I was looking for a shop in the area to switch out my nose piercing jewelry and found this great shop. I came in on the Saturday before Christmas and it was pretty chill with only one guy in the back getting tattooed. I called before hand to see if the piercer was in and we talked on the phone and he was really friendly. When I walked I was greeted politely by the two other employees and met Ruly in person who very friendly. When we were in the back room for piercings, I showed Ruly my jewelry that I brought to be switched and he addressed my concern that it would hurt because the stud in my nose was a fishtail backing. He was extremely gentle and reassuring when taking out the stud which was painless and put in the new jewelry at no charge. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a piercing shop to come here because Ruly was very professional and friendly. I'm going to post a picture of the piercing prices if anyone wanted to know. I've had 5 tattoos done at Grossero by Marissa.  Each of my tattoos has significant meaning for me.  Marissa embraced how spiritual they were for me and paid fantastic attention to every last detail.  Absolutely beautiful artwork.  Her creativity is unmatched.  I've had all black, colored, water colored, and line work tattoos done by her.  I'm very happy with each tattoo and very happy with how well they each compliment one another.  I highly recommend Marissa.  The shop can be a bit intimidating if you can't handle strong personalities or a bit of good natured ribbing.  The only complaint I have is that I would prefer the tv and/or stereo be turned down. Marissa is seriously amazing!! I've gotten quite a bit of work done by her and am in love with every piece!! The shop is super fun, everyone is really nice. I would def recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! All of their work is rad! Great prices too!! Also I'd advise not reading one negative review on people and basing your decision off of that. Some great San Diego artists work here. The owner "Mouse" is the one who does work on my girlfriends sleeve. We've gone in for quite a few sessions and he is always proffessional, on time, listens to what she wants, and takes his time perfecting the details. He actually freehanded my girl's last piece, it came out amazing. We would reccomend this place to anyone and everyone. The atmoshpere is relaxed with an urban street feel, they have skate boards and lots of gear available for purchase as well as a barber onsight. Everyone who works there is super chill.
