the room, not like other tattoo shops that are kinda scary looking/dimly lit. They play slaaaaaps! While continuing with Brandon to finish my arm piece that he started at his old location, he was playing music that I could sing/rap along to and it helped me stay calm, even though I kinda wanted to just jump up and start dancing! Lol! My arm piece turned out amazing  and I couldn't be happier! We have 1 more session just to touch it up a bit, and it turned out better than I can imagine! Thanks to Rory Rudy for the great artwork. I walked in just to inquire and Sean made me feel so comfortable that I ended up getting two tiny tantalising tattoos. Sean was busy, so Rury helped me. It was my first time getting inked and Rory made sure I am happy about the design and size and its placement. He did modifications the way I wanted to the sample I showed him. Rory also helped me in deciding about the size and placement. I am very happy with the results. It was quick, painless and reasonably priced.They don't  accept debit/credit cards but there is an ATM in their studio. BTW all the cool artwork hanging on the walls is done by these great artists. This is THE BEST shop with THE BEST local artists. I've only been tattooed by OC Thomas, but I have seen all of the artists work and WOW. Every single one of them are true artists! It's a great atmosphere here too, nothing but good vibes. OC is a great artist, but still remains a down to earth chill dude. It's great having an artist that is beyond excellent, but his prices are better than everywhere else, his work is amazing, and he is a genuine humble dude. I was looking for my first tattoo artist since I wanted a very nice custom piece w/  rose and I searched all over the bay area for artists and there work, no one has compared to the realism and legit work the OC Thomas does, his rose work has been on point and on top of any other artists here in the bay area, if you feel you can get another artist to make a better and more realistic rose tattoo ill pay you $500.......... ( wont happen so it wont be needed) Anyway since I texted and emailed him he replied back to me very interested and scheduled a consolation so he can get an idea of what I wanted. I brought him a rose tattoo and that I wanted it associated with my moms name and a rosary. and he came out with something 10x better than I had imagined it in my head. I was so pleased because he is such a cool guy and takes interest in your ideas for your tattoo and very nice to work with.So far I have one session finished out of the two sessions I need because he works around his closing time for me since I get off at work around 2 hours before he closes which I appreciate since he gives up his evening to help me create this work of art. I will post the after first session picture and the after second session picture.As for the shop goes, its extremely clean, it's got a very nice scent to the place and all there equipment is disposable and all that good stuff ect. I started going to The Ink Gallery because the staff there was amazing! Super friendly and down to earth artist. Sean, OC, and Adrian are super chill making it easy to stay calm while getting tatted.The shop is super clean and spacious.  One of the guys was mopping the bathroom when I walked in!  I was greeted immediately and felt welcome. I LOVE OC! The Ink Gallery is so warm and welcoming. The shop is kept very clean and pricing is really reasonable. I've had a piece worked on a couple times now and every time I've been the only one there.
